Saturday morning Penny woke up early again and sighed deeply, because she knew what was waiting for her and she didn’t like it very much. She had to create another identity for her assistant and she didn’t envy the work she had to do again for falsifying all that stuff. The good thing was, she had already done the research and knew what documents she had to forge and this time there were less of them, plus she had more help this time. She was going to falsify the birth records from the same hospital, so the signatures and writing were the same. She may need to choose a different school and search for their signatures and yearbooks, but A.I.C.A. could handle that part. In fact now that she had a body she could believably falsify a lot of signatures and handwritings. If they were from the same town there was nothing suspicious about her having a medical history recorded in the same hospital. Her insurance company and a lot of other things could be the same. She had to research a different university and redo the work there, but that also wasn’t hard. After streamlining the process from the first time they completed the documents, pictures and online history by the end of the day, and while she was at it Penny planned her next prank.

The following day Penny visited all the places she needed to visit and while she was inserting information in the NSA computer, she snuck a few lines of custom code. When the person she chose was being analyzed by any other means they may or may not turn out to be innocent, but when analyzed by the NSA networked computers all their transactions, conversations and actions will be deemed suspicious or even national security threat. And boy oh boy, did she choose someone interesting. Fortunately for the person chosen the code would burn itself out after a week in the systems and they would no longer be the most WANTED man in America. So, yes, moving on.

Penny finished her job of entering data in all the needed computers and hard copy files and returned home to relax. She had some food, watched a few DVDs she had long planned to watch and tried to not think about the business and manufacturing certificates she had to get. Plus all the paperwork needed to open her prank shop so she could legally sell her toys. Then there were all the improvements she could implement into her suit, not the military one. She could enchant the fabric to teleport kinetic energy into the gauntlets and that way make it completely bulletproof and not just bullet resistant. Or insert a breathing apparatus at the place where her mouth is and enchant a pocket dimension for air. And then there was the unrealistic fantasizing about turning into a supervillain and masterminding some sci-fi crimes with a team of shady people with a checkered past. Eh maybe if she got bored and needed something to do.

The next day Penny called Jenny and invited her to have lunch. She had some business questions and it was fun talking with the pleasant woman. Then for a brief moment she wandered why that was the case. She knew she liked talking to her so she gave her phone number to the woman, but what she didn’t know was did she like her like a friend or something more? Maybe soon she would find out the answer.

-A gift. For the date. For the lunch date. For helping me out. A.I.C.A. I need a practical gift for a business major, but also not boring. What should I do about it?-

-Penny, why don’t you calm down for now? You can make her a pair of AR smart glasses. Until your date we can create a simple analytical AI based on the pet AI and transfer it to the glasses. That way she won’t be needing other devises to be connected for the AI to work and she would be able to finish work faster so she has more time to “play”.-

-You are absolutely right. I am starting work on the glasses, you work on the AI and make sure it can interface with all popular programs and analyze and compare data. I need to make it easy to connect to her phone or PC. Also the look of the design needs tweaking. Good we have time. Let’s go to work.-

And they did and finished just in time for the lunch date. Penny met with Jenny just outside a little Italian restaurant and the two entered it together, were led to their table and ordered their food.

-So, how have you been? I haven’t heard from you in two weeks. I hope you aren’t as busy as the last time you called me?-

-Ha-ha, no, no, not that busy. At least not to the point I neglect sleep. I made a few breakthroughs in my work and submitted a few patent applications. Now I just need to study for a few business applications and can sell my products to consumers. That is one of the reasons I wanted to invite you to lunch, to ask about these things.-

-Oh? And what other reasons did you have?-Jenny was interested by the statement instead of disappointed. Maybe she could rise her hopes for the other reasons?

And so they talked about various topics and exchanged advice and ideas, but I won’t bore you with details. Not because I have no Idea how to progress the conversation, or am stuck creatively on the chapter. When they finished their lunch and the conversation started to wane, Penny took out a glasses box from her purse and handed it to Jenny.

-This is one of the products I was working on and I want you to accept it as thanks for helping me. Think of it as helping me beta test it. It has a next generation AI that could help you with analyzing and compare data and a few other things. I hope it can help you when you decide where you want to work in the future.-

-Thank you, Penny! That is a very thoughtful gift. I don’t know what to say except that I will cherish it. How do they look?-Jenny put the glasses on and made a few poses with her hands and head.

-You look like a verry sexy librarian.-And that was Penny’s answer before she could stop herself from saying it. Both girls turned pink and quickly said goodbye before hurrying home.

A few days passed. I don’t know how long it takes to test and approve toys, so I am winging it. Penny received all documents and certificated she needed to start selling her toys. She signed non-exclusive contracts with two toy companies who agreed to distribute her robots. With the money from the first orders, she had enough money to register her laboratory, small production company and enough for one more company’s registration. That money she rerouted through a few international banks to make them impossible to trace and then assumed her other identity.

Aicaria Dias was escorting her employer Valentina Santiago to a business meeting with the United States Army. The meeting was scheduled for two hours later, but her employer liked to be early rather than late and so they were on their way to the meeting place at the moment. What they were going to offer the army was contained in 2 silver briefcases currently in the hands of Valentina. Aicaria was scanning her surroundings for treats as they walked on the busy streets. And when I say scanning I mean that in the most literal way possible, because Aicaria was the AI A.I.C.A. in an android body and Valentina Santiago was the identity created by Penny for her defense company.

When the time for the meeting came, Valentina didn’t beat around the bush and immediately opened the first briefcase she was holding and turned it around to show her opposite party. Inside was a folded set of the CM-v1.0 and TBRES plus a compact flash drive. Valentina took out a business card and left it on the table next to the briefcases and turned to leave the room.

-Test it and when you are ready to order, call me to discuss the contract. It was nice meeting you gentlemen.-

The tactic was either stupid or brilliant depending on the reaction of the opposite party. She was letting the product speak for itself and when the army found out it outperformed the most advanced body armor and exoskeletons on the market or currently in research, they would be interested in the price of it. Valentina planned to charge the production value with all her patents, plus percentages for the un-existing R&D cost plus percentages profit and then only pay for the material costs and produce them for almost no money and then pocket the difference in some secret bank account. Everything had to look good for the tax man. Now the question was will the army be impressed or dismiss her as a looney and not even test the armor.

We go back a few days into the past and find ourselves observing the NSA operations room. An analyst has just received an alert about a suspicious bank transaction and he was checking it out. What that one alert started was similar to a domino effect and all kinds of new dominoes were triggered one after another during the investigation. There was a large reach of criminal activity all starting at a single address and when the investigation was over a tactical team was send to arrest the perpetrator. Just as they were approaching the bodyguards so they could subdue them, they pulled their weapons and started yelling.

-Secret service. Stop where you are or we will open fire!-And at the same time the NSA agent were yelling their own identification. The person who Penny decided to put under investigation was the President.
