Chapter 14 Lower profile

Chapter 14 Lower profile

Once Gray had enough sleep, he then started coming up with a plan. Six days had passed since the invasion. Gray and Fantasma did not just sit around during the two days of commotion they caused by calling for the Okagos. Fantasma had learnt all of humanities languages while Gray had reached Bio level 6.

“Hmm… it looks like the Okagos have arrived.” Gray said as he looked at the internet posts on his phone.

There was much less alien activity happening on earth, so people started to come out of hiding. On the internet Gray saw videos of two different types of ships and Mech’s, some extremists even thought that earth was being saved by another group of friendly aliens. Some were even worshiping them and madly running into their presence to be harvested as Bio matter. The whole world had gone mad, some governments had even proclaimed that they were chosen by these so-called higher beings, some countries had started firing nuclear weapons at the aliens and each other.

For the aliens, this was bad news as the nuclear weapons were not too much of a problem for them. The major problem was that their precious Bio matter would be destroyed, the aliens were not too happy with this, they destroyed all of earths weapons of mass destruction before any harm could come onto humanity or to be more accurate their livestock.

“Idiots… at least the only good thing the aliens did, is save humanity from its own destruction in the short run. To think people are thanking them for saving humanity, they are the bigger idiots. No… fools absolute fools, I really hope I don’t come into contact with such people. Don’t they know that the aliens are just preserving their food for later use.” Gray said as he rubbed his head.

“Well, not all of them are completely ignorant as some of them are warning others on the internet of earths destruction.” Fantasma said as she scrolled down on the screen to show the comments of the people who were stating the facts.

“Yeah, that’s the problem. Look at all the people drowning them out with negative comments as such, this one guy is accusing him of being a troll.” He said this to Fantasma while pointing at the comments.

“How far has humanity fallen? Do we even have a fighting chance against the aliens?” Gray said while face palming himself.

“Nope, the chances of humanity surviving the current crises are only 4.5676%” Fantasma had quoted Gray on humanities current chances of survival.

“Hmm… not bad at least it’s nice to know that we are not completely useless.” Gray nodded well looking quite pleased with humanities current survival chances.

“No, Gray that is the calculation I made if all of humanity would unite and face off against the aliens.” Fantasma said this with a stern look on her pretty face.

“Just forget what I said. If things carry on like this we are doomed.” Gray said this with a tad bit of disappointment on his face.

The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.

“Gray why don’t you teach your kind how to use Bio Plasma? Their chances of survival would go up exponentially, that way humanity would have a better chance at resisting the invasion.” Fantasma said this while she looked at him with an expectant face.

“No, I have already helped the earth enough by delaying the alien invasion by a few years. Besides I know the mentality of people, just look at how they are acting already. It would be like giving a fully loaded gun to a toddler to play with.” Gray said in an exasperated tone.

“Besides, if humanity really wants to survive. A lot more people would stop thinking about how to kill each other and start thinking on how to kill these invaders. When that happens people will be able to capture some alien ships and study them to develop for themselves.” Gray said as he continued to speak.

“If we start telling people about the use of Bio Plasma, we will endanger ourselves, not only will it make it easier for the aliens to find us, but other humans would hunt us down and dissect us to see how we tik or worse. But if humanity can stabilize themselves, I might just teach them how to use Bio plasma.” Gray explained this to Fantasma.

“So, Gray what would be the best option for us?” Fantasma asked him while looking at the phone screen.

“The plan? Well, that would be to get ourselves a space ship as it would guarantee our safety. That is why I have decided to get to Bio level 10 so that I can make a space ship, not only will being at Bio level 10 increase our chances of survival. At the moment I can’t really come up with anything better, so the current plan would be for me to reach Bio level 10. While I am doing that, I want you to use my phone to find the best and closest place for us to get the materials to build a simple ship, if you cannot find all the materials to build a space worthy ship, we would have to make do with the next best thing and that would be an air ship of sorts.”

“No problem, I will get to it right away.” Fantasma saluted him while she floated away with Grays phone.

As soon as she left, Gray picked up some Bio matter that was in a bag and started to chow down on it. ‘Damn, I wish there was something better to eat than bitter tree leaves.’ Gray thought as a tear rolled down his cheek.

Now that Gray had passed Bio level 5, normal natural toxins such as protein poisons and other things were no longer a threat to him. This gave him the ability to eat whatever he wants without giving him ingestion. On the down side Grays five senses had also been enhanced, this helped a lot with other things but not with eating bad tasting things as it just amplified the bad taste to make it even worse.

It took Gray about 3 days to make it to Bio level seven, since he had got to Bio level five his body stopped converting Bio matter at the same speed as it was doing before. Gray knew that even if he had the required amount of Bio matter needed to level up, he would still not be able to level up straight away because he was now limited to the speed of which his body could convert it into Bio Plasma. The higher the level Gray got to the longer it would take to level up.

He kept leveling up for another 12 days until he had reached Bio level 9. This was thanks to Grays abnormal leveling speed and his high talent.

The alien invasion had now been going on for about 22 days. A tiny bit of order had been established in some cities and places, though people had stopped hiding together in groups of more than a hundred. If that number is exceeded then the aliens would find them and begin to harvest their prey.

Some governments had tried to get control over the situation but as everyone including their own armies did not listen to them, the world was still in chaos. This did not really bother Gray much as he needed the chaos to build his space ship without anyone noticing him.

Gray had just finished taking a cold shower, the only good thing is that the farm house still had water. ‘This would be the ideal place for someone to take shelter from the aliens for a short while, just as I have done.’ Gray thought this with a sinister smile on his face.

Once Gray was done getting dressed, “Fantasma would you please make sure that you go invisible so that no one will be able to see you.” He asked.

“Okay, no problem.” Fantasma said this with a smile on her face as she went invisible. For Gray he could still see her, it was like she did nothing. He only felt that her consumption of his Bio Plasma had dropped. Other people could no longer see or hear her.

After finishing this Gray opened the door of the farm house and left for his destination that was marked on his phone, he also made sure to keep his Bio profile down so that he would not draw the attention of the aliens. With Grays level 9 body, he could run as fast as 74 km/h for a couple of hours without breaking a sweat.
