Chapter 21 - Prime Vs Hulk [1]

While the green monster stared down the soldiers, Sara noticed they were almost completely covered by the white smoke from the grenades. Additionally, she observed a woman attempting to run towards the scene, but was quickly halted by the military.

Moreover, with her enhanced vision, Sara identified the woman as Dr. Ross, Bruce Banner's partner. Although Prime and Sara's initial goal was to ask Bruce questions, both doubted he could answer any while in this form.

(He looks irritated)

Lost in thought, Sara heard Prime's words and directed her gaze back to the green monster. Just as Prime said, the monster clenched its teeth as its face twisted in anger. It was the first time Sara had seen someone express such fury. While these thoughts crossed Sara's mind, the green monster turned and, after pounding on the glass, it shattered, leaving an opening through which the monster jumped outside.

"He's definitely furious"

With these words, Sara observed the monster unleash a deafening roar, leaving all the soldiers with wide-eyed looks, expressing surprise and fear.

"What are we going to do?"

Hearing Sara's question, Prime contemplated the matter. Initially, he only wanted to initiate a conversation using Sara as an intermediary since it would be strange to suddenly appear and start asking questions about a being similar to Prime.

If the answers were satisfactory, Prime would consider whether to get involved or not to confirm that Sara wasn't just making things up. However, everything went out of control. Prime didn't know how, but he sensed a significant concentration of gamma radiation in the body of the green monster.

It didn't take a genius to understand that this should be technically impossible, as the human body wouldn't withstand such radiation. However, Prime, in a way, had already experienced things he once considered impossible, so this didn't surprise him anymore.

(Let's intervene. Although I doubt the military can hurt him, I don't think the reverse is true. I imagine he would blame himself if he killed innocent people, even if that wasn't his real intention)

Listening to Prime's words, Sara turned her gaze back to the green monster as the viscous slime began to envelop her, providing Sara with a sense of infinite power.

"Are you sure? If we do this, we won't be able to hide anymore. There are probably already people recording this"

Listening to Sara's words, Prime just smiled mentally. To begin with, it was never his intention to completely hide his existence, and he never thought he could do that for long, as this was the era of technology where information spreads like water.

If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. Please report it.

"Anyway, sooner or later, this would come to light. And as long as you're not seen, we can still have a relatively normal life"

With these words, the viscous slime completely engulfed Sara, transforming her into its symbiote form. Turning his gaze to the green monster, Prime watched as soldiers began to fire, using all their weapons against the monster. Surprisingly, the bullets, upon hitting the monster's skin, simply shattered as if made of glass.

"Its skin seems tough enough not to be bothered by bullets"

Prime observed closely as the monster started running towards the shooting soldiers. Then, more military vehicles arrived, bringing high-caliber weapons that began firing at the green monster. Although these weapons seemed to have more effect than the previous ones, it still didn't seem enough to significantly harm the monster.

Charging at one of the cars, the monster knocked down the pursuing vehicle and continued running towards the other soldiers. The second car following the monster was caught off guard when it stopped abruptly, and the monster stepped on the hood, halting it abruptly.

Afterwards, the monster began to dismantle the car, even while still receiving shots from other soldiers. However, this no longer seemed to bother the monster, which persisted in destroying the vehicle. It then tore the car's engine out and hurled it towards another vehicle, which was dragged by the impact and collided with a third car, causing an explosion.

Prime observed students and various other civilians recording the entire scene with their phones, something he expected. Then, a man approached the green monster and started bombarding it with a grenade launcher. The monster, in turn, retaliated by tearing, with its bare hands, metal parts from a nearby structure resembling a house, creating something akin to a shield.

"I guess it's our turn now"

With these words, Prime advanced towards the green monster, landing in front of it. In a swift motion, he ripped the grenade launcher from the man's hands and shattered it.

"Hey, buddy, you're carrying a dangerous weapon there, aren't you?"

Uttering these words, Prime turned his attention back to the green monster and, using one of his tentacles, threw the man away.

"Doctor Bruce, although it's our first meeting, I never imagined it would be like this. Now, the question is, do you still maintain your consciousness while in this form or not?"

Without responding to Prime's words, the green monster roared before charging at Prime, wielding the two metal shields.

"Looks like it's the second option"

The monster began trying to strike Prime, seeking to retaliate. Prime skillfully ducked, avoiding the first blow. When the monster tried a low swing, Prime deftly sidestepped, over the metal shield. In response, the monster continued to charge, attempting to hit Prime repeatedly with the metal shields, forcing Prime to step back to avoid the attacks.

Prime wasn't sure if the monster's attacks would cause him any harm, but there was no need to test this theory. Observing the monster's strength, Prime realized that it might be physically stronger, although Prime had not fully explored his own limits.

It seemed that Prime would have the opportunity to test his limits in a fight against a formidable opponent. However, his goal was not to eliminate the monster but to incapacitate it, as Prime still aimed for collaboration with Dr. Bruce Banner.
