“Pilot please wake up.” The AI called out to Gray.
Not long after, Gray woke up and he quickly stood up. He then rushed to the neural helmet and put it on. He then asked the AI. “What is the situation?”
The AI replied to Grays question in its emotionless voice. “Pilot you had instructed that I wake you up in the morning.”
“Oh, okay thanks.” He thanked the AI as he rubbed his sleepy eyes, while remembering that he told it to wake him up in the morning.
Gray asked the AI. “So how do I even cultivate Bio Plasma?”
The AI replied back to him. “At the current moment I do not have access to the important information on cultivating Bio Plasma, but I can upload the basic information into your brain.”
When Gray heard this, he was not surprised. The AI was assisting him to the best of its abilities without going against its programming. He’s been thinking of giving the AI a name and stopping it from calling him ‘Pilot’.
Gray asked the AI. “Okay then let’s do this, are you ready to upload the information into my brain?”
“Affirmative Pilot, when would you like to start?” The AI replied.
“Just now, first I would like to make something clear. First stop calling me ‘Pilot’ just call me captain Gray or Gray Heart.” He spoke to the AI while assuming a stern posture. He was not one of those people who liked to be called ‘master’.
Although somewhere deep down in the darkest parts of his soul he did want to be called master. He then thought to himself. ‘It’s the way of man to want to be called master, but I’ve got self control and captain would suffice. That’s if it calls me captain Gray. Mm… captain Gray sounds good.’ Gray slowly nodded his head.
“Affirmative, I will change how I address you to ‘Captain Gray’ from now on, or though this rank does not match that of the Larcripters.” The AI responded to Grays command.
“Huh? That doesn’t really matter to me I don’t really care about the Larcripters ranks or whatever.” Gray spoke as he shrugged his shoulders.
“Is that so, then that means you’re a captain in name only?” The AI asked Gray.
He nodded his head as he confirmed the AI’s question. “Yes, it’s just in name.”
“Okay never mind that, let’s move on to the next thing.” Gray said to the AI while staring towards the wall in front of him with one eye brow lifted higher than the other.
He then continued to speak to the AI. “AI from now on I’m giving you a name. I’ve been thinking, that because I can’t see you and only hear you. I would call you Fantasma, its Greek for ghost. Though the correct spelling for it is Phantasma.”
“...”
The AI took some time to reply to Gray. “Captain, do you know the meaning of naming something and how important it is?”
“No?” Gray said as he shook his head with a confused expression on his face.
“Naming something that uses Bio Plasma would later gain a personality depending on that name. Are you sure you want to proceed with naming me?” The AI asked Gray as it warned him about the consequences.

Gray spoke to the AI in a clam tone with a slight ting of humor laced in it. “Its fine proceed with the name change, I don’t mind if you gain a personality think of it as a thanks for helping me out.”
“Affirmative, I have received the name Fantasma. You also don’t have to thank me for helping you as it is in my programing to assist the pilots of this ship to the best of my capabilities.” The AI now named Fantasma replied.
“Okay cool, proceed to send the information into my brain.” He soke to Fantasma in an excited tone.
Fantasma replied. “Affirmative, I will proceed in five seconds:
Five
Four
Three
Two
One...”
When the countdown ended, Gray felt a warm feeling in his head. He could feel the changes in his mind, he felt his memory expanding at a rapid pace. During this process He could not think at all, but only feel the changes to his body.
Five minutes later the whole process had come to an end. Gray then came back to his senses and he thought. ‘I thought Fantasma said this was basic information on how to cultivate Bio Plasma.
But, its flipping huge, its like millions of pages of information in my mind but I remember it all. For example, the highest known Bio level is 499, but I only have enough information to reach Bio level 5 if I work hard.
Also, Bio Plasma in a living being will restore itself without the need of Bio matter it’s like the energy comes from some unknown dimension, but in order to increase the total limit of Bio Plasma a being can store they need to consume Bio matter. Like Fantasma told to me earlier on, my name could affect my appearance.
