“Sure, but I on one condition.”
“You’re asking for payment from a crippled person with nothing to their name?” Chen Hua couldn’t help but let out a shout in disbelief.. Ignoring the fact that Cheng Yu had already allowed Chen Hua to freeload at his house, Chen Hua felt that Cheng Yu was a really selfish and heartless person. This guy should really be more compassion and helping of others in need! Such as myself!
“Of course I am! There’s no such thing as a free lunch in this world.” Pulling out a folder from a drawer the same way a magician pulls a rabbit out of his hat, Cheng Yu casually took out a document and an inkpad. Placing them on the table in front of Chen Hua.
“Since you can’t possibly sign for anything, I’ll require your thumbprint instead, I’ll also pay you ¥5,000,000 once you’ve helped me out. It’s stated in the contract. Please look through the details and let me know if there’s any problem.”
¥5,000,000! This guy really knows how to sweeten the pot! That would be about 30 years worth of my salary and I won’t have to pay income tax for it! “Where do you need my thumbprint? Right here? No problem!” Chen Hua happily slapped his thumbprint onto the designated area without hesitation.
“You didn’t look over the contract.”
“It’s fine, it’s fine!” For ¥5,000,000, I’d even sell you one of my kidneys! Chen Hua’s heart was bursting with glee as he shook Cheng Yu’s hand.
Looking at Cheng Yu in the eyes, Chen Hua commanded,“Now then! Take me to YueDan Entertainment’s building!”
“Oh? But, I don’t think it’s convenient for you to leave the care of my maids. It's far too early. Moreover, both of your legs are broken, I’ll bring you there when you’ve regained your mobility.” Cheng Yu logically reasoned.
“I-I... don’t know why but I know that I need to go there right now!” Chen Hua’s lowered his eyes and stroked his head, as though he was suffering from a migraine while thinking why he needed to go there.
Cheng Yu continued staring at him without making a sound. But Chen Hua was certain that Cheng Yu just needed one more push. Who could possibly not feel compassion from a cute amnesiac with broken legs? If you didn’t help them, they might think of crawling to where they want to go instead! Muhahaha! This plan of mine is perfect!

Injecting a hint of pure sadness and desperation into his voice that was already choking with emotions, Chen Hua pitifully begged Cheng Yu as though he was on the brink of tears. “Mr.Cheng Yu, please… It’s a matter of utmost importance! I have to go!”
Cheng Yu stroked his chin while deep in thought, before agreeing to Chen Hua's plea. "Although I'll bring you there eventually. I suppose going there right now should be fine."
Thinking that his acting was deserving of an Oscar. Chen Hua was comfortably sitting in Cheng Yu’s car, well on his way to retrieve his ‘sacred treasures’ while wearing Hello Kitty pyjamas.
…
YueDan Entertainment was where Chen Hua previously used to work. The company was a talent agency that handled movie, music and television productions, entertainment advertising and artist management and training.
Youths chasing their dreams all yearned to be few handpicked talents from the company to be groomed into national superstars. Of course, there was a very good reason as to why YueDan Entertainment was their first choice.
It was simply because YueDan Entertainment had 100% of their talents rising to superstar status! Being chosen to be groomed by them would mean that your path to becoming famous was set in stone! YueDan Entertainment’s success was known to everyone in the entertainment industry!
...
At YueDan’s Entertainment building, Chen Hua quickly dumped Cheng Yu behind and barged into the office in search of his desk.
“Miss, you can’t be here! This is where our employees work! Please leave or I’ll be forced to ask security to escort you out!” The building’s receptionist pleaded Chen Hua, she was unwilling to use physical force on a disabled person. Thus, all she could do was follow Chen Hua around while pleading with Chen Hua.
From the corner of Chen Hua’s eye, he saw his desk! All of his memos and personal belonging were still left there! Chen Hua quickly made his way there, wheelchair ablazing and everything.
“Ah, Miss! You shouldn’t touch those! Secur-”
Fortunately, before the receptionist could call for security, Cheng Yu had already caught up with Chen Hua. “Ah, Mrs Wang, there’s no problem in letting her do what she wants, she’s with me.”
“Mr.Lin! I’ll go back to the front desk and do my job then.” The receptionist quickly gave a full 90-degree bow before hastily leaving.
To preserve one’s desk job, there are two things to do! Number one, respectfully greet them at all times! Number two, don’t ask too many questions! And the receptionist did exactly that and successfully preserved her job!
By this point, everyone working in the office had stood from their seats to observe the commotion.
“What’s that handicapped girl doing?”
“Isn’t that Chen Hua’s desk? Wasn’t he the one who passed away in a car accident?”
“Who’s that behind her? Oh my god! Isn’t that Mr.Lin Cheng Yu, our CEO?”
Despite the murmurings from the crowd that had gathered, Chen Hua had booted up his office computer with only a single objective on his mind: Preserve those videos!
