Descending down to the ground like a plague was none other then Azazel. The Fallen who gave birth to three special children. His feet touched the ground softly while his wings folded close along his back. Covering his body was a black robe with a hood leaving parts of his face in darkness.
When the tension eased up he moved his thick fingers to grip the hood, sliding it back to reveal his face and his strands of dirty blonde hair. His expression was that of a bored child who was proud to see how far the characters had advance in the story.
His striking crimson red eyes stared at the two before examining his son's handy work with Isamu. The man was completely severed in two with no mercy shown to him. This caused Azazel to release a smile filled with evil.
"Well done. That's what I like to see." He complimented his son much to his dismay. He stood about 10 feet from the them, yet it was as if he was standing next to them this entire time. His voice just traveled in a strange fashion.
As soon as he lifted a single foot to approach them Terios' voice was heard. "Don't come any closer! I'm warning you!" Terios' voice was cold towards his biological father; completely engulfed with hostility.
"Don't be foolish. It won't make a difference where I am things will still occur as I planned." Azazel chuckled lightly before continuing. "Why don't you tell him how you're really on my side, Akari."
What is he talking about?
Terios moved his head to look down at his sister who remained silent from his accusation. It had to be a lie to confuse him, yet it was working. Slowly, he felt his trust with Akari breaking. "Akari, what's he talking about?"
"…" Akari was as silent as a statue, refusing to respond to anyone.
"You see the plan was, after you finished with Isamu, to make Akari betray you. Seeing your own sister stab you in the back would have really set you off. But, things change and new ideas surfaced."
"She would never stab me in the back. She's the one who helped me get this far. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't be able to defeat Isamu."
"Teri-kun..." She whispered softly.
"Akari. As your father I want you to kill Terios. Or, I'll kill both of you right now."
Their eyes widened at his words. Terios was ready to face his father, but in his current condition, after using the Shadow Stalker technique his body needs time to recover. Using it again would be completely out of the question for him.
"You don't have to listen to this bastard. I'm here to deal with him now." He said while taking a stand.
"Don't make me laugh. In your current state you have no chance of beating me. Even with her help at best you'd tickle me."
"I don't care. I'm not going to play your game any longer!"
He's right, defeating him is impossible. Running away to fight another day isn't. Seeing how strong he is wouldn't hurt either.
Terios charged at him, clenching his blade in hand as he moved his blade in an upright movement. Slicing through the wind the weapon was met with skin that seemed hardened like metal. A clang sound was heard, but there was indication that his attack was effective.
"Huh?" Terios looked surprised at how powerless he was compared to his father.
Crashing into his face was one of Azazel's tainted wing, sending him sliding back through the ground. The attack made him feel dizzy for awhile, causing him to drop to his knee. His hand laid flat against the dirt of the ground.
Just as I thought. He's on a whole other level than me. Fighting him now would be suicide.
"You lack a choice in this matter. I'll spare both of your life if you grant me a simple wish." As he talked he stretched both of his palms out which were soon engulfed within dark flames of the lost. Listening in closely one could hear the screams of all the people he's burned with this technique.
"What do you want?" Terios asked.
"I'm glad you chose to listen. I want revenge son. On the Angels who threw me to rot on this hellhole. They took away what rightfully belongs to me. A place in Heaven."
"Didn't you do that on your own?"
"No. I developed a mind of my own and for this I was punished by being cast down upon the Earth to learn a lesson about humanity. A god dwelling with mortals is a joke of a punishment. From a joke of a God. Omnipotent is an ability we all wished to acquire, but everything has a weakness."
The flames from his hands faded slowly along with the wails of the lost. He started to approach his children who were in no condition to resist. Standing besides them he looked down at his offspring. "Angels are the most pathetic creatures. They have feelings they cannot act on or they'll be punished. It makes you think why give us those feelings if we'll be punished for acting out on them?"
"I don't know..."
"I'm trying to open your eyes up son. What do you think the ultimate source of evil is?"
"Why are you asking me this!?"
"ANSWER!" Azazel shouted loud enough that the ground started to crack around them and split apart. A simple example of his power.
"I don't know... the Devil?"
"Hahahaha! You're so naïve. Good and evil aren't terms that need to be used. They're only for self righteous people to label others who they think they're above. Good and evil are coined from the same entity. If the Devil is evil then what does that make the person who conjured him up and allows him to do whatever he pleases?"
"Evil?"
'You can say that. But, he's also good."
"I don't understand."
"He transcends between good and evil, son. Right and wrong are human concepts. He's beyond understanding and beyond those silly concepts. His action is absolute because no one can power him. With power like that you're free to change the way things work."
"Ok, but, where are you getting with all of this?"
"My actions will be considered evil by a lot. But, what is truly evil is having the power to stop me, but allowing me to do as I please. That in my eyes would be the ultimate form of evil, son."
"I swear when I become strong enough, I'll stop you!"
