Ash finished the rest of the things with Aster, mainly just covering his tracks so that he could not be connected to him in any way, and also to steal as many resources from Aster's account.

He knew that Aster would probably try to save his ass by calling Giovanni, but he made sure that he wouldn't get anything from Giovanni.

Only one thing was left, he had Porygon2 delete all records of the Porygon blueprints in Team Rocket and sent Aki a text.

'Yo Aki, it's done, I took care of Aster and now you can start making Porygon again, and also the next payment is already in your account'

'lol, alright, I actually finished making more, also a quick note, the Porygon you have is not for battling, but I have the upgrade that will give it that feature, I figured you should have it since you kept your word,'

Ash put his phone away, he'll get that later, probably after Aki distributes the Porygon out, but for now, he didn't really need it, but he would go get it later its just not a priority.

As he looked back out at sea on top of Lapras he thought about what to do now, he had everything he wanted from the Orange islands, but there was also a bit of time until his 11th birthday which was May 22nd.

Anyway, Ash did have to wait for the weather to get bad since he was waiting for the events of 'The Power of One' to start, but he just didn't know when it would happen.

So he would go wait for a while, for now scrolling through his phone looking at anything new to look at, eventually stumbling across something.

"Hmm? Pokerogue? The heck is this, a fan game as a browser game?" Ash said looking at the screen, "Whatever sure I'll kill some time, no way this game is even any good,"

{In the sky in an airship}

Lawrence III was looking across his computer trying to find the traces of the legendary birds, ever since they disappeared months ago there has been an influx of Power ranging across not just Kanto, but the world.

Lawrence knew that this was it, the moment he needed to step up and claim Lugia as his.

But the only problem with that was that 2 pieces of the puzzle were missing, he couldn't accept that.

But that all changed when he finally found a reading coming from the Orange Islands, he found reports that Lugia rests there and that the birds returned to protect that sacred land, and when he got close he saw them, finally his destiny.

He smiled and looked down at the chest pieces he had picked up a Zapdos piece and smiled, "I shall start with you,"

Following that the energy cannons attached to the ship charged with bright blue energy as they aimed at Zapdos, Lawrence smiled knowing that his destiny was almost here saying one word,

"Fire"

In the sky, the Brave Olivine was flying through the air, after they met with Ash they chose to start their journey to Paldea, currently, they are flying over the Orange Islands.

The weather was normal as they were sailing and everyone was enjoying themselves. Liko was resting with Sprigatito as she enjoyed the sun.

But then out of seemingly nowhere the weather changed, it was a nice sunny day but then in a moment a surprise thunderstorm caught them in the center.

The storm was extra strong for some reason and caused some damage to the ship itself before disappearing just as fast as it came.

Friede brought his head out of the bridge, "What's going on out here, we're losing air!"

Liko who not a minute ago was relaxing started to panic, "I-I-I don't know, it was normal, me and Sprigatito were relaxing but then thunderclouds and, the balloon has a hole in it!"

At that moment Orla jumped out from the engine room, "Hey Friede we're losing air fast, something punctured the airship and we're losing gas,"

"What? Can't you use the Bug-type wild Pokémon to fix it before we fall?"

"Are you crazy, the wind is shooting out so strong any Pokemon will get blown away we need an emergency landing!"

Then in a moment as the ship tilted down Murdock ran out his shirt dirty, "Friede what's wrong with your driving, you made me waste a batch of Donuts I was making!"

Friede smiled, "Murdock perfect timing, since you're here get Liko and the Pokemon inside we're going for a surprise landing, Orla get to the engine and get me some height, me and Cap will deal with this,"

Orla and Murdock nodded, albeit a bit begrudgingly but the threat of falling out of the sky seemed to be really convincing.

They each ran to their stations to try to stop themselves from crashing into the ocean, as Friede was at the wheel he looked at the GPS he had next to him to see where the next island was to make a landing and some repairs.

