I jumped into a crevasse in the ground that led to my target.
I spent months traveling through a complex cave system to get here the first time around, but this is much easier, and faster.
'Crack'
the sound of my legs breaking revamped throughout the dark cave.
As I waited for my legs to heal and my eyes to get used to the darkness the ground shack s as large silhouette enters my field of view.
A tall humanoid monster with green skin, long arms and legs, and long unkempt heir.
A troll, a monster with the strongest regenerative ability.
Well that's convenient, you saved me the trouble of going to look for you.
It walks until I'm in arms reach for it,lowering its head to stare at me.
I stare back.
Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
"…"
"…"
I try to use my magic on it, but it subconsciously resists.
As expected,I'm still a far way from controlling monsters, especially high leveled ones like a troll.
Sensing my 'attack' the troll responded by swinging its club at me sending me flying to the wall.
Ouch,that hurts.
Seeing me motionless, the troll cautiously gets closer, only after making sure I'm dead did it drop its guard down.
I immediately attackrd it on the knee with my weapon.
A pointy rock.
Of course it wasn't any rock,it's a special magic rock, otherwise it wouldn't be able to pierce the trolls skin.
I fiddle the rock around to open the wound, which spued blood all over me ,which was my goal.
A trolls blood cared the same property as its owner, and drinking it or being engulfed it would heal most wounds, even amputated limbs can be replaced, it worked like a fantasy health potion.
The troll recoiled in shock as my body healed,by the time I got up it already ran away.
Well killing it wasn't my goal to begin with, not that I could.
I looked to the ground covered on troll blood, the reason I came here.
With a few swift moves,I use my rock to cut out one of my ribs and the surrounding chunks of flesh, before throwing it in the blood.
The rib absorbed the troll's blood like a sponge,as it began growing larger and larger with skin and bones forming, when it finally stopped the results were-
An abomination that died instantly as it couldn't breath.
So I repeated the process.
Not it.
Again.
Still no.
And again.
I eventually run out of troll blood and had to get some more.
This is going to take forever.
