Health Points: 7 per point of Constitution => 8

Health Regeneration: 1.4 HP per point of Constitution => 1.6

Stamina Points: 14 SP per point of Endurance => 15

Stamina Regeneration: 1.4 per point of Endurance => 1.5

Mana Points: 10 per point of Intelligence => 15

Mana Regeneration: 10 per point of Wisdom => 15

Seeing all the changes to his stats, Darius opened his Status window and looked over the results. He saw that he had twelve attribute points available to be spent, but he moved past that to look at his Health, Stamina, and Mana pools. He saw that he'd gained an extra sixteen health and seventeen Stamina, but what really snagged his attention was his new Mana pool. "Damn, my Mana pool doubled. Shit, just imagine what I can conjure now." He also noted that the free attribute points from getting his advanced class had automatically been allocated, which explained why his Intelligence and Wisdom were both sitting at fifteen. Of all the changes his class brought, his magical abilities seemed to have grown the most.

"Wait, if I have twelve free Attributes to spend, that means I should also have twelve more Upgrade Points for my Power armor." feeling excited at getting more upgrades, he looked around. Not noticing any threats in his immediate surroundings, he dove into the upgrade system.

Reminder Notification: Upgrade Navigation when you have more Upgrade Points available.

"Oh, right. I did ask you to remind me, thanks Pax." not wanting to forget, Darius selected the Navigation system upgrade section and read through it.

Navigation Program:

Embark on your missions with confidence using the Navigation Program. This cutting-edge software provides a seamless mapping system that combines a compact mini-map, offering real-time enemy and resource indicators, with a fully rendered main map. As you explore uncharted territories, the main map expands, revealing new areas and invaluable intel. With precise navigation and up-to-date information, this program becomes your trusty guide in unfamiliar terrain.

Computation Point Cost per Tier: 1 CP

Navigation Software Upgrades

Tier 0: Basic Compass

Displays a simple compass on the H.U.D., indicating the cardinal directions to assist with basic orientation.

Tier 1: Mini-map

Provides a small minimap display on the H.U.D., showing nearby terrain, landmarks, and the position of allies and enemies within a 20ft radius.

Tier 2: Basic Mapping

Introduces a basic map overlay on the H.U.D., allowing the pilot to view a larger area and mark important locations manually.

Tier 3: Localized Mapping

Expands the minimap range to a 50ft radius, providing a more extensive view of the immediate surroundings and highlighting nearby points of interest.

"I only have the basic compass for now. The first upgrade gives me a minimap. As useful as I'm sure that is, it's not really enough. Basic Mapping though, that should get me what I need without spending all of my points on one thing. I still need to upgrade my Mana systems, too." Nodding to himself, Darius went ahead and spent three upgrade points to purchase the first two tiers of Navigation.

Next, Darius upgraded both the Mana Capacity and the Mana Regeneration to rank 2 each for a total of four upgrade points. Darius also upgraded the Conjuration specialty upgrade, bringing his Eidolon Hardpoints from two to five. With three Upgrade Points left, Darius remembered how annoying it was that he couldn't zoom in at all, so he dropped one point into the Visual Sensor, giving him a basic 2x zoom function. He also noticed his targeting software was still rank zero, and with his new weapons, using targeting, he upgraded it as well.

With one point remaining, Darius considered upgrading other software or sensors, but nothing called out to him as being really necessary, so instead of wasting his point on something, he decided to save it so he could get a more expensive upgrade later. With that decision made, Darius finalized his upgrades.

Error: Insufficient Computational Points available for Software Upgrades. Upgrade Computation System to proceed.

I apologize, Darius. these upgrades require 46 CP and we only have 40 CP available. Upgrading the Power Armor's Computation Power will cost two Upgrade Points and will increase the Computation Point maximum to sixty.

"God damn, mother fucking… shit!" Darius swore. it wasn't directed at Pax, but rather at himself. He'd been so focused on the upgrades he'd wanted, but didn't pay any attention to their requirements. Still swearing and berating himself under his breath, he looked over what he could do without so he could get one more upgrade point. he needed the navigation if he was going to be flying around the area. He also couldn't do without the increased mana and mana regeneration. if he didn't upgrade the Eidolon hard points, then he wouldn't be able to equip everything he wanted… that left the Vision Sensor and the targeting software. He thought for a moment, then had a brilliant idea. What if I create a Utility Eidolon that could function as a visual amplifier? then I can skip that upgrade and maybe get something with better magnification… yeah, let's do that. Canceling the Visual Sensor Upgrade, he used his two available upgrade points to increase Computation Power to Tier two. he, once again, finalized his choices. This time it worked.

Familiar with this process now, Darius waited patiently as his view screen went dark for a moment. After about a minute, the screen lit back up and the boot sequence ran through its process. Various technical lines scrolled down as the Diagnostics did their thing, checking every system. One by one, each system lit up green. Once everything had been checked, the main system booted up and his normal H.U.D. populated with one new addition. In the bottom right corner of the screen was a translucent map showing all of his surroundings in real time. It wasn't very detailed, but it had icons representing the buildings, little white dots where each of the dead Kobolds were and green dots where the people inside the church were gathering their things. There was even a color-coded legend on the side that let him know that white was neutral, or in the case of the Kobolds, neutralized creatures, green was friendly, yellow was a potential threat, and red was reserved for enemies.

Moving on to his Attribute points, he considered what he should do with them. Based on what he'd read from his new Advanced Class description and the Attribute bonuses it gave, he figured that it was more important to increase his Dexterity and his mental stats than it would be to increase his Strength. Even after the bonus attributes from his class, he only had a fourteen in his Dexterity; so, he put four points into it, bringing it up to eighteen. Not wanting his mental stats to stay behind, especially with their new importance, he placed three in each as well, leaving him with two points remaining. After careful consideration, he put the remaining points into Agility, bringing it to eighteen as well.

Looking over his finalized attributes, Darius remembered something Ethan had said about min/maxing his stats to get the most out of everything. Briefly, he wondered if he did something wrong with his attributes. Everything but his constitution and endurance were at eighteen, and they were only a little behind, sixteen and seventeen respectively. Everything seemed pretty well balanced out, but he did worry that he was spreading his points out a too thinly. He shrugged away the worry. It's better to be balanced than lopsided any day. I mean, just look at them body builders. They're all strength and no agility. I bet they can’t even wipe their own ass with how bulky they are.

Now that all of Darius's points had been spent, he took some time to go over all of his status screens while he absently collected all the loot from the lizard assholes. he let all the loot just go straight into the storage built into his suit.
