When I regain consciousness we all are laid in a room with white walls and white floor, it also has a brown door.
Looks like Safa regained consciousness before me, she looks panicked that's reasonable considering our situation. The others are still unconscious.
Safa speaks up first "Are you alright?"
I reply "I am fine, though my handbag seems to be gone. Are you alright?"
She assures me she is fine, then mentions all our handbags , accessories and even hair clips are gone.
Eh why was our hair clips gone? What can be accomplished by taking them?? Anyways it must have been a torture to take out all the hair clips from Deva's hair. She wears like 20 bobby pins , cause of how curly and untamed her hair is.
I decided to ask a question " Do you know what happened?"
Safa answers " No , but I know this isn't a regular kidnapping"
I ask why
She replies "just a bad feeling"
Safa has great intuition, this makes the situation even more concerning.
Unsure of what to do, me and Safa keep quiet.
Next Maria wakes up, she looks very confused. She seems to be in a daze after regaining consciousness, she doesn't respond to Safa's question on how she is feeling. Maybe this reaction is caused due to whatever was used to knock us out.
Weird I don't feel any sedative effects.... But that's not important now, Safa looks more panicked now. I need to calm her down.
If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen from Royal Road. Please report it.
By the time I calm down Safa a bit ,both Mahin and Deva regain consciousness, Maria looks less dazed now thankfully. But Deva is dazed, this is bad.
Suddenly a masked man enters the room, weird looking for a kidnapper cause of the cute rabbit mask but he definitely passes as a serial killer.
The person seems to be a young lean male, most likely around my age.
He speaks up " Seems like you all are awake, anyways I offer my greetings and welcome you all to the friendship trials, where your friendships will be tested as a repayment for debt."
Mahin suddenly speaks up in a panicked tone "what debt?!"
The man replies " one you here have a debt of 10 million rupees and applied to this game in hopes of clearing the debt, I know who it is but can't tell who it is though."
I decided to speak " when will the effects of the drug wear off ?"
The man replies in a cheery tone " oooo you don't seem to under the effects yet you question it before knowing your situation"
Safa suddenly screams " WE WERE DRUGGED??"
Mahin replies "even anesthetics used for anesthesia is a drug so calm down"
Mahin seems to be quite calm surprisingly, I bet she is freaking out on the inside.
Deva and Maria are still silent, don't know if it's the drugs effect or their introverted personality.
Am I freaked out? , well no. I know I should be but I don't feel it.
The man starts talking again " you see I hate being cut off in the middle, so let's avoid that from happening again. Anywayssss the drugs effect will wear of soon."
After a pause he continues " I am bunny and I will be your host for the first friendship trial. Once the drug effects completely wear off ,we will be moving to the room beyond the door for the first trial. But before that you all can decide whether you want to participate in the trials or not. If you decide not to participate, then we will knock you guys out and leave you all in your respective accommodations."
Safa questions in surprise " You know our accommodations??"
For some reason I didn't think twice on how they know where we live and didn't even question it. Sometimes I am too air-headed.
Bunny speaks up with an evil grin " of course we do, we got all your information in our database. Now do decide among yourself whether you wanna play the trials or not."
Maria speaks though a bit sluggish "can we get time to decide "
"Of course you do" bunny answers
The effects wore off on Maria it seems , though Deva looks a bit confused. I guess it might be because she broke of from the daze in the middle of everything.
I still have more questions than answers, and this situation feels so much like a psychological manga or drama to my dismay.
And those always end badly.
