{At the ship}

Friede was sitting down watching Orla work, he wasn't well versed in this, he's a researcher for goodness sake so he couldn't do anything,

Meanwhile, Mollie and Murdock returned to the ship to try to help the Pokemon that may have been rattled during the sudden landing.

Ludlow…..well Ludlow was actually quite calm.

Friede was watching Orla work, "So how's it looking?"

"Not great, the internal gas bag is ruptured from the storm, seriously Friede when you drive us into storms you need to tell us," Orla said rubbing her eyes in frustration,

Friede frowned and gave a rare serious expression, "Orla, I know I might do crazy things, but not this time that wasn't me, I didn't drive us into a storm."

Orla was about to dismiss Friede since usually when he would say this he was joking but once she saw his serious expression she dropped it, "Well, whatever the reason we don't have enough raw materials to repair the ship,"

Friede crossed his arms, "Hmm, well if we needed to I could make a run with Charizard over to the nearest city that would sell those materials,"

"How long would that take?"

"Probably….most of the day, if not tomorrow morning just to get the supplies, not even counting how long to get back, but that is looking like our only option," Friede said, crossing his arms, "That or traveling by sea,"

Then Mollie walked out, "Not to mention that crash caused a lot of the medical supplies we had to fall and break, and I had to use some to help the Pokemon that got hurt,"

"WHAT!!" Murdock's voice came out of the kitchen as everyone rushed in, "What's wrong, our food supplies end up getting destroyed too!" Friede asked

"No, it's Dot," Murdock said as he turned around holding an empty jar, "She's been eating the Pokéblocks again, I keep telling her that she shouldn't,"

Everyone felt themselves sweet, "But isn't that a good thing? She's eating something now, besides, aren't those just made from berries?"

"No not at all, it's still Pokemon food!" Murdock yelled, "Ever since she found out that they are basically better-tasting nutrition supplements she just started eating them!"

Friede and Mollie sighed helplessly and looked at each other, but it was broken up when suddenly they heard Orla yell, "Guys we have some company, it's the Explorers!"

Friede, Murdock, and Mollie quickly ran out and looked over the railings seeing 2 Skarmory in the sky while on top 2 familiar explorers were on top smiling as they closed in on their position.

Friede frowned realizing something, "There's only 2 of them, where's their boss Amethio?" but then he realized something, "He's after Liko!"

"What do we do, we can't fly and even if we did Liko is still on the island!" Orla said as she looked at Friede for an answer.

Friede started to grit his teeth, "Murdock, Mollie you guys get down and go after Liko and keep her safe, Orla retract all the hooks and take us into the water, I'll take care of these two so they don't cause more damage,"

Everyone nodded and did what they were told, Friede meanwhile had Cap come out and have him hop on as he jumped into Charizard, but before he flew off he looked back,

"Ludlow take the ship to sea!" Friede said as he flew up into the sky.

Ludlow looked up slowly, he took a deep breath, and went back into the bridge taking control of the boat version of the ship, after all this was still originally his ship no matter how many modifications Orla made.

So as the ship hit water, Murdock and Mollie got off the ship and onto the sand while Ludlow started to sail into this ship to safety.

Amethio was slowly approaching Liko and Roy, Corviknight was already out and he brought Ceruledge out just for good measure, he wanted all chances of escape or help to be exactly 0,

"All you must do is come with me, then all of this will be over…" Amethio said.

Liko gulped and clutched her pendant, "Roy run, I'll try and hold him off for you!"

"What? No way why would you even say that," Roy said his eyes never leaving Amethio,

"You don't have a Pokemon so you can't defend yourself, I do, I can hold him off," Liko said as Sprigatito jumped forward.

Roy clenched his teeth, he knew he was useless here, he didn't have a Pokemon to fight with, he had no way to help and the only thing he did have was a Fuecoco that was just as scared looking at everything.

"Last time was a fluke, nothing more than you taking advantage of my weakened Ceruledge, it will not happen again now that that trainer isn't here," Amethio said as Ceruledge dashed up next to him brandishing

Liko gulped as she could see Roy taking a few steps back, "You're right, I know I can't beat you, but that doesn't mean I can't stall you for a bit!"

Amethio frowned, "A pitiful attempt, very well if you insist on prolonging this pointless encounter then, Ceruledge take care of them,"

Ceruledge's eyes lit up as he dashed forward with his blades burning bright blue and he approached and swung down at Sprigatito.

And then all of Liko's bravery immediately drained from her face, "Sprigatito!!"

But then just before Ceruledge's blade could reach Sprigatito, a Pikachu came up and used an [Iron Tail] to clash with Ceruledge for a moment before starting to overpower the ghost armor and kicking it back.

Everyone was taken aback, Liko and Amethio immediately thought that it was Captain Pikachu without his hat so they were wondering if Friede was there, but then Amethio felt an elbow on his shoulder.

On his shoulder, Ash was leaning on him looking down both at him, figuratively and literally, "Wow, so you're that kinda guy, the ones that only feel good about themselves when they bully People they know are weaker than them,"

Amethio's eyes twitched and Liko's lit up both for the same reason, Ash is here.

Amethio clenched his teeth and pushed Ash away, "Ceruledge!"

Ceruledge understood and rushed over aiming to this time slash at Ash with those blades, but Ash just smiled and snapped his finger.

