Ash looks scared as she's on the ground and Yuji lies unconscious.

Ash: "W-what are you?"

N slowly moves back and forth then falls onto his side.

A rift opens revealing to be Elizabeth running to the 3 of them.

Ash faints from shock as everything goes slow-motion as Elizabeth slowly runs towards her.

Ash slowly opens her eyes to see a blue ceiling with spots.

Ash: "W-where am i-OW!"

Ash tries to get up but feels a sudden pain in her legs.

Ash: "What?"

Ash looks at her hands and sees her arms and legs covered in bandages and wearing a hospital apron.

Ash looks around to see that she's in an infirmary.

Ash: "How did I-"

Elizabeth comes barging into the room.

Ash's eyes widen and jitters in surprise.

Ashlyn: "HUH?!?!"

Elizabeth gasps in shock and runs to hug Ashlyn.

Elizabeth: "THANK GOODNESS YOU'RE SAFE!"

Ashlyn has a confused but thankful face.

Ashlyn: "Umm...thanks?"

Elizabeth lets go of Ash then brings a chair and sits next to Ash's bed.

Ashlyn: "So uhh...what happened?"

Elizabeth: "You really don't remember?"

Ashlyn: "Not really...I remember beating some weird creatures...then the rest is pretty fuzzy."

Elizabeth: "Well, in a nutshell, you were attacked by an omen that was considered much stronger than the omen that initially appeared once you arrived in the city. We weren't even able to communicate with you once that giant snake had arrived out of that mysterious rift that appeared. Luckily enough you were able to defeat it."

Elizabeth's face suddenly drops and gives off a serious tone.

Elizabeth: "Wow, you really want me to boost your ego huh?"

Ashlyn: "N-NO NO NO! I just don't remember much y'know?"

Elizabeth: "Sure...ahem anyway, it's not like we knew what happened. We were completely cut off from everyone until the snake was defeated. The only thing we found was the snake with its stomach open, Yuji and you were unconscious, and N was also unconscious but he was covered in some strange fluids."

Ashlyn: "N was-"

Ashlyn back up on her bed and rolls her legs into her chest.

Ashlyn: "HE DID SOMETHING TO ME DIDN'T HE?! DID HE HURT YUJI?! I'LL KILL HIM THE NEXT TIME I SEE HIM-"

Elizabeth: "Ashlyn-"

Elizabeth: "Yuji is right here, he's still stable but still unconscious from whatever occurred after that battle."

Ashlyn: "Thank goodness...but...what happened to N?"

Elizabeth says nothing and shows a frustrated face.

Ashlyn: "Eli?"

Jacob arrives at the gymnasium of the school with the floor of the gymnasium completely covered in body bags.

Banishment enters immediately after and stands behind Jacob.

Banishment: "Are you happy?"

Jacob stands still and says nothing.

Banishment: "Are you going to ignore me again?...like how you've ignored your entire family's teachings about what to do if the omen were to ever return?"

Banishment: "YOU REALLY SENT THESE INNCONENTS WITHOUT ANY PROPER TRAINING OR ANYTHING WORTH PREPARING?!"

Banishment: "What?"

Jacob: "YOU ACT AS IF I WANTED TO SEND THESE PEOPLE TO THEIR DEATHS! LOOK OUT THERE BANSHIE! PEOPLE ARE DYING AS WE SPEAK AND WE CAN'T JUST SIT HERE AND WASTE TIME!"

Jacob lets out a long sigh and turns back around to face the body bags.

Jacob: "How many did we have to begin with?"

Banishment: "500..."

Jacob: "How many survived?"

Banishment: "....15. But that's including the people who are still recovering...but Elizabeth told me to doubt that all of them can make it."

Jacob clutches his left fist in anger.

Jacob: "You know what? it's better than having nobody."

Banishment: " You call preparing a waste of time but it would be better with a fighting chance than going out there with your so-called plan...and yeah, I'm aware people are dying as we speak...but at least we'd save some lives if you actually did something for once other then abusing that ability of yours."

Banishment: "Let me know when you're ready to face reality for once."

Banishment leaves the gymnasium.

Jacob raises his hand and summons his blue Syn ready to burn the body bags.

One of the body bags moves.

Jacob looks over in response with confusion.

Jacob: "Huh?"

The body suddenly rolls up and slowly unzips revealing to be N.

N yawns and scratches his eye.

N: "What the fuck happened?...why am I in a body bag?"

Jacob's eyes widen and his mouth drops in shock.

N: "What are you doing?"

Jacob: "Y-y-y-y-y-you are DEAD!"

N: "What are you talking about? I feel pretty alive..."

Jacob thinks: "I mean Syn does have resurrection properties but it would take at least 4 people just to bring back one person..but there's also that other method but...no it couldn't be...could it?"

N slowly walks away from the gymnasium.

Jacob: "What's everybody gonna think that a walking corpse is in the school?... but I can't also forget-"

Jacob raises his hand over the body bags.

Jacob: "Burn"

All the body bags simultaneously burn and form a giant blue flame inside the gymnasium.

Jacob falls to his knees in disappointment.

Jacob: "damn it all..."

Ashlyn: "So...just one question? where exactly are we?"

Elizabeth: "The best answer that I can give you is that this is a pocket dimension created by Jacob's ancestors to keep humans hidden from the invading omen. But sadly, it hasn't been used until now so Jacob decided to at least give us a proper place so we can at least feel safe."

Ashlyn: "Makes sense but...where exactly is everyone else?"

Elizabeth: "sighhh...I'm afraid out of all 500 of you who had made it...only 15 of you survived from what Banishment had told me."

Ashlyn: "Jesus Christ..."

Ashlyn: "But you seem like you could bring back everyone with ease...didn't Jacob mention something like that?"

Elizabeth: "Hehe my ability heals yes, but it can't bring back the dead. Once somebody is gone..they're gone for good. Plus Jacob and all of us will combine our Syn to bring back everyone once and for all."

Ashlyn: "But how are we meant to bring everyone back since we have so little number now?"

Elizabeth: "Hmm...that's a good question."

N walks pasts the infirmary entrance.

N: "Hey uhh...Elizabeth was it? do you think you could get me patched up?"

Elizabeth and Ashlyn's eyes widen and their jaws drop in shock.

N: "....what?"

Elizabeth: "G-G-G-GHOSTT!!"

N: "Umm...first of all, what do you mean ghost? and second, I wouldn't want to touch...that."

Jacob is standing on the rail of a bridge under a lake in the city.

Jacob spreads his arms and makes a loud echoing clap.

A giant blue bull with gills appears out of the lake right behind Jacob.

Banishment: "Your mind's broken...and you refuse to fix it."
