It locked gazes at me with its predatory yellow eyes, walking slowly as powerful furry claws tore apart building after building. Wreathed in hellfire with its massive frame, it torched whatever it encountered.

Then it howled and started to charge. Afterimages emerged, looking like a flaming doom of vengeance.

Before I thought about escaping, surrounding demons the convergened on this location, trapping me here with a hellhound. It stopped, then grinned and let out a powerful howl. It instantly destroyed everything in its radius.

I uttered words of power as it gazed at me.

[ᛞᛁᛋᛁᚾᛏᛖᚷᚱᚨᛏᛖ]!

Cracks in the space appeared as purple light washed over the hellhound.

And it emerged unharmed.

It let out a laugh and breathed fire.

It missed as I plunged myself into the shadows.

I then pulled a similar looking form as I retreated and uttered words of power.

Instantly a canine wreathed in shadows formed from its shadow and glared at its opponent.

It then teleported to hellhound’s side and bit its neck,

Lava oozed from its neck and it let out a howl of pain, instantly knocking back its clone several steps back.

‘But its job was done’ I thought and uttered words of power when its wounds began to close…

[ᚡᛟᛁᛞ]!

Black dots emerged near the wound and started to vacuum the lava into a void, which is its life blood.

It let out a howl final time before collapsing into a puddle of nothingness.

Void was still there, growing in power as it sucked nearby demons…

And summoned more black dots.

I then absorbed all the black dots into my shadows and walked away. The Demons gave way in surprise, completely lost without a leader.

“Return,” I said to the demons. “ Go back to your world, never to return.”

Then one by one they bowed, and started to disappear into cracks. Gradually cracks in the ground started to close as well.

‘All in a day's work’ I thought and started to search for Elizabeth again…