From the side, Charizard came and before Ceruledge could even reach Ash's Charizard grabbed the armor by the face and slammed it into the dirt below causing the ground beneath them to shake as he used a [Earthquake] point blank.

Ceruledge was badly hurt but still up as it struggled to try and get up but Charizard came over and stomped down on the chest piece of the armor sending it deeper into the ground.

Amethio frowned further and returned Ceruledge before immediately throwing it out again to get him back up, while he quickly put distance between himself and Ash.

"You…. why are you here…why must you ruin everything," Amethio said with a scowl

Ash smiled as he walked forward and stood next to Charizard, "Well, I heard you were here bullying the weak, that's no good I'm the only one that gets to do that."

Liko, who now had Sprigatito in her arms, looked up at Ash, "Ash! You're here, but how?"

Ash smiled, "Well here I was enjoying my vacation when I saw a ship fall out of the sky, I get closer and I found you here in danger again, you really are troublesome,"

As Liko got flustered at that, Roy looked at Ash's back and felt like that name was familiar. He also looked down and saw that Fuecoco was looking at not Ash, but Charizard with sparkles in his eyes.

"No matter, my compatriots have probably taken care of your other group, they may not be able to win but they at least have caused damage to the ship," Amethio said.

"Actually, no, you didn't really think I would be stupid enough to know that your goons I beat the bricks off last time aren't with you, I left a few friends there to take care of it," Ash said as Pikachu ran up and jumped back on Ash's shoulder.

When he did that, Roy realized something, he didn't get to watch the Indigo League all the way out here, but one of his classmates talked about it.

This year was exceptionally cool with all sorts of cool trainers but the one that won this year was a boy, he had a ton of Pokemon but his 2 most cool were his Pikachu and Charizard, along with his red and white outfit and red hat he stood out in more ways than one, especially since he was the same age as them.

The champion of this year's Indigo League was a boy named Ash Ketchum, and that boy was now standing in front of him.

{Back on the ship}

Zirc and Onia were fighting off Friede, they had no thought of winning but they were using 2 Pokemon that had an advantage against Charizard, a Rhydon and Golduck, but even with that they weren't winning.

But that was fine with them, they were confident that by now Amethio had retrieved the pendant so they just needed a chase to escape as well.

Onia smiled, "Skarmory now, go for the ship!"

The Skarmory that belonged to her cawed and rushed past Friede and Charizard who were preoccupied with the other Pokemon.

As Friede saw Skarmory go after the ship he panicked, "NO, everyone!"

But before anyone could react, suddenly from the water a red Gyarados shot out and bit down on Skarmory before then spitting the Metal bird back onto the beach.

As everyone recovered from that they heard another Pokemon cry, as they looked they saw a Lapras with a Clefairy on her back, as Lapras sent a [Ice Beam] at the feet of Rhydon and Golduck freezing them on the ground.

Then Clefairy used a [Gravity] to send the Skarmory onto the ground, along with Zirc and Onia, as everyone watching looked on in surprise. But then knew that these Pokemon were here to help them, and seeing the red Gyarados they knew who it was,

Ash was also on this island and if he was here then they didn't need to fear, Friede jumped on Charizard and looked at those left on the ship, "I'm going in, even if 'he's' here Liko might still be in danger,"

Orla nodded, "Alright we'll go, we'll send you the meeting point oh your phone, get out of here,"

Friede nodded as he put on his goggles and went to the sky.

Back with Ash Charizard was dealing with Ceruledge as Ash walked up approaching Amethio with the same cockyness that he had when he approached Liko and Roy.

"What's wrong, didn't you threaten me saying that it wasn't the last I'd heard of you, that I'd regret ever crossing paths with you," Ash said as Amethio was now the one taking a step back.

Amethio still clenched his teeth, "Why do you insist so much on going against us, you do not know the things you mess with,"

Ash rolled his eyes and got real close, "Save it for someone who cares, and if your 3rd rate villain group wants to come after me, then let them come and let them try, after all if they're anything like you then they're all weaklings,"

Amethio's brows furrowed, "Don't you dare talk about them like that,"

"Struck a nerve there, didn't I?" Ash said as he leaned in, "Or what? Do I need to give you a recreation of last time," he said as he cracked his knuckle.

Amethio frowned but realized something, Ash was here and his Charizard was dealing with Ceruledge so he chose to take advantage, "Corviknight grab the girl!"

Corviknight, who for the most part stayed out of this even flying into the sky to avoid being seen, went into a dive bomb and approached Liko, but of course Ash knew about Corviknight and he didn't panic.

As Corviknight came in with its talons stretched out ready to grab Liko, Liko panicked and grabbed her pendant, "Come on work again, please work!"

When Liko did that her pendant started glowing again, but this time the Pokeball that Roy keeps with him at all times also started to glow, but surprisingly that's not all, the ring on Ash's hand turned on its own stopping on a symbol of Mew before glowing along with them.

Ash showed genuine surprise as he watched everything happening along with everyone else, as the light glowed brighter.

Amethio covered his eyes, "What is this, another barrier…no this is different,"

As they saw this, the Pokeball Roy had opened for the first time in 100 years it opened and a large imposing figure shot out into the sky,

And when the light dispersed flying in the air looking down on them was the strongest of the ancient Six Heroes, Black Rayquaza came out with a brilliant shine along its body.

As everyone saw this Ash looked down on his ring and now next to the Mew image a new one appeared, an ancient image of Rayquaza.
