Entire universe shaken as it awakened from its slumber.
My gaze is drawn to my sides as I float in dark space, thinking of a solution.
Cracks in space dominate my entire vision as jet-black centipedes appear from them. All drawn towards the very thing I’m looking at right now.
I dodge by telekinetically hurling my body to another way as a meteorite streaks towards me..
Flesh of my arm dissolves as it grazes me... Pain hit me instantly, then it was gone in a flash. My arm hangs limp on my side uselessly as all nerves are fried. I suppress my scream as one centipede locks its gazes with me as the light in their eyes increases in intensity and comes hurtling towards me.
I manipulate dark matter around me in order to form a two-sided portal.
As it came hurtling towards me, I opened a portal just in time.
It came through the portal and instantly appeared on the other side.
To the sun.
There was no time to catch my breath as cracks in space worsened every second and destroyed another planet.
Mars was gone…
Martian ships were in a state of denial as chaos erupted among them.
They started firing blindly as centipedes closed in, sowing even more chaos.
What looks like a Martian Commander ship glowed red to my eyes as ships instantly formed a circle around it.
Many more centipedes appeared from cracks in space, right in front of martian ships as they came hurtling towards them.
They were getting surrounded from all sides, then the command ship glowed a second time as the entire battalion of centipedes went into flames.
They detonated their ship’s power core and the universe bathed light in Martian colors last time in a final act of defiance as they all fell silent.
I didn’t have time to get distracted as I got ready to dodge yet another centipede… when the entire universe instantly froze in time.
Including me as I uselessly tried to move when it finally roused from its slumber.

Probably luck I thought and dismissed it from my mind.

I can’t run as it can follow me wherever I go…
I can’t exactly fight either as it is too powerful I thought and deployed a two-sided portal in front of me, intending to reflect damage back.
As I was about to attack, the planet finally cracked like an egg as millions of eyes glared towards me hatefully, instantly pinpointing my exact location.
It can detect hostility, it seems…
Good to know I thought as it grew in size until covering my entire vision and began to glow, revealing its true form.
Thin wires that look like veins as they pump some kind of liquid to them.
Millions of green eyes as they glare at me hatefully.
And at the core is the heart that beats whenever they get an intake of that liquid.
Remaining centipedes are drawn to the creature like moths drawn to flames as they throw themselves into its many mouths.
It grew every second as it devoured centipedes one by one.
I did not have time to form even more defense as it began to move.
Maybe it is time to finally get serious. I thought, preparing to fight for my life…
