The monster stands tall over N.

"Little....draggy...." The monster muttered, its voice becoming dry and almost decaying.

N comes to a pause and suddenly remembers from a flashback of the little girl hugging him and whispering into his ear.

"Little...draggy...." The exact words the little girl spouted out sounded just like...."

N: "You? Why? what did we do to you?"

Little girl: "Little...draggy...too...good...for...humans..."

The little girl, now turned monster slowly offers her giant hand with sharp claws.

Little girl: "Come back to us...."

The others except for Yuji are in the infirmary with them gathered around Ashlyn in one of the pods. Jacob is struggling to open a rift.

Jacob: "Come on...COME ON!!"

He continues to struggle with opening a rift, but nothing continues to happen.

Jacob: "Haha...ha..."

Mallory comes over to check on Jacob.

Mallory: "Any luck?"

Jacob: "Nope...we're just..."

Jacob PUNCHES the wall in front of him, leaving a large crater.

Jacob: "WE'RE ALL JUST SITTING DUCK AGAIN, FUCK!!!"

Everyone looks over at Jacob with faces of worry.

he takes his hand out of the wall as tiny pebbles come out of the mark made from his fist.

Jacob: "We're gonna have to rely on N...again, or at least until I can open a rift again..."

Cassandra: "Maybe it's not the rift's fault it can't open, you ever thought of that?"

Jacob says nothing and thinks to himself.

Jacob: (first it was the wolf, then it was with this monster? What's going on? Could they be evolving?)

Jizzabelle: "It seems we'll have to play the waiting for now, unfortunately..."

Irina sits at a nearby desk and looks over to see Cassandra seated along the wall next to the door, with her legs curled up to her chest.

She walks over and sits next to her.

Irina: "How are you feeling?"

Cassandra says nothing at first.

Cassandra: "I don't know...why did she-"

Irina: "Have you really not figured it out?"

Cassandra nods her head from side to side.

Irina: "She protected you from that creature because she's trying to tell you something...she trying to tell you that-"

Everyone looks over at Cassandra's loud statement.

Banishment sits on his bed looking down on the floor as a flashback occurs.

Jacob comes barging into the infirmary carrying Ashlyn.

Irina starts panting as she wobbles to a wall.

Jacob struggles at first, then Mallory comes over and assists Jacob in placing Ashlyn into the capsule and closing it.

Jacob crouches down, starts panting, then takes a long breath in and stands straight up.

Jacob: "OKAY, CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING?!"

Jizzabelle charges at Cassandra and holds her by the shoulders.

Jizzabelle: "Cassandra, you were there! what the hell happened while we were away?!"

Cassandra: "I...I don't-"

Jizzabelle: "YOU WERE THE ONE BEING ATTACKED, SHOULDN'T YOU AT LEAST KNOW?!"

Cassandra: "I'M TELLING YOU, I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED, WE WERE JUST TALKING THEN-"

Irina whispers from afar: "Monster."

Jizzabelle and Cassandra look over to see Irina sitting along the wall shaking uncontrollably.

Mallory: "I don't get it...how did something like that just slip from under our noses?"

Jacob: "I don't know, it couldn't have made its way through the void, nobody can enter in unless it's through the entrance only I know." (but I've made it impossible since I destroyed the warehouse long ago)

Cassandra: "Well clearly that thing must have found the entrance since it just did all of that."

Jacob side eyes Cassandra.

Jacob: "If anyone entered the entrance to this place, I would have been notified the second it happened, and even if they did enter, they would have been killed already."

Cassandra immediately retaliates by standing up and walking until standing directly in front of Jacob's face.

Cassandra: "Well, clearly, someone failed at doing such an easy job. It's just like Banishment said, you're not as strong as you think, maybe if you weren't just sitting on your ass all day, Elizabeth would-"

Jacob's eyes immediately spark and burst into bright blue flames.

Jacob: "You wanna finish that? yeah, Banishment's right that we're as strong as we claim to be. But I'm more than capable of doing things that I know I can do, like putting you in your place. so, I'll ask you again, you wanna finish that fucking sentence."

Cassandra and Jacob continue to stare at each other as orange and Blue flames slowly begin to spark between the two of them.

Jizzabelle places her hand on Cassandra's shoulder, causing the orange flames to extinguish.

She turns around to look at Jizzabelle. Jizzabelle nods her head no.

Cassandra lets out a long sigh in response

Cassandra: "Tsk, whatever..."

She walks away from Jacob and lies against the nearby wall.

