Devo sprinted through the tunnel, while his body was surrounded by bolts of purple lightning from his Lightning Cloak skill. He parkoured over a large pitfall by jumping from the walls of the tunnel. Shira peered down the pitfall and watched hundreds of shockshell beetles scuttling around at the bottom. He landed on the other side of the pitfall, with the heels of his shoes being only a few inches away from the pitfall.

The moment he took a step forward, the ground below his feet cracked causing Devo to fall forwards, and Shira made a funny eep noise as they both fell. Devo didn't even try to stop his fall and face planted into the ground, with Shira faceplanting into the back of Devo's head. She lifted her head and looked at Devo's hair with a perplexed expression. She slowly moved her hand onto Devo's hair and fluffed his hair BB even climbed down from Shira's hood and touched Devo's hair as well.

"It's so... soft and fluffy.". She fluffed his hair for a few seconds before realising Devo was probably hurt. She hopped off Devo's back, with BB laying on Devo's head, and poked the side of his head.

"Devo...?". Shira, with a concerned expression, shook Devo's shoulder. Devo slowly moved his arms and pushed himself up. He clicked his neck before standing up and picking Shira up.

"Are you ok?" Shira asked as Devo placed her back on his back.

"I'm... fine, Shira.". Devo rubbed his eyes before he reactivated his Lightning Cloak skill and continued to sprint down the tunnel. Shira concerningly gazed at Devo but didn't say anything, and just laid her head on his left shoulder. Devo spotted a group of ant knight golems blocking the exit back to the spiral chasm. One of the ant knights hurled their sword at Devo. Devo, with a tired expression, sighed before hopping to the side and kicking the sword into the air. The sword spun in the air before he kicked the pummel of the sword and launched it straight at the ant knight's head. The sword plunged through the ant's head and it instantly collapsed to the floor.

The other two knight ants tried to slice Devo with their swords but he avoided the attacks by jumping to the side. He quickly jumped off the wall of the tunnel and kicked one of the ant knights in the head with a burning kick. The ant crashed into the wall and Devo slammed the other ant's head into the ground with a burning axe kick. Devo crushed the head of the ant on the floor and stabbed a fire blade through the head of the other ant. Devo collected the loot from the ants and opened his inventory.

"Xeno, how many Rune Stones have you got?".

"Around... a hundred and two, what about you?" Xeno asked over voice chat.

"A hundred and thirty-five, so we can head back now.". Xeno agreed and recommended they meet up in the spiral chasm. Devo asked if he didn't have any Escape Gems, Xeno just sighed in annoyance.

Meanwhile, on the surface by the entrance to the Thunder Cave Dungeon, Alice intensely and intently watched the digital clock in the top right corner of her vision. Nova was now in her casual clothes again and was reading a cookbook.

"One minute to go," Alice whispered to herself. Nova, with Lumina watching with anticipation, was almost finished making some sandwiches and placed them on the table next to her. Lumina tried to grab one of the incomplete sandwiches from the plate. Nova spotted Lumina trying to snatch one of the salami slices and picked her up before she could grab any.

"I know you're hungry but can you stop trying to eat the ingredients.". Nova placed Lumina next to Alice before walking back to the table. Lumina stroppily crossed her arms and laid down on her back.

"Thirty seconds to go...". Lumina slowly rotated her head and looked at Alice.

"Thiry seconds, till what?".

"Oh, it's how long until Devo loses the bet-". A portal opened behind, with the sound it made making Alice close her eyes and her mouth cringed, knowing it meant Devo was back. Alice peeked in the direction of the portal and defeatedly slouched forwards when she spotted Devo. Shira climbed down to the ground and BB jumped back into her hood. Devo noticed Alice was pouting to herself and decided to see what's up. Xeno, Lumina and Shira hurried over to Nova who just finished making all the sandwiches. Devo crouched down, getting Alice's attention and making her lookup.

"Something wrong?". Alice looked away from him and made an obviously fake angry expression. She peeked at Devo a few times and saw he wasn't buying it. She sighed and looked at him.

"Fine... I'm just butt hurt you won the bet, nothing seriiousss.". Devo looked a little confused at Alice's explanation.

"Bet?". Alice looked surprised at Devo. She stood up and grab his head.