"That'll be ages from now. Until then, I want to return to Heaven. I want to start one last war up there. A war which I'll win and become the ultimate entity of existence."

"You're crazy. That'll never go in your favor." Akari said.
"Maybe. But, it's worth a try. As for what I want you to do young ones." Azazel paused for a minute before chuckling to himself. "I'll tell you later. Just know that you owe me this favor and you have no right to refuse."
After saying this his wings extended and his body slowly started to rise. Whatever it was he wants them to do it isn't anything good. His intentions are clear that he wants to cause the Angels to pay for leaving him behind on this planet.
Holding onto Akari firmly, Terios watched as Azazel ascended above and took off in an instant. With him gone he released a sigh while his sister showed a serious expression.
"What do you think he wants us to do for him?"
"My guess is that he wants us to unlock the four seals." Akari said in a serious tone. The worry in her voice was hard to miss.
"Four seals?"
"The four seals that keep Hell sealed off from our realm. With those broken... the seven high ranking Demons will be able to walk along the Earth." She said in horror.
"We can't let him do that no matter what. We have to stop him before he drags everyone else down with him."
"This problem may be bigger then expected. I suggest that we bring back up."
"I don't want to get my family involved in this."
"Don't worry. The people I had in mind were other Nephilims like us."
"You know others like us?"
"Mhm! I know a few, Teri-kun! You'll like them!" She sounded chipper all of a sudden.
"When am I going to meet them?" He asked nervously.
"Probably by tomorrow, that'll give us some time to rest."
Akari decided that we rest up for the day tomorrow. She took in Jiro and Jirou and allowed them to stay with her family to which Haruki didn't mind that much.
Terios returned home to the Kiyomizu Manor feeling somewhat accomplished. He had completed his promise to Akane, Shiori, and Uubji and now they wouldn't be burdened with guilt. But, there was always something else to do.
Laying against his bed, he stared up at his ceiling, thinking about how everything changed so suddenly. One minute he was just a boy and the next he found out that he was a Nephilim.
As if on cue, Setsuna entered his room.
"Teri-kun..."
"Setsuna?" He said while lifting himself up.
"I know something is going on with you. You've been gone for awhile now and you haven't been going to school."
I completely forgotten about school. I had no intentions of going back since Yuki-sensei was still there.
"Yeah, school's a bit of a problem right now. It's better for everyone if I stayed low for now."
"Teri-kun... you're the person I feel closest to next to mom... if there's something going on then please tell me. I want to help somehow."
Terios smiled softly and signaled for her to come join him on the bed. She happily did so and snuggled close within his arm. He closed his eyes briefly and held her gently. "I'm glad you care for me so much. I'm grateful to have such a loving sister."
I know you want to help, but, I don't want you involved in this. This is too dangerous.
"But, everything's being worked out, you won't have to get involved." Terios continued.
"I know you wouldn't lie to me... unless you wanted to protect me. But, I want to protect you."
"Believe in me, Setsuna. Everything's going to be fine without you involved."
He sighed softly, falling onto his bed while bringing her down with him. She laid on her side while Terios wrapped an arm around her feeling the coldness of her body.
With his sister by his side, Terios was able to have a peaceful night. Beams of light flashed through his window, alerting that it was morning. Yawning lightly, Terios awoke and glanced around the room before looking down at his sister.
She was completely motionless, it would always be boring to just stay like that for an entire night. He was always curious to how she did it.
"Morning." Terios said softly.
"Morning." She replied, sitting herself up.
"I'm meeting some friends today, so I'll be gone for awhile."
"You have friends...?"
"Hey... that hurts." He joked.
"I didn't mean it like that." Setsuna lowered her head.
"I know. I don't really know these guys, I'm meeting them through Akari."
"Can I come?"
"N-not that I wouldn't want you to, it's just..." He started while scratching his head.
"I understand... you'd be embarrassed by me."
"Never! Don't say something like that."
"…"
After that Terios got ready to meet up with Akari. He was on his way out the door, heading outside until Uubji caught up with him, running after him as the two stood in the center of the woods.
"Nephew."
"Huh?"
"Thank you."
"Uncle Uubji... you don't have to thank me. It was something that needed to be done."
"I know, but to put that kind of a burden on you."
Terios smiled before resting a hand on Uubji's back. "Hey, I have a lot of weight to carry since I am what I am. I can't change that, but what can change is what I intend to do."
"What is it you intend to do now?" Uubji asked curiously.
"I'm going to stop my father. Before he starts something."
"You can always depend on your family."
"I know and if I need your help believe me, I'll ask for it."
Uubji patted his nephew on the back before giving him a goofy smile. Suddenly the two busted out laughing for an no reason. "Go do what you have to do. Just don't keep any secrets. Ryo should know about Isamu."
"Right."
"When you get back tell him." Uubji said as he turned back to walk back into the manor.
Once I meet up with these friends of Akari what will that mean for me?