Jacob: "Like I was saying, before I was rudely interrupted, I've made it practically impossible for anyone to even enter this space, for people who are inside you can exit as easy as jumping into the void...unless..."

Jizzabelle immediately attempts to finish Jacob's sentence.

Jizzabelle: "That thing could have broken in if it was brought from the outside."

Jacob: "Which can only mean..."

Mallory: "That monster is..."

Jacob grabs his head and holds it tightly as he starts to get flashbacks to the Maroon suns.

Jacob: "So..that entire time..."

He continues to get flashbacks of playing with the little girl.

Jacob: "And we just let her in...as if nothing happened...that explains why she was the only one not eaten...they were..."

Banishment's body twitches then slowly opens his eyes.

Banishment: "What happened? What the?"

Banishment looks over to see Ashlyn in one of the capsules.

Jacob: "Relax, we'll tell you everything so far..."

The group proceeds to explain the current events.

Jacob: "Been trying as soon as he jumped into the void."

Banishment moves over into a sitting position and looks down at the floor.

Banishment: "damn it, I'm sorry that I haven't been of any use to any of you, as of late."

Jacob has a flashback of talking to someone through a wall of smoke. He then puts his hand on Banishment's shoulder.

Jacob: "You have your reasons, you don't have to make up excuses...but for now...we have to rely on N...again."

Cassandra looks at Ashlyn in the capsule. Irina puts her hand on Cassandra's shoulder.

Irina: "I'll leave you, call me or any of us if you wanna talk."

Cassandra: "Whatever..."

Cassandra notices her hand shaking furiously.

Before N can finish his sentence the little girl, turned monster GRABS N by the neck, runs him through the ground, and throws him away into a nearby building, causing him to CRASH right into the building.

Little girl: "You...turned...to...mortals...you...now...traitor..."

The little girl has a flashback of standing in front of a figure wearing clothing of a ronin with white middle-parted hair.

Little girl: "I...trusted...one...but...he...left...me..."

N comes jumping out from the smoke and attempts to attack with his katana but it's stuck within the monster's grey skin.

N: "Look, I don't know what's happening here, but can't we at least talk this out-"

The little girl throws N away into another building but she jumps into the building she threw him in this time.

Deezle appears next to N while he sits on rubble.

Deezle: "Wow, you're getting your ass kicked out here."

N: "SHUT IT!"

N stands back up and focuses his dark red syn into his katana.

N: "Haven't seen this in a while."

The little girl comes walking into the rubble.

N jumps in and SLICES the little girl's chest but nothing happens.

N: "Shit..."

The little girl grabs N by the head and holds him up.

Little girl: "Being...mortal...made...you...weak..."

N looks at the strings keeping her limbs together. He SLICES the strings away as her entire left arm begins to burn.

Little girl: "Agh!"

The little girl drops N as N KICKS the little girl in the face, causing her to be sent flying into the ground.

Deezle: "Jesus, someone's a bit cranky, no?"

N turns around with his eyes burning dark red flames.

N: "Will you shut up for once?"

N drops back down onto the ground.

Deezle: "Hmm, this might get interesting!"

N slowly walks over as the girl comes charging in and STABS him directly in the guts, causing blood and guts to splatter, and N barfs out blood.

Little girl: I'm..sorry..."

N: "That's just what I wanted you to do."

Little girl: "What?"

N SLICES the other arm off of the little girl. She RIPS off her arm in response as N barfs more blood.

N looks down to see a small hole in his side.

N: "It hurts but...I think I'm used to it..."

N slowly walks over to the little girl and SLICES off both of her legs.

N stands over the little girl, now limbless and lying on the ground.

N: "It's weird...I feel like I've known you my whole life but at the same time, I've known you for like a day or two..."

N hovers his katana over the little girl's chest area.

N: "Sorry it had to be this way..."

Little girl: "I'm..sorry...too."

N: "What?"

Little girl: "ABSTRACT: FURIOUS SLICE"

One giant slice comes in and SLICES N in half as several buildings behind him are sliced in half as well.

N lays on the floor with his top half sliced from his bottom.

The little girl regenerates her limbs with ease as she looks over the area.

Little girl: "I...will...miss...you...draggy..."

The little girl turns around and opens a rift towards the school in the void.

"Hey..."

The little girl comes to a halt and looks behind her to see N with his top half burning around his chest area like a piece of armor.

N: "Last I checked I didn't hear no bell..."

Little girl: "I...suppose...I...will...have...to...make...sure...your...dead..."

N: "Same goes for you..."

N points the katana at the little girl as it burns dark red flames.

N: "Let's finish this, yeah?"
