I hopped over another wreckage as I got closer to the city center…
They cordoned the area but I simply teleported over.
‘Everything was fine’ I thought when the newspaper flew to my face.
“It says gas leak” I said out loud, raising an eyebrow.
“Can you believe it? I’m sure they are hiding something.” grumbled old man who look like evil version of santa
“What could that possibly be?” I said amused.
“Bah, demons, nazis, everything between, who really knows these days for sure?”
He then went into his house, looking over his shoulder suspiciously.
By the time I approached the shop, a gift shop to be precise, the conversation was already forgotten.
The bell rang when I opened the door.
“Welcome, what can I do for you?” said the shopkeeper energetically as she adjusted her glasses.
“I need a map,” I said, opening my wallet.
“Uhh, sure, we have those,” replied the shopkeeper then she searched the backroom.
“Here, free of charge,” said the shopkeeper, extending an old map. “It was collecting dust anyway.”
“Is this accurate?” I said, raising an eyebrow.
“Yes, it is only 10 years old.” said the shopkeeper “You can take it.”
“Okay,” I said and took the map from her callused hands. “Evening.”
“Please come again!” shouted the shopkeeper as I was leaving.

As I walked away from the shop, I thought about where she could be…
Then I remembered there was protocol for cases like this.
In case of unknown location, unknown events and unknown threats, retreat to a safe place where no beings can ever find you.
Cemetery…

As I walked towards my destination with a map in my hand, I thought about a lot of things.
First of all, gray-skinned creatures. They look almost like humans save for gray-skin and sharp teeths.
Then the demonic possession case just as I undid my disguise. Could it be related? Almost %100
There is also the demon invasion to consider, also that hellhound…
‘Somebody doesn’t want me on this planet’ I thought when I finally arrived at my destination.

Doors of the cemetery opened with groan, rusted beyond measure no doubt.
“Grandpa? Grandpa!” yelled Elizabeth as she ran up to me.
“Yes, yes, I’m here, don't cry.” I scolded her when she cried in tears.
“It's been almost a month!” said Elizabeth energy in her voice “Do you know how worried I was?”
“Brats don’t have to worry, it is the privilege of adults.” I said amusingly.
“I’m adult!” cried Elizabeth and then she laughed, relief in her voice, “I missed you.”
“I know kiddo, I know,” I said and hugged her.

“Where is Celfie?” I asked after Elizabeth calmed down.
“I don’t know, she disappeared unexpectedly one day, whatever you did seems to have broken the dimensional seal placed in this place,” replied Elizabeth “I also can’t believe it is only a day, you were missing for a month!”
“Well what can I do about it? It just happens” I said “Maybe we can finally go home now.”
“What about your vacation?” asked Elizabeth jokingly. “Are you sure you don’t want to stay?”
“Yeah no, it is ruined beyond measure.” I said unamused, “Let’s just go.”
“Well if you are sure.”
As we were about to leave, something beneath it shook the place.
Yeah no, screw you, we are out of here. I thought and broke the boundary between this dimension and the next.
We were finally going home.