"Yeah you know, you said you'd be able to get all the Rune Stones you'd need in fifteen minutes and I said bet, remember.".

"Oh, so you were being serious-". Alice, with genuine anger in her eyes, shook Devo's head sporadically, causing the others to awkwardly look over.

"Of course, I was being serious how could you imply I'd ever lie," Alice said while trying not to cry. She stopped shaking Devo's head and stared directly into his eyes as she waited for his response.

"Well, there was the time when you-". Alice blushed, to the point her entire face turned bright pink and exclamation marks appeared around her head.

"You promised you wouldn't bring that up again!" Alice yelled while slightly crying and shaking Devo's head around. Devo just rolled his eyes and grabbed Alice's wrist to stop her from shaking his head.

"Let's just call it a draw then?". Devo said while letting go of Alice's wrists. She rubbed her eyes and straitened out her dress.

"Well if you insist... and you know what a draw means,". Alice gave a grin.

"Yeah yeah, that means we have to do any one thing the other person demands," Devo said while standing back up.

"That's right and I would like you-". Devo placed his finger over Alice's mouth.

"Can deciding what the demands will be wait, until we get back.". Alice, with a slightly annoyed expression, rolled her eyes and said fine. Nova approached the two and handed them some sandwiches. Devo and Alice thanked her. The group started to eat the sandwiches but as Devo went to bite into one of the sandwiches he paused.

"Not this too." Devo thought to himself. He noticed Alice was looking straight at him.

"Are you not hungry?" Alice asked.

"Not.. really?" Devo said with a mildly confused tone. Lumina's eyes lit up and she raced over to Devo in an instant. She gleefully looked Devo in the eyes. He sighed before placing the sandwich back on the plate and handing Lumina his plate. Before Lumina could head back to where she was sitting, Alice took the sandwich Devo had placed back on the plate.

"Hey!". Lumina looked at Alice with an annoyed expression.

"Devo breathed on this one, so you can't have it," Alice explained. Lumina's annoyed expression faded as she thought about it.

"Yeah, that makes sense... I think?". Lumina continued to think about it as she sat down next to her three empty plates. Alice took a bite out of the sandwich and started to sweat a little as she could tell Devo was judging her. She slowly looked up at Devo who simply shook his head dismissively.

"Wha...?" Alice said as she took another bite out of the sandwich.

"You can be so pedantic sometimes. It's just a sandwich.".

"Tut tut tut. Shows what you know. I swear if you didn't have me around you'd probably get married without realising it." Alice remarked as she finished the sandwich. Devo was left perplexed at what Alice had just said.

"...sure..." Devo replied. The group continued to eat their sandwiches while Nova started to pack up her stuff.

A few minutes later, the group was discussing what they should do now. Alice jumped onto Devo's back, with him not even flinching, and he just glanced at her.

"I know, we should definitely try to catch a Wolly Boar.". Lumina instantly agreed, with Devo and Xeno reluctantly agreeing. Xeno mentioned he remembers seeing one on the way to the dungeon and if they hurry it might still be there. Alice's eyes lit up and she playfully rocked back and forwards. Xeno's cloak transformed into wings and he said he'd go scout ahead before blasting off.

"Do you mind.". Alice stopped while apologising. Devo crouched onto one knee and Shira quickly climbed onto his back, with Alice scootching over. Devo created his wings and started to float. Lumina flew over to Devo and landed in his arms. Lumina looked over at Nova as she opened her menu.

"Aren't you coming with us, Novi?" Lumina asked. Nova shook her head.

"Hunting isn't really my thing, besides your brother sent me a summons,". Lumina got a little excited when Nova mentioned the word summons.

"Really what kind?". Nova gave a deadpan response.

"The kind when he tells me to come to him.".

"Oh, you meant that kind... hehe.". Lumina awkwardly rubbed the back of her head. The four of them told Nova to take care.

"I will.". Nova pressed a button with a house icon on it and she disappeared.

"The return home button works, how convenient," Devo mentioned.

"Although it's pretty useless for you, Mr Wanderer." Alice joked. Devo playfully rolled his eyes, knowing he had no response before the four of them glowed the same colour as Devo's wings and he flew into the sky after Xeno.