As he read it his eye twitched slightly, "No way, why here wHY here, anywhere but here…"

Friede had to swallow his tongue and as much as he didn't want to go to this specific island he had no choice, he brought the intercom to his mouth, "Everyone, brace yourselves this landing isn't going to be fun for anyone!"

Then he put it down and grabbed the wheel, "Ready cap, this is going to be a rough one,"

Captain Pikachu smiled and gave a thumbs up as Friede pulled up the wheel trying to stabilize the ship.

"Amethio sir, we half found that the ship has stopped," Zirc reported, "They seemed to have landed at an island and their ship doesn't look like it will be able to fly anytime soon,"

Onia smiled and clapped her hands together, "Yeah isn't that good, let's ambush them and take the amulet this time."

Amethio frowned, "No, I don't want the pendant to have another chance to escape like last time, have you made sure that trainer is not with them,"

Zirc nodded, "Indeed Amethio sir, that trainer is not with them, it seems like he never was, so there shouldn't be any risk for us."

Amethio nodded, "Good, you 2 will go and distract that Friede and I will go after the pendant holder, am I clear."

"Sir yes sir!"

Ash was still playing, "Why is this game so addictive…"

Lapras was pretty much taking a nap and Pikachu was munching on a few berries he covered in ketchup as he was standing on top of Gyarados.

Ash sighed and put his phone down, "I really should go do something, but what, I really don't want to go beat up Drake, even though could probably go kick his teeth in, hmm what to do."

Then as he was thinking, he saw a surprise thunderstorm appear for a moment and then disappear immediately after. Following that, he saw a certain airship falling out of the sky and down to the water.

Ash raised his eyebrow, "Huh, the heck? Is that them, shouldn't they already be traveling to Paldea?"

But Ash was more focused on the thunderstorm because for a storm to appear and disappear so fast that meant one thing, it was starting.

He thought for a moment then decided to go check out the airship first, as far as he knows Articuno and Moltres are still with the 'GO' leaders.

He whistled signaling for his Pokemon to start moving, so they did and made their way to the island.

After the crash landing on this island, everyone came out to do some damage control, they found that no one was hurt and that everyone was accounted for which was good, but the parts of the balloon were damaged and some parts were fried.

Orla sighed and went to work to try and do what she could meanwhile everyone else would do their part in what they could do, which also meant Liko would do nothing since she was new and didn't know anything about what to do in this situation.

So she sat down and did what she always does, started watching Nidothing videos, there seemed to be an interesting one about the Pokemon League that Nidothing released a bit after the Indigo League.

As she was watching it she couldn't help but hear something, it was yelling…no more like singing, but not from a person.

Liko looked at Sprigatito looking confused at each others as they got up and went to find the source of the singing.

It didn't take long when they got to the front of the ship Fuecoco was singing off the edge of the ship taking advantage that they were in a mountain clearing to sound louder. Not even notice that Liko or Sprigatito were watching.

Once Fuecoco was satisfied he looked back and was shocked to see Liko or Sprigatito clapping at him, they heard him singing,

"Wow, that was really good, Fuecoco!" Liko said as Sprigatito mewed in agreement.

Fuecoco was flustered and in a panic, he slipped and fell off the ship, falling into the sand, when Liko said as Sprigatito looked over looking worried, Fuecoco pulled his head out of the sand and started fleeing into the forest.

Liko said as Sprigatito looked at each other then they started to panic as they started running to get off the ship to go after Fuecoco.

As they ran by everyone she didn't stop and just yelled out to them, "I'm going for a run don't worry about me!!"

They all blinked in surprise, they all could immediately tell something happened but they didn't say anything for one part they had to fix the airship, and on another, she had a phone she could call them if she needed help.

{POV change in the forest}

A boy with a puffy magenta tuft of hair came out from under a hat while the rest of his hair was dark brown, and had magenta eyes. He had a dark brown hoodie with short white sleeves and a red shirt with a printed R, this was Roy.

