The Last of the Divas

“Not you,” groaned Ella as another figure appeared.

“I remember when you had a crush on me,” said Hiro.

“For like, two seconds!”

“Hiro, can you bring us Dian?” asked Phila.

“Sure, I’ll meet you in the front of the building with her. I hope the wagon can all support us,” said Hiro.

“How?” asked Ella. “Chad, you read my mind and found out our plan, didn’t you?”

“Yes, and while Hiro is getting Dian, we have a Diva to slay,” said Chad. They were completely silent all the way to the airlocks. Phila tried to make eye contact with Chad, but he wouldn’t look at her. Sighing, she gave up.

“Okay, they’re on the other side,” said Chad, looking at the door with broken welding.

“Even I could have told you that,” said Ella, looking where the welding had once been. She slowly creaked the door open as Phila took the form of Rece.

“How nice of you to join us!” said Frida, sealing the door behind them. “Let’s have a tea party!” Terrence was tied to a chair with a gag in his mouth. In front of him was a teapot.

“You have got to be kidding me,” said Phila.

“No, Rece, I’m quite serious. You think you could rise above me, didn’t you,” said Frida, pacing back and forth. “Not today.”

“So you’re going to throw a tea party? Big deal,” Phila huffed.

“Allow me to demonstrate,” said Frida. “The teapot isn’t actually filled with tea. It is filled with a special solution that is lethal to touch.”

“Good, because if you were going to tell me it was filled with tea I was going to ask if you were craz-” Frida poured the tea on Phila as she reverted.

“Phila!” yelled Ella as Phila’s goo turned into a black charcoal like substance.

“Who wants to be next?” asked Frida with a devlish grin.
