Chapter 14:

Inside the door, Oliver saw something unimaginable, and something equally as beautiful. Walking through the door, into the poorly lit room, Oliver could see beautiful women, about 7 in total. Each was bound in rope and completely in the nude. Oliver had never seen a naked girl before, well, not in real life.

(A/N: I don’t think I have to point this out, but Oliver and every “girl” is over 18 years of age.)

Oliver approached the bound girls and spoke in a commanding tone. “My name is Oliver and I shall save you all.” Oliver looked around the room at the girls, “In exchange, each of you will do as I say.”

For a brief moment, silence refined supreme in the small room, the only thing that you could hear was the girl's breathing and the raging battle outside. “Well?” Asked Oliver.

One girl spoke up, “Okay, please save us.” She cried. Small scratches were visible all over her sickly pale skin. Only days had passed since the changing of the world, but she was still in such a state. “Please” She cried out to the Man before her, his red cape drawing behind, a black sword attached to his belt. She was expecting her savior to be wearing shining silver armor, carrying a sword that shined the glorious light of heaven, but you can’t be picky in such a situation. As hers.

It was only a couple of days ago, but she was rescued from a mutant bear monster, her rescuers brought her to this camp, into a tent, and had their way with her. They cut her skin, bruised her body, and by all intensive purposes, raped her.

Suddenly the sword on the man before her started to float out from his belt. “Untie them.” The man spoke to the sword as if it were a servant. But the sword did fly, and it flew around the small room, and cut all of the thick ropes binding the girls. Once the sword was done with its task, it returned to the man, its master.

“Get up and find your clothes.” Said the man.

Another girl spoke up, “They tore all our clothes, we don’t have any.” She cried out.

“Hmm?” Said Oliver.

After a brief moment of thought, Oliver grabbed a small pouch from his side. From the pouch he pulled out a talisman. A bright light glimmered from the talisman, and lit up the room. After the light subsided, the seven girls were clothed in a striking set of armor. The armor covered the important bits, but it did nothing to hide the curves of these hotties.

The girls stood up, still weak and bruised. “Thank you.” Said the girl closest to him. (The same girl who was reduced from the bear monster.)

“Of course, It's my pleasure.” His blushed face not returning to white, for some reason, the armor made the girls look even hotter than when they were naked.

One of the girls fell, holding her leg, a single tear leaving her eye was the only other sign of pain. Oliver walked over to the girl and grabbed the tiny chest from inside his belt. He placed the chest on the floor and pushed mana into it. The chest instantly grew larger and when it stopped growing, Oliver opened the chest and took out the healing medallion. He held out the medallion above his head and the room was filled with a soft green glow, all the injuries on the girls were healed, their strength returned as well.

They all started to cry, but it wasn’t in pain, these tears were of great joy. Joy that they have been saved by this mysterious red cape wearing man. Oliver put the medallion back into the chest and shrunk it back down to size. He picked up the small chest and hid it inside his belt.

“Let's go.” Oliver said.

The girls followed as Oliver left the room, they passed into the empty bar and walked out the front door.

Outside, it was dark. The only light that was visible was the glimmer from the moon, the campfires dotted around the compound and a purple glow emanating from the battle taking place next to the gate to the compound. Oliver led the girls to the walls opposite from the battle, when they got there, Oliver began to charge a fire spell to break through the hard dirt wall. As he was about to blow up the wall, he heard a voice from behind him.

“Well, well, well, if it isn’t Oliver Briege? I was wondering what happened to you, but I guess you didn’t die inside the dungeon. I’m surprised, frankly, you were supposed to just die for my entertainment.” Said Blaze McCarthy wearing his suit and bright blue tie. Though now the suit was covered in blood and dirt, he must have seen Oliver and the girls leave from the building while fighting Reinhard.

Oliver turned around and looked upon the man. Oliver was quite mad at that guy. Not only did he send him into the dungeon, but he also kidnapped him from the street. However…

“Mr. McCarthy, it’s a pleasure to see you again, I was worried you’d die because of my friend.” He pointed to the battle at the front gate. Bodies flying into the air, and screams of men echoing on the ruined skyscrapers surrounding the compound.

“So that was you?” He asked, “Well, now I’ll have to kill you!” Shouted McCarthy.

“If you can.” Said Oliver, leading the girls behind him and up against the wall. Oliver looked to the approaching McCarthy and held his hands out, from one, he summoned a fireball and in the other, he summoned an ice shard. McCarhty started to run to Oliver, he used his water/ice magic to create a hammer.

Oliver laughed as Blaze approached him, Oliver through the fireball and ice shard at McCarthy. He fell to the ground, but it didn’t hurt him.

Standing back up, McCarthy said “Ha, you’ll have to do better than that!”

Oliver's smile disappeared from his face, this made McCarthy happy. And the happy McCarthy gladly charged at the defenseless Oliver. His happiness clouded his better judgment. And as Blaze McCarthy was running towards Oliver, his gaze fell to the floor, and then nothing.

Oliver opened his eyes, he thought he was done for. Even Though Oliver was more powerful than McCarthy, he had no mana left. The fireball and ice shard was all he had left after healing the girl's injuries and using the storage chest. But what Oliver saw was a surprise, instead of seeing Blaze and an ice hammer, he saw a giant bone lizard.

“Aurelian?” Asked Olvier. It was quite dark, so Oliver could only see the lizard's outline. Sure enough, the bone lizard approached Oliver, and it was indeed Aurelian. Inside its mouth was a decapitated McCarthy.

The lizard shook its tail and dropped the corpse in front of Oliver. Oliver was frozen for a moment, but quickly realized that he was safe now. Aurelian was a force to be reckoned with, and McCarthy was probably the strongest in the compound. Speaking of the compound, it was practically destroyed. Most of the infrastructure was destroyed and the only thing that was left standing was the center building and the walls around Oliver.

“Shriek” screamed one of the girls.

Olive turned around to see the scared girls, “It’s okay, he’s with me.” But that didn’t seem to comfort the girls in any way, shape, or form.
