Gray was enjoying the ride, it seamed like he was free. There was no traffic on the road nor was there any need to worry about traffic laws. While Gray was riding, he noticed a gas station up ahead.
“There might be some people hiding there, let’s go and check it out.” Gray spoke to Fantasma as he pulled down on his throttle. Gray had not seen any people for ages, he knew that there were still survivors through what was happening on the internet. But this was not Grays main reason for stopping at the gas station.
‘Gas stations usually sell food and snacks; I must check it out. I’ve been eating leaves for days; I almost thought it was perfectly natural to eat them.’ Gray thought to himself while wiping the drool off of his mouth.
Gray put his guard up, in case he would meet some psycho’s guarding the gas station. This did not really bother him; he was at Bio level 9 and is close to reaching level 10. If he wanted, he could kill them without lifting a finger, all he needed to do was release his Bio Plasma and control it to do his bidding.
While Gray was getting ready for battle, his body started to change. First his eyes went lifeless and his Bio plasma took on a strange and cold vibe to it, there was not even an ounce of killing intent leaking from him.
Fantasma noticed the change in Grays Bio plasma, she knew that they might meet some not so friendly people. Fantasma had been studying human behavior through Grays phone, she had come to a conclusion that they would turn on each other if they did not have the same goals or ideals.
Through the internet Fantasma also saw people sacrificing other humans to the aliens, there was also groups of people going out and hunting others for fun and uploading footage of the whole process. Fantasma saw the human race as a danger to her and Grays existence, all in all she came to dislike humans.
Fantasma did not show Gray this side of her, she plans on assisting him to the best of her capabilities. To do that, she needs Gray to trust her completely.
The bike slowly pulled into the gas station. After looking around for a while Gray did not see anyone, on the plus side this was the type of gas station that had a small convenient store. Gray got off of his bike and walked to the door of the convenience store, he noticed that the automatic doors opened when he got close to them.
“There must be power.” Gray spoke in an excited tone, as he knew that most foods would perish quickly if there was no electricity to run the shops fridges. He walked into the convenience store and looked around but he found no one, all he saw were a few looted shelfs of canned food.
“Is there anyone here!” Gray called out to see if there were any people around. After no response, a sinister smile appeared on his face as he picked up a packet of potato chips and opened it. The sweet smell of the cheese and onion chips made its way to Grays nose, once he got a whiff of the smell.
He burst into tears, he slowly put his hand in the open packet and took out a handful of chips he then slowly placed them in his mouth.
He slowly chewed them as he savored their taste. It should be known that with Grays senses being levels above the average person, the taste and flavor of the potato chips had been enhanced to a whole new level. Their rich flavor had made Grays mind go blank for a second. Once he had finished chewing, he swallowed them, his body instinctually started converting it into Bio Plasma.

Gray did not take long to finish the whole packet of chips, but noticed that they gave him almost no Bio Plasma for the amount he had consumed. ‘It must be that they were over processed, that must have made them loose most of their Bio Plasma.’ He thought to himself as he looked at what the ingredients were.
It should be known that all alien races that know about Bio Plasma store food or Bio matter without using preservatives or chemicals. The Bio matter is ether frozen or submerged in a special liquid that stops the decay of Bio matter completely without compromising the quality of it. This allows for alien races to travel long distances without worrying about their food or Bio matter supplies going bad or expiring.
“Tsk, what a waist. Though it still tastes so good.” Gray said as he clicked his tongue.
This did not stop Gray from eyeing out all of the food in the store, he quickly ran to one of the deepfreezes to see what he could get to eat. To his surprise he found a whole lot of frozen fish, meat and vegetables.
This had made his day. It should be known that frozen food not only tastes good but has a higher Bio value, but his main reason for being happy was that most of the frozen food was protein based.
He not only had to consume less of it to get better results but Gray just loved meat, thinking about him becoming a vegetarian sent chills down his spine. He quickly got a few boxes out of the freezer and went to the back of the shop hoping to find a place to cook them. Cooking did lower the Bio value but not as much as over processed foods.
Gray looked for the door that the employees used, much to his surprise he only found the door to the rest room. “Damn… maybe I have to go to the back of the building.” Gray cursed as he looked around not wanting to let his precious Bio matter out of his sight.
Gray then walked to the automatic door and stopped, he then slowly turned around to look at all the food that was in the shop. His eyes glowed with a grayish blue color, he then breathed out. Gas made of Bio Plasma escaped his mouth. As it was now sun set and the lights in the store were not switched on, one could only see a faintly outlined silhouette with glowing blue eyes and a very dimly lit face from the glowing gas that escaped from his mouth.
“I’ll be back soon. Hahaha.” Gray laughed in a low tone while slowly turning around. This scene was just messed up, it was as if he had come out of a horror movie and was ready to kill. If there was still law and order and someone saw this, they would run for their lives while calling the cops to report about a psycho murderer on the loose. That’s how bad it looked, luckily no one was around to see this.
Gray took a step forward and the automatic door open and he left the store and headed to the back of the building. Now that it was getting dark Gray infused some of his Bio Plasma into his eyes to help enhance is already inhuman vision.
Once he was at the back of the building Gray found the staff door, the only issue was that it was locked. This problem did not stop Gray from sending some of his Bio Plasma into the key hole and unlocking it.
A sound came from the door, Gray then slowly turned the handle and opened it. “On earth there is no door or locking mechanism that could keep me out.” Gray said to Fantasma with a big smile on his face.
“Well, that’s because they do not have any Bio locks in the first place.” Fantasma explained to him. A Bio lock is a lock that only opens to its owners Bio Plasma and remains closed to anyone else. These types of locks are divided into different levels, for example a level 100 Bio lock could not be bypassed by anyone lower than level 100.
This helped to keep one’s goods safe from people like Gray. Though Gray did not even think of committing any crimes when there was still law and order, as he was an average law-abiding citizen. Gray then waited outside for a while before going inside the dark room. It did not take long for him to find the light switch and switch it on. What he saw next had taken him by surprise.
“A gas station with a solar system… man this place is jacked up.” He said this while looking at the battery system in the corner of the room. “No wonder there is power here. I thought it was too good to be true that the power grid was fixed in such a short time.” Gray said this while walking around the cramped office room.
After looking around for a bit Gray had found what he had been looking for, the kitchen which was in the next room. It did not take him long before he started preparing himself a meal that could feed at least 10 people, for Gray cooking was one of his skills as he did not like to order takeout at all. He learnt how to cook when he was just a little boy, his mother had taught him a bit.
Gray used to do all the cooking for his mother and him, the reason for this was that his mom worked late hours and came home tired most of the time. All in all, Gray had mastered the art of cooking at a young age.
It took quite some time for him to get his meal prepared. Soon his efforts had paid off, as he had not eaten a good cooked meal in 18 days. Gray sank his teeth into the food he had made and started eating it into the night.
