I crawled and crawled and crawled through the afterlife looking for something, Anything.
There was nothing but darkness that thickly enveloped everything . The only sense of direction I held was feeling , but that didn’t help much in the infinite void.
After a while ,all of the bells were replaced by the sounds of voices once again.
The only difference was that no one was asking to be saved . Now I could hear the individual voices more clearly. Though it wasn’t so much the voices I could hear , but images of their lives. It was hard to explain but their souls carried fragmented memories of their prior existence in the overworld and thus I could see fractions of millions of lives.
Usually nothing too significant , either images of their childhood or War, death, love and all the things that made a person's life uniquely their own flashed before my eyes . A full spectrum of emotions assaulted my senses and I began crying again.
Yes i am a crybaby but to be fair I'm not that far off from an actual baby. Thoughts of weakness almost slipped back into my mind but this time I was able to easily ward them off.

No, no victims here and I was getting used to the dark becoming more tolerable as I carried forward on.
As I moved , eventually the darkness cleared and I found myself standing on an orange colored hillside in front of 3 graves and one tombstone. The graves each had statues of angels on them and in the midst of them was the tombstone.
This tombstone was empty ,bar from a few differently colored roses.
“Autumn” I heard my name echo throughout in a sweet summer voice .
Eeek! My assumption of this place being vacant was wrong. Though that begged the question was i really dead?
Hesitantly I Turned around and saw something I never expected to. It was that woman, from all the years back . Missing her usual crown she had a ,white dress ,golden eyes , and brown skin. Beauty, grace and sophistication all packed into a womanly bundle.
“I have been watching you “ she said with a haunting smile creeping across her face
Something told me that she wasn’t an enemy or I was misreading the situation. Either way I had very little to lose.
Scraping up my courage I demand the woman identify herself “w-w- WHO Are .. you? “
Her energy was a contradiction . Her smile was only made terrifying with the backdrop of pure darkness behind her.
"What am I? Who am i? Who really knows," she replied cryptically, her voice soft as if she didn’t want to scare away a kitten. After some deliberation she said “ I'm only 8 years old , just like you.”
“So… if i had to guess , I am you Autumn “
