When the notification start to fade, Acma saw a huge, black pair of jaw that closing in towards his neck. Now he remember, he was still fighting against a black giant centipede when he was transported.

“Looks like the time was frozen in the Realm of Void. No wonder I have to fight against this centipede again when I returned”, he thought.

“Hmmmph”, without losing his composition, he snorted a little and made his move.

'PHANTOP STEP”

He moved on top of the black centipede’s head. Without further delay, he impaled vertically the third segment of it’s body, half a meter from it’s head to the ground. Then, with another ‘Phantom Step’, he move to it’s tail and impaled it with his another weapon. Now the black centipede was unable to move anymore, only wriggling it’s body, left and right. Before long, it stop moving, abandoning any hope for escape.

Acma decided not to kill this black centipede, because he want his minion to finish it. Standing on the back of that centipede, he began to wonder, which minion should he pick to kill this centipede. While he was still thinking, he look at the crack on the wall of the storage, where all these giant centipede come in. Then he jump and walk toward it.

The crack was too small for him to crawl through it and it was too dangerous for the goblins to investigate it. So he decided to use a mapping sphere.

“Alice, can you go and check what is behind this wall?”

Alice flew out from his chest and answered, “Yes Master”.

The spheres immediately activated and flew through the crack.

“Hmmmm… still the same as the usual Alice. Looks like nothing was change after Void merge with her. Lets find out”.

“Alice, is there any change with you?”, he asked.

“I’m still running a thorough check on my main frame and still in the process to transfer several terabyte of data from my secondary database to the main frame. So far, no problem detected”. Then she continued, “However, I got a notification when we return to this mine, saying that I’ve got a new ability”.

“That’s it”, Acma thought. Then he asked, “What kind of ability?”.

“I’ve got a ‘Teleport’ skill. The description stated that I can teleport Master to any marked coordinate. Master, is that a glitch or a problem with my system? Should I delete it?” she asked.

“No, keep it as it is. It will be a great help to me in the future”.

“As you wish Master”.

“Haha, this is really great. Alice has evolved into a better support character. It will be greater if she can learn other support skills like heal or boost”, a genuine smile appear on his face. He really happy with Alice’s change.

While waiting for mapping process done, he finally found the best candidate to kill the remaining centipedes, the Elder and the taller goblin. He smiled wryly when he realized, he didn’t know much about the goblins. Those two were the only goblin he talked with before.

He walked toward the storage entrance and kicked any centipedes away from the entrance. Those centipedes were on their last breath, so he only kicked them lightly. Then he called the Elder and the taller goblin to enter the storage. Without waiting too long, both of them arrived and they politely greeted him.

“Milord, you look different”, said the Elder.

“Eh?”

“My apologies, Milord. What I meant was your armor look different from before you enter the storage. My apologies again because I didn’t speak clearly earlier”, explained the Elder.

“Owh, Haha. How much difference did you saw?” asked Acma. He was also curious about what the Elder said because he didn’t have time to check his suit after returning from the Realm of Void.

“Milord, your current look gave a kind of dangerous and intimidating feeling. Especially the eyes, I don’t dare to stare at it, because it feels like my soul will be sucked away. If I don’t know Milord, I will definitely stay away as far as possible”, explained the Elder.

“That sound dangerous”, said Acma slowly. Then he carefully examined the outer appearance of his suit.

Unlike the original plain look, it’s current appearance was definitely much better. It was imitating the human anatomy, giving an impression of tough and strong human. The muscle on the chest, abdomen, arm, waist and other parts of body, could be seen clearly. The joints was covered by a soft armor making it easy to move the limbs. Acma was really happy with his new look.

“Alright, let our business done as fast as possible. Elder, take this knife. I will let you experience your first evolution”, he said as he hand over his Sword Breaker to the elder. If his deduction was right, the Elder will have his first evolution at level 10.

After the Elder took the knife, Acma brought him to the half centipedes scattering around the storage. To avoid any mishaps, Acma carefully pressed his leg on top of the half centipede body to avoid killing it. Then he ordered the Elder to stab it until it died.

The Elder was nervous at first, but after killing the first centipede, a cowardly look was completely erased from his face and replaced by a strong determination. They move towards the next half centipedes. After he got his fifth kill, his body was enveloped by a glow of light, indicating that he was undergoing his first evolution. Acma was right. The goblins did evolve after level 10.

After he took his knife from the Elder, Acma asked the taller goblin to take it. Then, he use Phantom Step and brought the taller goblin on top of the black centipede’s head. After a word of encouragement from Acma, the taller goblin gave a loud roar as he stab the black centipede. Unfortunately, the knife was too small to kill it with just a stab, so the taller goblin stab it repeatedly, until his body also bathed with a glow of light. The black centipede finally died and the taller goblin was experiencing his first evolution.

While waiting the evolution process to complete, Acma checked his armor’s status. “Identify: Freedom”.

“Alright, you will be called Old, which mean experienced, wise and charisma. You will continue to lead your community”, said Acma while looking at Elder Old. Then he look at another hobgoblin, “As for you, you will be called Shield because you will guard all the goblins inside this mine. Work together for the properity of your people”.

“Thank you Milord”, said both of them with a clearly satisfied look on their face. They finally broke a new record in their clan’s history and become the first one who evolve to hobgoblin.

As Old and Shield talking to each other, Acma went towards the crack and the hobgoblin followed after him.

“Alice, how’s the mapping going?”

“There is an extremely large underground cave, 500 meters behind this wall. The mapping process will take some time to finish”, replied Alice.

“If that is the case, retrieve all mapping sphere. We will map that cave again in the future. And also, please prepare the Teleport spell, we will teleport to the mine’s entrance shortly”

“Yes Master”.

Acma turn his body facing the hobgoblin and taking out all the loots he got from the cow heads and the centipedes, except the upgrading items and mana cores. Then he gave a special forces knive to both Old and Shield.

“Take all of this and equip your community. I will give you a better equipment if you show an improvement when I return”.

“Yes Milord”.

“Master, the spell is ready”, said Alice slowly.

“Lets go”.

As the light enveloping his body, he close his eyes. When he opened it again, he already at the entrance of the mine. A sudden bright light made him squinted his eyes a little until he familiarized himself with the surroundings. Looking at the bright sky, he silently calculating the time he took from the moment he leave the villa until he leave the mine.

“It’s less than 4 hours. But why the sky look like it still in the morning. Right now itshould be afternoon already", Acma was puzzled. The position of the sun also didn't change much.

"Was the length of the day different from the old world?", he thought.

"Lets confirm about this later. Now, lets rush to the Orca Village. We will use Silent Trail to reach the village as fast as possible”, he turned his body and run towards the mountains at Northeast direction.

“Yes, Master”, said Alice as she flew behind Acma.
