Z12 was a renowned space station, known for its advanced technology and exotic research projects. However, the station quickly gained a darker reputation when an unknown force took hold within the station’s walls. People began to vanish, their screams unheard as they were taken away. They soon discovered a portal leading to an alternate dimension, filled with creatures that seemed bent on destruction. This portal was the source of the disappearances, and the station was quickly locked down until a permanent solution could be found. The creatures, however, were relentless and started breaking through the barriers that had been set up. It soon became apparent that a new plan had to be put in place to stop the creatures from destroying the station and being released into our dimension. Scientists and engineers were called in to study and construct devices able to eliminate or at least contain the creatures. It seemed that these creatures whatever dimension they originated from had laws of physics different to our own and that somehow these creatures were able to ignore our laws of physics nullifying any type of attack based on temperature and being unaffected by gravity or any attack based on energy. Lasers and bullets couldn't harm them, but plastic seemed to be able to contain them even though they could tear through steel. The entire station was sealed in plastic and the station remains quarantined till today.
