Gray looked around the farm house to find a comfortable place to level up his Bio Plasma, in one of the rooms he found a nice spot by a window. “This looks like a good spot to level up. It’s got good lighting unlike the ship and I can see the spot where I landed it.” Gray said this while looking around the room.
After he was satisfied with it, he left the house to get more fresh Bio matter. “Man, I wish there was something better to eat other than leaves.” He muttered to himself, not being too happy about eating tree leaves and not the edible type. He started gathering all the foliage within his reach and put them in a bag.
“Well, that should be enough for me to reach Bio level 2. Every time I level up, I need to consume more Bio matter. Well at least it replenishes on its own without the need to consume more Bio matter.” Gray said this while thinking about how much he would need to eat to get to higher levels.
‘For example, I needed ten kilograms for level 1, now I need twenty for level 2. This is fine in the short run, but once one is level 11 the Bio matter needed would be much more than before level 10 would need. Take level 9 as an example, one would need to eat ninety kilograms of Bio matter, the same goes for level 10 which needs a hundred kilograms.
The difference between them is not that big, but the difference between level 10 and 11 is huge. Level 11 needs two hundred kilograms, that means a level 11 is almost twice as powerful as a level 10 user. A level 2 may hold twice as much than a level 1 but this difference is not that significant, this goes all the way up to Bio level 4.
Once one reaches level 5, they can then use their Bio Plasma externally, this means that a level 5 can manipulate their Bio Plasma to their will inside and outside of their bodies. Also, once one has reached a Bio level, they do not need to consume any Bio matter to replenish their Bio Plasma. Ones body dose this on its own.’
Gray got back to the farm house and started to consume the Bio matter he had. After about three hours he had reached Bio level 2. ‘Now that I can use Bio plasma, I don’t have to slave away trying to sense the minute amounts of Bio plasma that happens in my digestive process, now I can just focus on converting the Bio matter into Bio Plasma so I can raise my level. This process is much faster and a lot easier.’ He nodded his head and got up.
He then went outside again to collect more Bio matter so that he could get to Bio level 3. It did not take him long to get back and start power leveling again.
“Man, this is sort of like a video game with levels and stuff. The only difference is that there is no EXP, but I guess Bio matter is sort of like it.” He stretched out his stiff body before he continued to speak, “it took me almost a day to get to Bio level 5, I wonder what time it is?”
Gray reached into his pocket and pulled his phone out, “that was tiring. It’s now 2am.”
Gray then started making his way back to the ship. After the long and annoying crawl through the small hallways, he made it back to the control room.
“Fantasma are you there?” He called out for her once he was in the control room.
Fantasma appeared by his side before she spoke. “Yes captain, what is it that you need my assistance for?”

“Have you finished making the calculations for the QSTC device?” He asked her.
Fantasma shook her head before she replied. “Not yet captain, it would take me about 3 more hours to finish up my calculations.”
“That’s okay, but for the moment I need you to run a diagnostic on me. I would like to confirm what Bio level I’m currently at.” He asked her while putting on his neural head gear.
“Affirmative.” Fantasma said this while saluting him.
[Gray’s diagnostics]
Race: Human
Bio talent: High
Neural talent: High
Bio plasma: 98/100
Class: Mind-body
Bio level: 5
Health:100%
Quite pleased with his work Gray hummed in a low tone before he spoke. “Hmm… that’s good.”
Fantasma praised Gray with a surprised look in her face. “Captain Gray, your Bio talent is superb it only took you less than a day to get to this level.”
“Is my Bio talent that good?” He asked with a sceptical look on his face.
“Yes, as far as I am aware your levelling speed is quite fast. In fact, it’s much faster than those of your talent level. I suspect that your Bio skill has something to do with your levelling speed.” Fantasma told Gray.
“But I have not awakened my Bio skills yet, don’t they only awaken at level 10? Plus, wouldn’t I naturally know what my Bio skill is when I get to level ten?” Gray said in a confused tone.
“You will just have to find out when you get to level 10.” She said, while gently shrugging her shoulders.
“We will leave that to next time, I’m going to rest for a short while. Wake me up once you have finished your calculations.” Gray said, while walking to the place where he usually sleeps in the ships control room.
“Affirmative.” She replied, before she disappeared back into Gray’s imaginary space. Not long after that Gray fell asleep.
He did not sleep for long before Fantasma had woken him up. “Captain, wake up I have finished all of the calculations.” She spoke gently as she was waking her tired captain up. It did not take much to wake him up as Gray was a light sleeper.
“Have you finished doing all of the calculations needed to send out the message?” Gray asked Fantasma.
Fantasma spoke while looking at him. “Yes captain, are you ready to modify the QSTC device?”
“Yep, where do we start?” Gray asked her, while he stood up from his lying position.
“First you need to take out the floor panel that you are standing on so that you would be able to access the QSTC device, afterwards you can modify it. Then I can reprogram it to send out the message to the Okagos. We also can’t run it for a long time, as to just send out the message we would need to temporally overload the QSTC device to open up an unstable worm hole that has a high chance of destroying half of the ship. This shift in space and time will also reveal our location to the Larcripters.” Fantasma told this to Gray with a concerned look in her face.
Now that she was alive, she did not want to die nor did she want anything bad happening to Gray.
Gray spoke with a soft voice to try and comfort her. “Don’t worry about that I already have a plan for that sort of thing. Let’s just finish what needs to be finished first before we start worrying about what to do next.”
‘The lives of billions of people are in my hands so what if I lose a little, I also can’t give the Larcripters any more time to get stronger on the earth’s resources. If everything goes according to how I planned it. The Larcripters and the Okagos will be weakened after fighting for a long time if not, then it would buy me enough time to grow stronger.’ Thinking this made the storm in his mind become calm.
“Okay captain I will not worry anymore.” Fantasma spoke with a tinge of concern in her eyes.
“Well let’s get things started.” Gray said, while he started to warm up the Bio Plasma in his body.
It did not take long for a greyish blue light that dimly shone to appear on his hands, it started to fall to the ground like a heavy mist. It searched the ground for something before it stopped and not long after a sound came from the metal plate under Gray’s feet. The sound of metal buckling and bending grew louder and louder, soon the metal plate deformed and pealed open which then revealed the Bio reactor and the QSTC device. After that Gray went straight into modifying it.
The major modification he had done to QSTC was in removing its power limiter and rearranging some of its circuits to be able to handle a short spike in power. He morphed the circuits around and moved all sorts of wires around. He managed to do this thanks to being in Bio level 5.
Wiping the sweat of his forehead Gray spoke. “Damn, that was tiring. Fantasma you can start reprograming it.”
“Affirmative.” Fantasma started to work on reprograming it. It did not take her long to finish this whole process.
Fantasma turned to look at Gray and asked. “Captain Gray, what would you like me to send?”
