“What are you doing here? Are you following me even to this Land of the Dead?”
“I’m with you Master, but not in the Land of the Dead, but inside the 4th tunnel”
“What!!! 4th tunnel??? Am I still alive?, he thought.
Hearing Alice’s word made him confused because he was pretty sure that the 4th tunnel has collapsed. But, was he really that sure? He just heard the sound, but not actually saw the tunnel collapsed. He also did not feel the first contact with the collapsing stone with his body.
“Alice, are you sure we’re still inside the 4th tunnel? Are you sure that I’m still alive?” he asked repeatedly.
His premature conclusion earlier maybe due to his tired mind and injured body, so a confirmation from Alice was what he wanted the most. He patiently waited for the answer.
“Yes Master, we’re still inside the 4th tunnel and Master was pretty much alive. However, Master’s internal organs were injured, so I suggest Master to take a rejuvenation pill immediately”, replied Alice.
“Haha, I’m still alive. My body!! Urrgh!!”
Acma was trying his hardest not to scream although the pain was unbearable. The moment he felt relaxed that he still alive, the pain returned and bringing an imaginable strain to his mind. A searing pain inside his body almost made him fainted.
He quickly took a rejuvenation pills and then staggeringly sat in lotus position to meditate. Slowly, he gathered all his internal energy and circulated it across his body to heal his internal wounds. Using meditation to heal wounds have long been practiced by humans since ancient civilisations like in India or China. Acma learnt them from his father when he was young. Looks like he was saved by what he learnt from his father again.
The rejuvenation pill was prepared by his mother who was proficient in ancient medication. Although modern medicine was advance, but ancient human achievement in medical science was something that could not be ignored. Those rejuvenation pill was made base on several ancient pills found in a tomb of unknown emperor in China. Somehow her mother got her hands on that pills and researched it. Only after several years of painstaking research, she successfully replicated the effect of that ancient pill.
After almost 30 minutes, he managed to force out all bad blood from his injuries out of his system and coughing out several mouthful of dark red blood. Only then the pain subsided and Acma finally could take a deep breath. He was out of any dangerous situation but he still need to take a good rest to let his injury to be fully healed.
He lied down on his back, spreading his arms to his side. Lying down on the floor after a dangerous and heart-wrenching fight was really comfortable, felt almost like in heaven. Acma just stared at the ceiling, emptying his mind and he stayed like that for several minutes.
“Alice, why this tunnel is still intact? I really thought it collapsed like the other sections”, he asked.
“This tunnel and the throne room was built separately from the other sections. Furthermore, the materials used also sturdier”, replied Alice.
“Built separately? Then what about the last booming sound? Where does it come from?”
“That was the sound of the floor of the treasure hall crashed down. There was a deep hole under the floor. After the ceiling cave in, the floor couldn’t handle the weight and collapsed. Its depth was approximately 3 kilometres into the ground. When I probe it earlier, there was an underground river at the end of the hole”.
“Deep hole under the floor? I wonder if I step on the trap you warned me that time, all the treasure will be gone”
“I can agree with that. Master, shouldn’t we get moving?”
“Let me rest for a while”, said Acma. He really tired and the pain was still killing him. This fight against the python was really a dangerous one.
“The python!”, he finally remembered about that angry python.
“Alice, what about the python”, he asked his fairy who was playfully hovering above his chest. When it heard Acma’s question, it stopped and replied.
“I don’t know, Master. Should I go and check now?”
“No need, it probably dead already under those rubbles” “Okay, Master”
If the python still alive, there should be some movement. But, since Alice didn’t notice anything about it, indicated that it should be dead. Other than that, there were two more ways to confirm it.
“Open: Inventory”
Acma was still lying down on the floor, trying to get as much rest as he could. Watching the inventory panel in his sight, he was nervous. He prayed ‘that’ thing was there. If it wasn’t, then the danger was still lurking somewhere under those rubbles. He already customized his inventory panel when he got time earlier so the new addition would be shown on the front page. The older items were already divided into separate sections like weapons and armours, accessories, raw materials, ingredients, medicines, potions and others.
On the front page, he immediately located ‘that’ thing. It was the Sawa summon card. When he saw it, he immediately felt relieved because the python king was definitely dead. He took out the card and identified it.

If it goes by the previous world game standard, purple beast should be considered as Epic class beast while orange was Legend class. Alright, I will go with this setting”.
Acma opened his summon panel and put the card on his active summon. Currently, he have 4 active summons and Sawa was his strongest summon. However, he didn’t rush to summon it because the place and time wasn’t suitable. He had to wait until he was outside the tomb later.
He closed the summon panel and contemplating about what to do about his summons. Previously, he prioritized to upgrade Silver which currently a tier 4 Elite beast because it was an agile attacking beast. Only one more tier to go then he could upgrade it to Epic class. His Stone Golem was a tier 5 Elite monster while his Blood Lizard King was a tier 1 Elite beast. Both of them were suitable as defensive summons. He already checked the requirement to upgrade from tier 5 Elite to tier 1 Epic. The only thing needed was a mana crystal from an Epic beast, and it happen that he had one from killing Sawa. He found that an elite beast dropped a mana crystal instead of mana core unlike the lower class beast. With an appearance of superior attacking beast, he was thinking whether he should upgrade Silver from Elite to Epic class first or upgrade Sawa from Epic to Legend class.

“I have to think about this later”, thought Acma. He still couldn’t come out with the answer yet.
While thinking about his summons, Acma could feel that his internal injury was healing way faster compared to previous world. He suspected it was related to the system implemented by the overseer to increase the rate of survival among the human races. The stronger he became, the faster he would recover his health.
“I wonder how much I level up this time”, he muttered. When he was running from the explosion earlier, he didn’t notice the ‘Ding’ sound at all. That’s why he didn’t know whether the python was still alive or not.

“Haha, that’s a really nice level up”, he was amused. Killing a high level beast gave him a huge boost to level up although the risk also higher. Even a smallest mistake might claimed his live.
“Looks like my wounds almost healed, I should get going now. Lets go, Alice” “Yes, Master”
Acma stood up and walked toward the throne room. When he reached the dragon wall, he grabbed the pearl and gave an order to Alice to teleport. His target this time was the exit of the valley. After 10 seconds, Alice’s voice could be heard.
“Teleport”
Almost instantly, Acma appeared at the exit of the valley. In front of him was a sea of trees as far as he could see. At the corner of the forest, he could see a human settlement which supposed to be the Orca Village. As far as could remember, Orca Village was indeed in that direction. Since the village was already in sight, the only thing left was to reach it.
On the horizon, the sky was covered by the colour of dusk and the night was fast approaching. Watching this beautiful scenery brought peace and calm into Acma’s heart. However, it also mean that Acma have to reach the village as fast as he could or he have to travel through the forest at night. Its not like Acma was afraid, it just inconvenience to do so. Why go through a trouble if he could do it in easy way?
“Summon: Sawa”, said Acma. Sawa was the best choice to reach the village as fast as he could. In addition to its fast movement, its high level could make all other beast or monster to scampered away. Acma was pretty sure that no other beast or monster as powerful as Sawa within the forest.

One announcement after another made Acma smiled brightly. He already saw the might of these skill when Sawa used them in the battle before. What intrigued him the most was the first skill which was a passive skill.

While Acma was checking his new skill, the python already materialized in front of him. It still have the same look as before. Watching the huge python in front of him, Acma couldn’t help but smile brightly. It was a great summon.
He jumped onto its back and said,
“Lets go, Sawa. To Orca Village”
