The next day was upon the forest and animals were starting their new day after resting in the night. But there was another one who had woken up from his slumber. Krish opened his eyes his head hurting and stomach growling. He hugged his head trying to soothe his pain. He looked beside him, a dead body of an animal and a half-eaten human. The human body had started to decay and the stench coming from it was unbearable. But the dead animal looked like a prospect to Krish. He began salivating at the thought of its tender meat. He took out the knife from his pocket and stabbed the animal's body cutting its thick hide. Under it was the meat of the animal. Krish wasn't able to control himself after being starved for days. He ate the meat raw. It was not what he had in his mind but anything right now would be a blessing for him.

Krish stopped after eating at least half the animal in just fifteen minutes. He lay on his back as even breathing became difficult because he was so full. Still, there was a bloody smile of contentment on his face. His hands were all red due to blood. Even his legs were drenched in blood. Thinking of this Krish jumped back up surprised.

He clearly remembered that his leg was cut off, but now it was as good as new. Was this due to the regeneration ability it gained from that animal? He was shocked thinking that the ability was this powerful. He thought it would only heal his wounds but this was unexpected.

He was happy that he had this good ability and thought about getting out of the forest as quickly as possible. He had last seen Riana fighting those guys which meant they had taken her. But that Alcaz could still be somewhere looking for him or so he thought.

He picked up some meat from the animal and the clothes which were left on the rotting human body. He also picked up the mask and went to the river to wash them. When he was done he started walking by the river as it was where his destination finally was.

He had just walked for a few minutes before his stomach started hurting pretty bad to the point he was not able to move. The raw meat was showing its reaction. He started vomiting out all the food he had eaten. After that, he sat for a while to catch his breath. His whole body was convulsing because of the amount he had thrown out of his body. He started feeling cold all of a sudden, maybe caught a fever. In this new world, most of the old diseases didn't affect the evolved ones but to ordinary humans, it was still deadly to catch diseases.

He looked around himself to find a spot to rest for the day. He found one place and started a fire. He made some soup for the remaining meat and rested hoping for the best.
