[Conquest Begins]
These poor centaurs had no idea what was coming for them. Alex wanted to bolster his numbers knowing that in 29 days he would have a ‘newbie trial’ which he is pretty sure is going to be some kind of monster wave.
The Centaurs had a decent enough plan, but he could tell that their leader was also a newbie, and instead of using the strengths of his race with this large, open field. The leader of the enemy territory had them stay inside their territory to defend.
Alex was a little impressed at the territory, however. He is a lord of the same level as the Centaur King, but his territory has no improvements. He still has only his [Lord’s Manor] and [Summoning Gate].
This Centaur King has quite a few buildings inside, but more impressively he already has a wall for fortification. Although the building and the wall are made from wood, any defence is better than no defence.
Unfortunately for the Centaur King though, no wall is enough to stop his incorporeal assassins from terrorizing the village.
Upon Alex’s orders, his 5 [Wraith] had been sent to gently persuade the enemy into joining his army.
He had also sent down his [Spectre] just in case the enemy planned on running away, they were there to [Terrify] and [Debilitate] in order to slow them down.
The Centaur King had a reasonably sized force of about 30-40 at first glance, it was unlucky for them to come across Alex with his incorporeal army.
“You can’t kill what you can’t hit. It was Sun Tzu who said that, right?” Alex mused.
The battle didn’t last long before he received a notification.
[Centaur King has Forfeit]
[Congratulations on your victory]
[Rewards]
[500 PvP points] x10
He wondered why he received 500 PvP points this time and after looking through some information in the PvP tab, it seems that because a [Conquest] is considered harder to win than a [War] the rewards are better. He would definitely be focussing more on [Conquest] for the time being.
Never one to turn down better rewards, he now had an extra 5,000 PvP points to spend.
After being transported back to his territory, he looked over what the [Wraith] had managed to accomplish.
Joining his army was an additional [Wraith]x3, [Spectre]x5, [Ghost]x5 and [Banshee]x2

He was immediately excited about seeing new followers he hadn’t had yet.
After going through the details of his new addition, a while later he once again found himself with very little to do, only this time there were no more [Skeletal Hound] for him to play with.
Thinking of something to do that’s when he had the best idea he had ever had in his entire life. It was perfect and it would be just what he needed for his territory.
Alex wanted another pet.
Quickly scrolling through all the menus he could, he wanted to see what options he had...
If you encounter this narrative on Amazon, note that it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
[Skeletal Dragon] - Too expensive.
[Skeletal T-rex] - Maybe later? Definitely later.
[Skeletal Hamster] - Too small?
[Skeletal Horse] - Boring...
He was scrolling and scrolling, there were some great options but nothing really spoke to him.
He went through the PvP Shop looking for more inspiration but there weren’t many options he could see for a pet. Mostly just different troops he could buy.
He scrolled through a little more before something caught his sockets.

“Holy shit,” he thought to himself, those stats are on par with [Bael]. It looks like Alex is going to have to start paying more attention to the PvP shop if these are the kinds of things he can expect!
Adding the [Giant Basilisk] to his basket, he had 1500 more points to spend, and it was going straight into spells.
Going through the list once more and filtering it through, his goal this time was to get a bigger army. What good is a necromancer with a small army?
Some necromancers will tell you it’s not about the size of your army but how well you use it. Those necromancers are just lying to make themselves feel better about their tiny. little. army.

He quickly made the purchase and a large tremor could be felt through the ground as a large monster broke through the surface.
Its eyes were glowing a dark red, it had pitch-black scales which seemed closer to thick plate armour than regular scales, and a long tongue flickered around as it was sensing its surroundings. Horns protruded from the crest of its head, possibly signalling a draconic descent. Its gaping maw was adorned with giant fangs easily longer than a person. Its body upon slithering out of the ground was over 40ft long and it was as thick as an elephant.
This really was a monstrous beast, with this by his side, he would easily strike fear into anybody that he would come across. He thought for a moment before saying “I shall call you...”
“NOODLE!”
[Are you sure you want to assign [Giant Basilisk] the name [Noodle]?]
“Hahaha! Of course!”
