A flaming arm comes in and places its hand on Jacob's shoulder.

Jacob slowly turns around to see who this figure is.

Jacob: "OH! Banishment, you scared me."

Banishment: "Sorry about that, just wanted to check on you."

Banishment takes his hand off Jacob's shoulder.

Jacob: "Ah well, I was just checking out what this book had to offer....to think that after so long...we're finally getting some progress."

Banishment's fingers on his right hand start to drip rotten blood but he quickly tightens his bandages and scrapes the blood away with his foot.

Banishment: "Yes, I can't believe it either...Elizabeth would be happy for us right now..."

Jacob intensifies his stare at the book as he looks back years ago.

Jacob shows a slight grin.

Jacob: "Haha, yeah, she'd probably be losing her shit over what we went through!"

Banishment gets a flashback of seeing a man with white long hair with spiky edges covering his face and backing away on the ground.

Banishment: "Yeah...what we went through...ahem, so what are we waiting for? open the book."

Jacob and Banishment approach a nearby table and slowly open the book and turn the first page to see the contents.

Banishment: "Before we read this, shouldn't we inform everyone about what this book has to offer?"

Jacob goes silent at first.

Jacob: "We will, but let's do it once everything has calmed down."

Banishment: "What exactly happened at the maroon suns?"

Jacob gets an entire playback of everything that happened but one thing is different: he saw a corpse of a blonde boy with a ring around his finger.

Jacob: "I'll tell you later."

Jacob turns the next couple of blank pages to see the first chapter: Hybrids.

Hybrids: I've had to deal with these beings a couple of times by now. They can talk and speak exactly like humans, except they have the appearance and destructive powers of an omen...I suspect that these certain might just be a fusion between a Human and an Omen but, I'm still not sure what they could possibly be.

Jacob: "Werewolf, huh?"

Banishment: "You don't think that maybe?"

Banishment and Jacob both get a flashback of sending N to fight the wolf man.

Banishment: "But that couldn't be, could it? A fusion between a Human and an omen? Is that even possible?"

Jacob side-eyes Banishment as he gets a flashback of seeing a corpse approach him.

Jacob: "Let's keep going."

These creatures are like common livestock, you can find them everywhere around the world. But the thing that I've found was it seemed to be obedient, obedient to the point that it seemed like someone was commanding them to do whatever this person asked...not to mention that they look just like the animals you would normally see around any part of nature...I must continue my journey to find the origins of these beings.

I've made it...I've finally found it! I was told by an acquaintance that this would be the omen's homeworld. It looks a lot like our world, but the sky is pulsing red and black, the air is so toxic I'm surprised I can even breathe...and there's a strange pressure around here....it's almost like I'm constantly being crushed into the ground...I can finally end this.

Jacob looks over at Banishment as he just stares at the page in awe.

Jacob snaps in front of Banishment's face, causing Banishment to snap back.

Jacob: "Everything alright up there?"

Banishment: "Y-YES! IT'S just...it's a lot to take it, isn't it?"

Jacob giggles in response and then starts to think.

Jacob: "I don't get it...Synder? their homeworld? why would they need a homeworld if they came in invading?"

Banishment: "Maybe they would need some kind of secret base to plan things out from time to time?"

Jacob: "That could be it, but then again, assuming they just planned to take over the planet, would they really need a place to call home if they've already wanted to take over the planet?"

Banishment: "That I do not know..."

Jacob darts his eyes to the book as he turns the pages again.

The next chapter says: Kings of Synder.

I've just barely survived the sudden attack of these bastards. They called themselves the 6 kings of Synder...I can barely remember what any of them even looked like...I think...one of them was wearing a suit and a fedora. then there was one that had these long stretchy ears and a tie around his neck. then there was this big red guy who kept going on about fucking women? Then there was a gigantic dragon...I don't know...but what I do know is that I've killed them all...it took a while but I've finally killed them all...all that's left is the one who rules them all

The next sentence skips a couple of lines as it slowly spells out:

They kept mentioning him but I think I've found out his name...the overlord's name is D...

The sentence is cut off by a hole in the page.

Jacob: "No...NO NO NO!"

Jacob aggressively turns the pages to see the rest of the book's pages pierced by a burnt hole.

Jacob slowly walks away from the book in awe.

Jacob: "That would explain the sudden synvasion...he's been preparing to get back at us for the past 500 years...but my question is, why would he prepare for 500 years? unless he would need to build his army again because of whatever Gin did... "

Banishment's entire body begins to shake in fear.

Banishment: "Someone...with a fedora?"

Banishment gets a sudden flashback to see a card on the floor with a skull drawn on it spelling out: "MUERTO"

Jacob: "Umm...everything alright? hellooo, earth to Banshee?"

Banishment: "Tell me he's dead...TELL ME HE'S DEAD!!!"

Jacob runs over and places his hand on Banishment's shoulder.

Jacob: "Woah now, let's just calm down, yeah?"

Banishment suddenly faints and falls face-first onto the floor.

Jacob: "Banshee...BANSHEE?!?!"

Ashlyn is lying on her bed as she stares at the blank wall.

Ashlyn: "Holly....I didn't wanna believe it...I didn't want to think that you would do something like this..."

Ashlyn gets flashbacks of enjoying her time around Holly.

She then rolls onto her side on the bed.

Ashlyn: "Does that mean that there might be people just like her? What if everyone else turns out like her...what if even Yuji..."

Ashlyn gets a flash of Yuji lying on a brick floor with his head splattered and a hole through his stomach.

Her body starts to shake uncontrollably as her breath starts to get heavy, causing her to take in quicker-paced breaths.

Ashlyn: "No...that couldn't happen...it wouldn't happen...would it?"

Ashlyn gets up from the bed and sits on the edge but her legs continue to shake

Ashlyn: "Sigh...I need a smoke."

Ashlyn takes out a pack of cigarettes from underneath her bed and proceeds to head to the stairs but comes to a sudden stop.

Ashlyn: "Weird....the halls haven't been this quiet since...since..."

Ashlyn gets a flashback of returning from the first day.

Ashlyn: "Ahem...not important, I need to shake this off."

Ashlyn follows the stairs up until she reaches the roof and opens the door with ease.

Ashlyn: "Huh, I thought the door would be unlocked, but then again we are in a void floating around so...huh?"

Ashlyn looks over to see N looking out onto the void with the little girl lying on his back and her arms wrapped around her shoulder.

Ashlyn: "What are you doing here?"
