The sound of someone running could be heard in the forest.

Its steps were of joy and excitement and were light.

If you look from far away, you could see a silhouette running through the woods, and if you look closely enough, it was actually a beautiful young lady with a heroic look moving through the woods.

It was Winter Snow.

Winter Snow was feeling erratic.

She couldn't contain the excitement that she was feeling right now. The thought of meeting a dragon filled her head so much that she couldn't think about anything else.

The more she neared the place, the more clear the sounds coming from the direction she was heading were. And to be precise, the sounds that I was referring to were the screams and explosions in the area.

And finally, she caught up at the scene.

What she saw was utter chaos.

It was full of destruction everywhere. Blood, dust, dirt, and gore were everywhere and it defiled her eyes with nowhere to hide.

But Winter Snow didn't mind it. She was more focused on staring at the humongous dragon above the sky.

"Woah~ so that's a dragon?

"It looks so majestic." Winter Snow said in appreciation and twinkling eyes.

FeelingAwesome123 happened to be nearby and heard what Winter Snow said. His eyes twitched crazily and his lips turned into a wry smile as he looked at her.

He thought, "What's up with this crazy b*tch?"

Winter Snow felt someone was staring at her and so she turned around and saw FeelingAwesome123 staring at her like she was some crazy weirdo.

Winter Snow and FeelingAwesome123 stared at each other for a moment and thought.

'What's up with this heavily injured old man looking at me like a weirdo...'

'The hell is this crazy weirdo staring at?'

"Hmph." Winter Snow turned her head around and ignored FeelingAwesome123.

FeelingAwesome123’s lips twitched.

FeelingAwesome123 was just about to rebuke her for her rude behavior when suddenly, they noticed something was off about the dragon.

It stopped and turned to look below its surroundings.

“Hm?” Winter Snow and FeelingAwesome123 blurted “Hm” in unison

'It... seems to be looking for something?' Winter Snow and FeelingAwesome123's thoughts coincide with each other.

After looking for a while and pondering about something, the dragon turned to look at a mountain that was not far away from where it was. It then proceeded to go there.

Winter Snow and FeelingAwesome123 looked at the dragon leaving and heading toward a nearby mountain.

They turned to look at each other.

"I wouldn't go after it if I were you," FeelingAwesome123 said.

"Why not? And plus, you wouldn't even be able to walk with that many injuries on you even if you wanted to go." Winter Snow roasted him.

FeelingAwesome123's lips twitched as he heard what she said.

He angrily looked at her and said, “Who said I wanted to go after it? Are you crazy? You must be out of your mind!”

Winter Snow rolled her eyes.

He took a deep breath and calmed himself down before asking, "Do you have any potions or any healing items on you?"

Winter Snow replied, "Yeah, I have some. Why? You want it?"

"Du- Ahem, yes I would love to have them. Can you spare some for me?" FeelingAwesome123 held himself from answering her bluntly and begged.

"...Did I hear wrongly or were you about to say duh?" Winter Snow asked with a teasing smile as she narrowed her eyes.

"No, of course not! I wouldn't be so rude to say that to a beautiful young lady!" FeelingAwesome123 hurriedly responded.

"Oh, is that so?"

"Yes, yes!" FeelingAwesome123 nodded repeatedly.

"Did you take me for a fool? Since you aren't being honest, goodbye!" Winter Snow rolled her eyes and turned around to leave.

"Wait! I'm sorry, please forgive me." FeelingAwesome123 begged for forgiveness.

"Oh, so you do admit you were about to say duh, am I right?" Winter Snow said as she looked at him at the corner of her eyes with a sneer.

"...Yes," FeelingAwesome123 confessed.

"I had fun teasing you. Here." Winter Snow threw an item at him.

FeelingAwesome123 caught it with his left hand and looked at it.

It was a bandage.

"You only have a bandage?" FeelingAwesome123 slightly frowned and said in dissatisfaction.

"What? Do you have a problem with it? Give it back then." Winter Snow demanded.

"No, no, it's all good!" FeelingAwesome123 hurriedly applied the bandage to his injuries, afraid that she would take it if he was any slower.

"Hurry up, I want to go now." Winter Snow looked at him with impatience.

"Huh?" FeelingAwesome123 felt confused, "What do you mean by that?" FeelingAwesome123 asked as he felt something was wrong.

"Don't tell me...! Are you gonna take me along with you?" FeelingAwesome123 asked with fright as he looked at her like she was a ghost.

"Of course, I'm gonna take you along with me, that's compensation for taking my bandage." Winter Snow smiled, "Unless, you have money to pay for it. Do you even have any?"

FeelingAwesome123 was speechless by her shamelessness.

To think that he was scammed by this gal!

FeelingAwesome123 thought his luck couldn't get any worse.

"Hurry up and stop dilly-dallying!" Winter Snow shouted.

FeelingAwesome123 could only go along with her and hurry up. To begin with, he didn't have a choice in the first place, because if he were to resist in his current state, he would just get beaten up and be dragged around by her, so he gave up and resigned to his fate.

FeelingAwesome123 quickly finished bandaging himself and healed up a bit of his HP, just enough for him to be able to run around.

"Let's go." Winter Snow said.

FeelingAwesome123 could only shake his head in helplessness as he followed her.

The nearby mountain. Hidden cave.

Lyn was snuggling himself when all of a sudden, he felt something huge appear above the sky. Lyn shuddered as he remembered this feeling and knew exactly what it was. It was the dragon.

The dragon was lurking above the mountain. It just lurked around. Somehow, it was able to track Lyn's general location but seemed to not be able to pinpoint his exact location.

Lyn kept his mouth shut and held his breath and just waited.

'Please go away, I beg you!'

At this point, he couldn't help but shed a tear.