I hope I don’t become ugly, because I think I’m… average looking?’ What Gray did not know was that he was extremely good looking. He was not always like this, when he first came to university, he looked like a total nerd an ugly duckling, but after he started working out in the gym to use the fast and free internet to download anime.
His body changed as if he grew up and became a swan, his tall body became a well-toned one, his unhealthy-looking black hair became silky smooth and his dull brown eyes got another worldly shine to them.
He was one of the most handsome men in the university not only that he was smart too, all the girls on the campus grounds wanted to date him. He also did not know that his best friend chased way all the girls that tried to approach him, keeping him single for the whole three years he had attended the university.
Gray always thought that the girls on campus were not interested in half foreigners like him. He started to go over the new information that he had in his head. To start cultivating Bio Plasma to level 1. One needs to consume about ten kilograms of raw Bio matter, the more processed the Bio matter is or how old it is can effect the amount needed to be consumed.
His best bet was to go outside and eat some fresh greens, the only problem with that was there were no edible plants outside. So, he asked Fantasma about it. “Hay Fantasma what should I do to acquire some edible Bio matter?”
“Captain do not worry about getting poisoned, or indigestion from the Bio matter outside. As you are able to use the neural gear to recover from such symptoms.
I recommend you to consume the same type of tree leaves you found last night for the Bio Reactor, also their negative affects towards humans is negligible. This is the best solution for you as you are pressed for time.” Fantasma informed Gray the best solution for his current situation.
He spoke up in a frustrated tone. “Argh! So, I have to eat tree leaves that’s disgusting.”
After a while he made up his mind to get it done. He left the control room and headed out to pick the foliage he needed to start his cultivation. While Gray was picking the leaves for his cultivation, he thought to himself. ‘Damn this is a farm, not a single thing they grow here is edible.’
After he was finished picking all the foliage he needed, he went to wash them in the farm house. Gray then headed back to the ship to start cultivating his Bio plasma power. Once he got back to the control room, he closed the huge hanger door and found a comfortable position to sit in.
He sat with his back against the wall of the control room while eating the Bio matter. He would need to feel and control his own digestion and send the broken-down bio matter to his appendix for the Bio Plasma to be extracted.
“Oh, so that’s what the appendix is used for. It seems more and more like those cultivating comics I read about.” Gray spoke in an exited tone.
After saying that, Gray began focused on cultivating his Bio Plasma. With the information in his head, it took him just over 24 hours of non stop cultivating to completely get the feel for it and to start cultivating it. After another 6 hours Gray had finished cultivating.
So, he asked Fantasma. “Fantasma please run a diagnostic test on me to see if I had successfully reached Bio level 1." He said this while putting on the neural gear on his head.
There were two ways to cultivate Bio Plasma. One was to store the Bio Plasma in all the cells of the being and strengthen their whole body this also gives the being the ability to think faster and more precise control over the Bio Plasma.
This method does not allow for a large amount of Bio power to be released in one go. The second method would be to store the Bio plasma in the appendix this allows a being to release large amounts of Bio power in one go, but this method does not strengthen the mind or the body it leaves it in its original state.
Though one would gain the ability to sense the world around them. Gray chose to cultivate the first method.
“Affirmative” Fantasma replied while it began to run diagnostic tests on him.
[Captain Gray’s diagnostics]
Race: human
Bio talent: High
Neural talent: High
Bio plasma: 90/100
Cultivation type: Body and Mind
Bio level: 1
Health:100%
“You are very talented in cultivating Bio Plasma Captain; most life forms take days to get to your level.” Fantasma complimented him.
When Gray saw his level, he was quite satisfied with his work, but he had more pressing matters to attend too. So, he spoke to Fantasma. “When can we start the encoding process?”
“Right now, if you would like, but I warn you it is going to be incredibly painful.”
Fantasma warned Gray.
Gray nodded and spoke “That’s okay let’s start.”
