Xeno gave the group a thumbs up as he created a ball of shadow in his hand.

"Sounds simple enough; Tenjiko follow whatever instructions Alice gives you," Xeno stated. Xeno's shadow ant sentinel nodded its head before Xeno turned around and dived bombed for the woolly boar.

"Alright... we'll remain at mid-range and make sure none of the woolly boar's attacks reaches Devo," Alice said to Tenjiko who nodded its head before flying towards the woolly boar. Devo clicked his neck and groaned as he raised his arms in front of himself.

"Alice wasn't kidding when she said the pain tolerance was lowered," Devo commented as he flexed his arms. Shira climbed onto Lumina's back before the two grabbed onto Shira's staff.

"So... are we supposed to apply the magic buff before or after Devo casts his spell?" Shira asked. Lumina opened her mouth to answer but paused for a second as she second-guessed herself.

"It depends on what type of magic buff it is... I think..." Lumina commented. Shira made a worried and slow eep noise, making Devo groan again in annoyance.

Xeno smirked as he dive-bombed directly downward before front-flipping and landing directly in front of the woolly boar, forcing it to stop in its tracks. The woolly boar attempted to walk around Xeno but every time it walk slightly past him Xeno dashed back in front of it.

The woolly boar eventually got fed up with Xeno's shenanigans and raised its foot in an attempt to crush him. Xeno smirked and slammed his shadow ball into the ground; the shadow completely encased the area below the woolly boar.

"As much as I want to use my strongest shadow summon she'd definitely make it very difficult to keep the woolly boar in one place," Xeno remarked to himself before snapping his fingers. A barrage of large shadow chains raced out from the shadow-covered ground and ensnared the woolly boar's legs.

The woolly boar violently thrashed around in an attempt to break free before Xeno slammed his hand into the ground and reinforced the shadow chains and completely restraining the shadow boar's leg's movement.

The woolly boar angerly squealed as its fur glowed before a torrent of energy beams shot out from the woolly boar's fur. The energy beams raced into the sky before being sliced into particles by Tenjiko and Alice, using their golden cutlasses and throwing rings respectively.

"Hey Devo, how long do you think it will take for your attack to be ready?" Alice asked as she looked up at Devo, whose entire arms were covered by blinding, super-dark blue flames.

"I'd say it'll take five minutes," Lumina stated while struggling not to snicker as she spoke. Alice let out a loud confused huh before asking if that was a reference.

"Don't listen to her... I only need twenty-five more seconds," Devo stated as he channelled all the dark blue flames into a small ball; he guided the fireball with his index finger as he pointed his arm upwards.

"Umm... Devo?" Shira muttered before Lumina abruptly flew away at a freakishly fast speed. Alice glanced upwards and noticed the stance Devo was in before repeatedly tapping Tenjiko on the back of their head. Devo sinisterly smirked as the dark blue flame sphere instantly expanded to two hundred times its size. Alice blinked a few times before tapping Tenjiko on the back of their head again.

"Can you tell my old man he should probably get away from the woolly boar? Oh, and can you get out of Devo's way?" Alice requested. Tenjiko nodded their head before mentally calculating the trajectory of Devo's attack before flying out of the way.

Xeno was faintly sweating as he continued to hold the woolly boar in place when a pop-up appeared in front of his face.

Xeno tilted his head as the pop-up disappeared and glanced upwards before spotting Devo's attack.

"Oh..." Xeno released his hands from the ground and instantly flew up into the sky.

Devo smirked became even more sinister as he pulled his arm back and balled up his hand into a fist.

"Blazing Death Bomb," Devo said callously before hurling the BDB(Blazing Death Bomb) at the woolly boar with enough force that it sent out strong gales of wind. The woolly boar struggled and strained the shadow chains until they snapped into pieces right as the BDB careened into the woolly boar's back. The BDB pushed and dug the woolly boar into the ground. Devo reached out his arm with an open palm.

"Can you stop horsing around nobody likes a tryhard?" Alice unamusedly asked as Tenjiko and Lumina flew over to Devo; Devo rolled his eyes and closed his palm before a massive towing wall of dark blue flame erupted in the area behind Devo.

"Who's the one being a tryhard here?" Devo inquired with a sarcastic tone, making Alice pout at him.

"I'll show tryhard," Alice muttered under her breath as everyone, including Tenjiko, received a hunting loot screen.

"Seems like that went well," Xeno commented as he flew over to the group.

"It could have gone worse," Alice remarked as she floated over to Devo and clung to his back.

"Indeed but we should probably head back to the Metal City now," Devo stated before Alice opened up a menu and sifted through her friends list until she found Nola. Alice clicked on the request to teleport party to button.

The request was almost instantly accepted and shortly afterwards a transparent blue cube appeared around the party. The cube went opaque and obscured the space outside the cube as everyone flew down onto the floor of the cube.

"You know I'm pretty sure there wasn't a teleportation cube when you teleported to Devo," Xeno commented as he leaned on the wall of the cube.

"That's because I cancelled the request right as Devo accepted it causing us to be teleported with the transport cube... I think," Alice explained as she rested her chin on Devo's shoulder. A thought suddenly shot through Alice's mind and Devo sighed when he sensed Alice's impending question.

"It only just occurred to me, even though Lumina said you needed to beat the woolly boar with a single attack it still seems a bit freaky that you were actually able to do that... just how many buffs did you have anyway?" Alice asked with an intrigued tone as she poked Devo's face. Lumina placed her hand on her chin and tried to count how many spells she used.

"I'm not really sure, we kind of lost track at the fifty mark," Lumina remarked while giggling. Alice was about to gasp but stopped herself when she thought about it.

"Oh yeah... I think I remember reading in the newest update notes that Devo's race would allow for him to stack the same buff multiple times, that still seems a little broken to me but I'm not complaining," Alice muttered as she closed her eyes and fell asleep.

"It's only been a few hours and she's already asleep," Lumina remarked before turning to ask Xeno a question and realising he was also sleeping. Lumina sighed in disbelief and shook her head.

"Is it a genetic thing or something?" Lumina wondered to herself.
