Alex had 5 minutes to prepare for war which was quite a daunting task, however, he had a plan.
He gave out his orders. He and the [Skeleton Mage] are to position themselves on the top of the sand dune to the left.
His [Skeleton Soldier] are to position themselves at the bottom of the sand dune, standing between him and the enemy, creating a defensive line.
The [Zombie] are going to charge and head towards the enemy army and play the role of sacrifice, hopefully giving the enemy a false sense of security in their strength, causing them to charge.
The [Wraith] are to hide behind the sand dunes which are located in the middle of the two armies, and once the battle starts they are to follow up with a pincer attack.
The [Skeleton Archer] will position themselves behind a sand dune on the right and prepare.
Once the enemy has engaged the defensive line of [Skeleton Soldier], the [Skeleton Archer] will begin their attack from range, the [Wraith] will attack from behind and the [Skeleton Mage] will spread [Poison Mist] over the bulk of their forces.
This was the basic plan that Alex had formed, and it should work well enough providing the enemy army isn’t overwhelmingly strong, or immune to poison.
Once the 5-minute prep time was up, a large war horn sounded, signalling the start of the battle.
Without needing more communication, the undead army set about their tasks in unison.
Although the sand wasn’t easy to walk over, it didn’t pose too much of an issue for the skeletons. The arena this time was quite advantageous to Alex and his army considering how light a skeleton weighs and the fact [Wraith] can float.
Once Alex got to the top of the sand dune he had a much better view of the battlefield. It looked like his opponent this time had an army which was smaller than his. Alex’s prediction was correct that he would be put against players of his own level.
The only difference was that the army on the opposing side seemed quite a bit more durable than his.
It looked like the enemy he was facing this time was quite sturdy. They were too far away at the moment to tell what race they were, but each member of the opposing army was quite thick and seemed well armoured.
It didn’t take long before everybody was in position and the [Zombie] began their attack. As suspected it didn’t take long for them the fall in battle. They really live up to their cannon-fodder nature.
Just as Alex planned, the enemy army had began to march. Perhaps if Alex was in their position he would do the same. They had easily bested the initial force sent out, and after Alex had hidden half of his remaining forces, it only looked like there were 16 of them left.
The march of the enemy was very slow, the sand was taking its toll, which was another reason for Alex to wait for his enemy to come to him. A full march into battle will sap the stamina of an army.
When the enemy army reached roughly the halfway point, he had a better idea of who he was facing.
Small in stature, with green and yellow skin, he was pretty sure it was a small army of goblins. This was good news for Alex as a goblin's main strength seemed to be how agile they could be, as well as their reproductive speed.
In a war with limited numbers and a desert setting, all of their main strengths had been cut off.
Soon after, the Goblin army engaged his defensive line. Signalling for the start of the operation, the [Skeleton Archer] began their attack.
With the sudden appearance of another force, the goblins began to panic. Withdrawing from their all-out attack on his [Skeleton Soldier] and focussing on defending the incoming arrows.

Then there were cries from behind as the [Wraith] began their attack, draining the life force from the enemy soldiers.
As the Goblin Army was doing their best to deal with the attack on three fronts, and the Goblin general barking out orders, presumably this is xXxPu$$y$layer69, a thick green mist descended over the battlefield.
With all four of these factors in place, there was no hope for the Goblin army to win this fight. Their eyes were burning, their lungs were burning, and they had been unable to catch their breath or muster any strength due to the [Poison Mist] which had no negative effects on Alex’s army.
Within minutes, the entire Goblin army of roughly 30 were on the receiving end of a one-sided massacre.
[Congratulations on your victory]
[Rewards:]
[100 PvP points] x10
Alex laughed to himself, it seemed that the 10x multiplier really would be his saving grace and his ticket to strength.
With a flash of light, he found himself back inside his territory. What made him even happier was that with the 5 [Wraith] that accompanied him on this battle, they had worked wonders and among his small army now were some extra troops.
There were now [Ghost]x4 and [Spectre]x3.
[Spectre]
[Spectre Life: 10]
[Spectre Damage: 0]
[Spectre Defence: 0]
[Trait: [Incorporeal] [Phase Shift]]
[Skill: [Haunt] [Terrify] [Debilitate]]
[Phase Shift]
[Teleport yourself anywhere within a 30m radius instantly - cooldown 10 seconds]
[Haunt]
[Haunt a target causing them to slowly lose their mind. Can cause [Insanity] if haunted for an extended time - Cooldown 24 hours]
[Insanity]
[Unable to differentiate between friend or foe, those who suffer from Insanity will have a tragic and often gruesome ending]
[Terrify]
[Inflict a target with fear, causing them to be unable to fight or defend themselves for 30 seconds - cooldown 3 minutes]
[Debilitate]
[Cause your target’s movement to slow by 30% for 1 minute - Cooldown 3 minutes]
Although the [Spectre] can deal no damage, having a group of these in an army could cause anarchy with the enemy.
Alex was very happy with how his [Wraith] had performed and planned to make them the star of the show in the next PvP which would be happening very soon.
But first, he wanted to check out what he could get in the PvP shop with the 1000 PvP points he has.
Just as Alex had hoped for, the PvP shop is amazing. He can buy anything from soldiers to blueprints, to spell books. They range from the quite cheap (50 PvP points) to the wildly expensive (5,000,000 PvP points).
The first thing that Alex was interested in was spell books. Right now he didn’t have enough materials even if he wanted blueprints, and as for soldiers, he could create his own already. Though he may look into the higher-level soldiers at a later date.
Scrolling through the spell books there was an endless amount of them, but luckily he could filter them which came in handy. After looking around for a while he had the option of buying a few lower-level necromancy spells, but instead, he decided to spend all 1000 points on a higher-level spell which he believed would be an amazing addition.
[Cursed Ground - 1000 PvP Points]
[Cursed Ground Level 1]
[Curse a 20m area of ground with dark energy]
[Cause 20-30 damage every second]
[Causes Fear]
[Causes Slow]
[Causes Blindness]
[Undead in the area will gain life back]
[Undead in the area will gain a 10% damage boost]
This spell is absolutely broken for a necromancer. The only problem was the 20m coverage area, however, for Alex, this isn’t a problem. With his 10x multiplier, this will be a 200m area of death for his enemies.
Now it’s time to test this out in a battle. Alex signed himself up for another PvP, but this time he wanted to assault a territory.

With a flash of light, Alex found himself in a large and open grassy flatland. It was quite reminiscent of his own wasteland, only this place wasn’t devoid of life.
