In the godly realm, there was nothing and no one. No time and no space. Nothing except for a rug of white dots like stars in the night sky, and a mist dispersed across the 'floor'. There was nothing...except for three miserable people.
In the dark void, there sat Joel and Mik, their seats next to one another. Mik had his eyes wide open, almost bulging from their sockets as he gazed at the floor. Meanwhile, Joel was sitting with his arms on his legs, a thousand-yard stare directed at the ground.
As for Dolisia, she was sitting in front of the two on her white throne, with a table situated in front of her. On said table were thirty-five empty wine bottles and a half-empty wine glass.
Dolisia was leaning on the table, holding her head with one hand, and her wine glass with the other as she stared at the duo with a thousand-yard 'glare', her right eye twitching ever so often.
Suddenly, a blinding light flashed behind Dolisia before a handsome young man, with medium-length blond hair and blue eyes stepped out of the pillar of light. The young man was wearing a white Roman toga and gold bracelets.
"Dolisia, I have a message." The young man stated, oblivious to what is currently happening.
After a few seconds of being met with no reply, the young man glanced at Dolisia with a frustrated squint, only for it to shift to worry when he noticed the myriad of wine bottles placed on the table in front of her.
"Dolisia!" The young man uttered as he rushed to her side, "What have you been doing?! You'll kill yourself at this rate."
"...Twelve…twelve fucking times, Theo." Dolisia whispered her right eye twitching.
"Oh, right...That." Theo said as he averted his eyes, "Dolisia. I have a message from the All-father."
As the name rang in the godesses' ears, she jolted up from her seat before knocking the table away. She rushed towards the young god to stop him, fear visible in her bulging eyes.
"No, Theo! Wait—"
Before Dolisia could stop Theo, the latter flicked his wrist, after which a holographic figure was projected from the golden bracelet of the young man. The hologram was that of an old man with long white hair and an equally long white beard, with a grumpy frown plastered on his face.
"Hey...All-father. How've ya been?" Dolisia asked, a bead of sweat trickling down her forehead as she cracked a nervous smile.
"How've I been?! Oh, I don't know. Maybe you should ask everyone across the twelve worlds that you just ruined, damn it!" The All-father shouted.
"All-father." Theo said in a disciplinary manner.
"Right...apologies. Anyway, the point is, Dolisia. If you haven't noticed, I haven't been doing so well lately. And that might be, just might be, due to the twelve failed reincarnations that you were in charge of!"

"All-father, I am really...really sorry." Lowering her gaze to the ground, Dolisia said in a depressed tone.
"Sorry? Sorry?! I'm telling you that twelve reincarnations were horrific failures and you're telling me sorry?!"
"I know, All-father. But there was nothing I could've done about it."
"That's the point! That's why you're the goddess in charge of those reincarnations because you had everything to do with it! You're THE overseer goddess! Speaking of which, where are those two?"
"They're...in a bit of a condition right now. They're traumatized."
"Traumatized?"
"Yeah… The twelve reincarnations they went through were failures beyond all comparison. The amount of death, blood, betrayal, and disturbing things that they bear witnessed has broken them beyond all repair. But, to be fair, they were sent to unrealistically difficult worlds twelve consecutive times, and in each, they spent a long, long time."
"Oh for cosmo's sake…"
The conversation went quiet as the All-father furiously massaged his temples, trying his best to calm down. He then took a deep breath and locked eyes with Dolisia once again.
"Dolisia...twelve worlds are practically gone. For those worlds to be saved, those two need to have at least one successful reincarnation, before going back to each and everyone one and trying to fix it. So, in short, those worlds have lost all hope for survival." The All-father stated.
"All-father, I assure you, just give me another chance, and I will fix thi—" Dolisia pleaded, only to be interrupted by the All-father.
"Fix it? Fix it?! Oh, pray tell, and how are you planning to do that?"
"...One last reincarnation…"
"For the love of the cosmos! You want to send those two, for the 13th time, so they can fail again?! Dolisia, you're going to make me burst a vein!"
"All-father, please, I promise you. This will be the last reincarnation."
The conversation between the two deities halted for a few seconds as the All-father began massaging his forehead as intensely as possible. He took a deep breath before speaking:
"Alright...I guess there is no other choice. You have one last chance."
"Yes! You won't regret it!"
"However…" He interrupted with a gesture, "You will be reincarnated with them. Your job as an overseer deity for the past twelve fiascos was enough proof that you're more useful as a supporting character for those two than an overseer goddess."
"What?! All-father, this is madness! A deity doesn't belong in the field. Besides, who's going to be the overseer when I'm reincarnated?"
"I shall, Dolisia." Theo replied before he slightly bowed his head, "I'm honored to work with yo—"
Before Theo could finish his sentence, Dolisia rudely interrupted him by grabbing onto the neck opening of his gown and raising him in the air, shaking him violently in the process.
"Why you son of a bitc—"
"Silence! It has already been decided. If this reincarnation turns out to be a failure as well, you will no longer be a goddess, Dolisia. You'll be demoted to the rank of a heroine, and you will go fix all those twelve worlds on your own...one by one."
With a snap from the All-father's fingers, a portal, similar to a vortex, appeared in front of the horrified Dolisia.
"Your mission starts now. The two heroes will have their memories of the past worlds erased and shall be sent there with no previous recollection of what had happened. Any memory of any event that had happened in the twelve worlds shall also be erased from you as well, however, anything but that will stay the same. Take it as a motivation for you to not fail this time. Good luck, you'll need it."
Suddenly, like a black hole, the vortex sucked Mik, Joel, and Dolisia towards it. The goddess tried to stand still, however, the vortex was far too powerful for her to escape from it. As she was being sucked into the portal, Dolisia mustered up all her energy for one final retort.
"You will pay for this! Fuck you, you fat son of a bitch!" She roared, all of her frustration and anger translated into one simple middle finger before disappearing into the vortex, along with Joel and Mik.
The Last Reincarnation was in motion.