He was sitting in the forest using his Rotom Phone to attend his classes, being on an island and all, and the part that he looked forward to the most was during the time he could talk to his classmates.

Specifically, he loved when they showed him their Pokemon, he always loved Pokemon and dreamed of having a Pokemon of his own ever since his grandfather told him about the ancient hero.

He even had something that apparently belonged to him, an ancient Pokeball, he couldn't open it, nor did it even seem like it had anything in it, but it was cool so he kept it.

Today he was especially interested in his classmates since now they all had their first Pokemon meaning he was the last one that didn't have a Pokemon.

"Wow guys that's amazing," Roy said his eyes sparkling as he looked at everyone's Pokemon through the screen, "I wish I could get my Pokemon and go on a real adventure,"

"Why don't you, you live in Kanto right?" one of his classmates said.

Another nodded, "Yeah, unlike us you're actually allowed to go on your adventure we all need to wait a bit more,"

"Well I live on an island and I don't have a Pokemon," Roy said, scratching the back of his head.

"Well, why don't you ask a Professor to get you one, or your grandfather?"

"Well, in my little village we don't really use Pokeballs for our Pokemon, and we don't even have a Professor all the way out here, plus I don't think my grandfather would approve."

"Well it doesn't hurt to try, you never know," one said

Before Roy could respond the teacher logged on, "Good morning everyone let's get started."

"Yes!" they all said in unison.

A few hours later, classes ended and Roy got up to stretch after having to sit down for so long, he was now free and wondered what he would do now

As he got up he decided to start going to his secret base, but as he was walking he heard the sounds of running and a Pokemon he didn't recognize, he was confused he grew up on this island he knew each Pokemon on this island by name but now he was hearing something new.

He wanted to go investigate especially once the bushes next to him started to rumble, he approached cautiously not knowing what might be coming,

But then as soon as he split the leaves a fire crocodile jumped out in a panic and tackled him in the face knocking them both down.

As Roy was in the dirt a girl, Liko, finally arrived slightly out of breath, "Fuecoco there you are, hmm?"

She looked down and saw that Fuecoco was now sitting on someone, she panicked, "Oh my Arceus! Are you ok!?"

Roy grabbed Fuecoco and sat up putting the croc on his lap, "Yeah I'm fine, but is this Pokemon yours?"

"Oh, well technically no, I guess it would belong to Friede, oh wait you don't know who that is sorry, let me start from the beginning."

Liko cleared her through, "Hello I'm Liko, this little one next to me is my partner Sprigatito, and the Pokemon on your lap is named Fuecoco,"

"Oh hi, well I'm Roy nice to meet you," Roy said getting up, "But what are you doing all the way on my island, I've never seen you before so you're definitely not from around here,"

Liko scratched her head, "Well, that's kinda a long story, but I guess you can say we got stuck here for a bit."

Roy nodded, "I see, well then I guess it can't be helped, do you know your way back?"

Liko froze for a moment and looked down at Sprigatito who also shook her head, "That's…no actually I have no idea where we are…"

Roy chuckled, "Alright then, if you want I can help you,"

"Really," Liko's eyes lit up. "You'd do that,"

"Yeah sure, but just as long as your friends can let me see their Pokemon too!" Roy said excitedly.

Liko thought to herself for a moment, "I don't see why that would be a problem, I mean everyone is really nice so sure,"

Roy fistbumped the air, "Alright, then let's go!"

But as soon as Roy turned to start moving a Corviknight landed in front of them with a loud crash, and on top of it stood a familiar boy that made Liko instinctively gulp, Amethio.

Roy looked confused, "Is this one of your friends?"

"No, no not at all, this guy is bad news!" Liko said

Roy got into a more defensive position as Amethio jumped off and walked towards them, "Take it easy, you know what I want, come quietly and this can be over, you were so close last time, and now there are no interruptions."
