Many minutes later, Devo soared through the sky with Alice, Lumina and Shira floating shortly behind him, in transparent purple bubbles. Alice and Shira were playing rock paper scissors while Lumina rested her chin on her hands as she watched them, with Shira playing rock and Alice playing scissors. Alice slumped her head forwards and let out a defeated sigh. Alice lifted her head and let out a grown before looking over at Devo. She swam, through the air, over to Devo and grabbed onto his leg, followed by her climbing up his body and wrapping her arms around his neck.
"What is it now, Alice?" Devo asked while keeping his sights set on Xeno, far off in the distance. Alice open her mouth to say something but was interrupted by a strong gust of wind that blew her hair into her face. Devo quickly glanced over in Alice's direction, as she stuck her tongue out and tried to spit out the hair in her mouth. He rolled his eyes.
"You don't need to stick your tongue out at me for telling you to stop asking me to fly faster.". Alice brushed the hair covering her face out of the way.
"That's not why I was sticking my tongue... out," Alice said while pulling a strand of hair off her tongue. Alice spotted something that caught her attention and made her eyes widen. Devo tried to ask her something but was cut off by her shushing him. She grabbed Devo's head and tried to turn his head to look at the thing she spotted. Devo shook his head to shake Alice's hands off and stop in place before he looked in the direction Alice was now pointing.
"Look there it is!". Lumina, while holding onto Shira's wrist, flew over to Devo and Alice before peaking down at the ground. They all spotted a giant green woolly sphere as it was rolling down a large hill. Shira tilted her head while rubbing the back of her head.
"You're probably wondering why Alice made Devo stop and look at the green tumbleweed-looking thing," Lumina remarked. Shira looked at Lumina and slowly nodded her head.
"Well, I'll gladly fill you in on the must-knows of the woolly boars.". While Lumina was explaining that the green wool ball was a Woolly Boar in its defensive mode, Xeno flew over to Devo and looked down at the woolly boar as it bowled through multiple stone spikes that protruded from the ground.
"How'd I manage to miss that," Xeno remarked to himself. Alice glanced over at Xeno.
"Maybe your age is finally catching up with you, old man," Alice remarked as she rested her chin on top of Devo's head.
"For your information, I still have at least seven hundred years before I could even be considered an old man" Xeno responded while doing air quotes when he said the old man part. Alice huffed at Xeno before rubbing her chin in Devo's hair and having a smugly satisfied expression on her face.
"Weirdos," Devo said under his breath; however, Alice and Xeno heard his slight. Alice aggressively shoved her face in front of Devo's face.
"Who're you calling a weirdo!". While Devo was trying to push Alice's face away from his, Xeno shook his head while smirking and quickly glancing down at the ground. Xeno snapped his fingers in front of Alice and Devo to get their attention.
"It does pain me to interrupt your bickering but I'd like to inform you the Woolly Boar is getting away," Xeno explained while pointing behind him. Devo and Alice, with half her face covered by Devo's hand as he pushed her away, looked around Xeno and watched as the woolly boar sphere disappeared behind a hill. Devo and Alice looked at each other before they both sighed.
"That's good to hear, now here's the plan. You two will fight the Woolly Boar up close while I and the others support you from a distance.". Devo nodded his head while bracing his body and the purple aura, being emitted from Zalroth's wings, around the others disappeared. Xeno caught Shira with one of his wings before placing her in his arms.

"Alright, Devo, fall speed ahead!" Alice commanded. Devo rolled his eyes before swiftly flying after the Woolly Boar. Lumina flew over to Xeno before leaning her head next to Xeno.
"Those two really need to realise they have a thing for each other," Lumina remarked; Xeno, Shira and, even BB who popped their head out from under Shira's hood, looked over at Lumina with a confused expression. Lumina turned her head and realised the three of them were looking at her.
"What?". Xeno tilted his head and shook it from side to side.
"You read too much fanfiction, also you're kind of oblivious," Xeno stated before flying after Devo. Lumina look bewildered by Xeno's statement.
"I don't know what stings more, that he called me out or that he didn't even give me a chance to respond.". Lumina continued to complain to herself as she followed after Xeno. Alice continually pestered Devo to fly faster as they were dive bombing. She started to poke Devo's face and do a high-pitched hum in his ear. Devo grabbed onto Alice's collar, catching her off guard and making her blush a little. Before Alice could even attempt to ask him what he was doing, Devo effortlessly pulled Alice off his back before tossing her upwards.
Alice screamed as she sporadically spun through the air with her eyes closed. She abruptly stopped spinning and she quickly opened her eyes. She quickly looked around and noticed that Xeno's shadow ant sentinel was the one who had caught her, although she was surprised by the ant having a shiny silver exoskeleton which made her scratch her head. Her eyes widened when her confusion was interrupted by her remembering Devo had just tossed her.
"Hey Devo, what's the big idea-". As she turned her head she realised Devo was in the middle of holding off an energy beam with a Dual Burning Flash. The energy beam was easily overpowering Devo as it easily pushed his flames back. Devo's arms started to wobble as the energy beam was a few centimetres away from him.
Luckily for him, Devo was suddenly hit by a strong wind blast that knocked him out of the energy beam's trajectory, right as it completely destroyed the remnants of Devo's attack before fading away itself. Devo stabilised himself as Alice snicked to herself.
"That's payback for throwing me," Alice stated while holding her throwing discs.
"Wouldn't letting the energy beam hit me be a better form of payback?" Devo remarked as he fully stabilised himself.
"I considered it but you might've died; also you should probably heal yourself," Alice yelled. Devo quickly opened his mini status and was surprised to see he only had around twenty percent of his total HP.
Devo pulled a Max HP Cube out of his inventory and crushed it causing the HP bar in his mini status to become completely full before the mini status disappeared. The group quickly regrouped and watched the woolly boar recurl into a ball before rolling off.
"Well, that almost went horribly wrong," Lumina mentioned while Xeno's ant sentinel let go of Alice as she started to float.
"Honestly you're getting as reckless as my old man," Alice remarked as she smugly glanced over at Xeno, who was intently staring at the woolly boar.
"You don't need to slight me every chance you get, It's not like I intended to miss your birthday party," Xeno stated as he turned towards the group. Alice angerly puffed up her cheeks for a few seconds and stared Xeno in the eyes, who in turn stared back at her. Alice eventually relented and defeatedly exhaled.
"Fine... I guess it was kinda my fault for making you look for that specific azure gem anyway," Alice quietly and sombrely said. Xeno patted Alice on the head before Lumina loudly coughed to get their attention.
"It's nice that you two made up, and all, but what about the woolly boar!" Lumina shouted while pointing at the fleeing woolly boar. Alice and Xeno glanced down at the spot they last saw the woolly boar before realising it was gone. Lumina pushed the two's faces up slightly until they saw the fleeing woolly boar.
"Oh, you lot think of a new plan while I distract the woolly boar; Shade follow me," Xeno instructed before rocketing off after the woolly boar with his shadow ant sentinel following close behind him.
"Man, not being able to sense mana is a real drag," Alice complained. The others agreed with Alice but Devo told her now wasn't the time.
"Alright... now since the woolly boar just used its energy attack it won't be able to use it for a least fifteen minutes so we got to pin it down and defeat it with a single powerful attack before it can use it again," Lumina stated.
The group pondered and came to a conclusion; they agreed that Shira and Lumina would boost Devo's magical power and then would supercharge a Blazing Impact while everyone else will try to keep the woolly boar in one place. The group quickly split into their respective teams before flying after the woolly boar.
