The classes continued. As usual Ben attended the classes normally. He was an average student. Not too bright, nor too stupid. His full name was Benjamin John. Things continued. Let us start with the first rank, The Martial Knight. That is the first rank which you attain with the implantation of meridian seed or martial seed as we call it. It is a painful and uncomfortable process. When the seed is implanted it starts to burrow into you, making it painful. Once that phase is done the formation of meridians will start to sense energy from outside making you dizzy. The formation of meridians may take 1-2 weeks. The more the time taken, the better.

The purpose of this class is to make you ready for the implantation both physically and mentally. We will do physical exercises, pain threshold simulations, meditations, and affinity test. All these will be done for 1 year and after your 18th birthday the implantation process will be done. The process can be done by private parties as well through government agencies. If you do it through government you will get a loan which needs to be repaid in 10 years. The first 5 years are without any interest. Starting from the 6th year interest will be charged. The interest rate will depend on your aptitude and affinities. The private parties can charge the procedure however they like. It can be in the form of money or in the form of services for a particular period. If you depend on private agencies, check their credibility extensively.
The important thing that you should consider is your affinity. Select the meridian seed only according to your affinity. Affinity will also be checked during the training sessions. The affinity can be to the five elements, light or radiation, flora, and fauna etc.
There are cases where people don’t have any affinities at all. Don’t disregard such people. They often become ‘Yogi’s or people who can manipulate their body and mind at their will. Such martial artists have a difficult path ahead. But once they reach the Martial Lord rank, they are a force to be reckoned with. Neither poison nor mental illusions work on such people.
