Chapter 61
Mini Omake POV Diana (For those who read the last story will understand)
200 Years ago, When JoyBoy and his Gang Arrived to Haven
Me: THEY HURT KARA! I’LL FUCKING KILL THEM ALL!
Minister: Diana-sama, how? They take no damage no matter what we do!
Me: I’LL DO IT MYSELF!!!
I was MAD. MAD MAD. How dare they hurt my little sister?!
Me: FIRST I’LL KILL THEM WITH FIRE. THEN I’LL FUCKING NUKE THEM TO MAKE SURE THEY STAY DEAD!!
That was how Joyboy died.
Back to the Present in the New World.
POV Enri
Father: Run!!!!
Why? Why was this happening to us?! The bandits came and killed our villager.
*slice* *thud*
I can barely hear but I think I heard my father be cut down. I couldn’t give in to grief…I can’t lose hope. Not for me but…
Me: Nemu! You’ve got to keep running!
Bandits: Chase them!!! Whahhahaa!
Me: NEMU! We’ve got to keep running!!
Nemu: Sis!
*trip*
She tripped. I knew the soldiers were right behind me but I didn’t care. Just like how father laid down his life for us, I was willing to do the same…if I can just save my little Nemu…
Bandit: Wahaha! Look, this bitch’s got some tits!
*slice*
I felt a sharp slice of my back. I felt myself lose strength but I covered Nemu with all my strength. I heard the metallic sound as the bandit raised his blade again…but the sound never came.
Instead, an ominous sound came instead. I decided to open my eyes and look back. From a dark oval portal which seemed peer into nothing came a girl. A girl much younger than I was…but different. Her head and body was covered in a cloak but I could make out her seemingly blue eyes which seemed to change to different shades by the second…and her white hair which seemed divine. Her pale lower face which I could make out looked like an angel, almost enough for me to forget the situation we were in. Almost.
I wanted to yell at her to run away but I also realized that she chose to come here.
Bandit: Who…who are you!
?: Depends on your first impression. Hero, God, Demon, etc; just because I say I’m one thing does not mean I am the same to you. For example…
She turned her face to look at me. I stared into those beautiful eyes which looked like gems before I realized I was staring with a dazed expression.
?: I might be a hero for her…but for you on the other hand…
*thud*

The bandit was suddenly pressed against the ground, choking. But it didn’t stop there. It looked as if he was being flattened by an enormous force. His sides starting to bulge as the force above him continued to press him into the ground.
Bandit: Mercy… *splat*
Eww…maybe I shouldn’t have seen that.
?: Well, I guess that was to be expected. Now Rise Warrior, and serve me.
As she said that, a transparent green ghost in an elaborate full armor rose from the corpse from the bandit and knelt in front of the girl.
?: Kill the bandits in the village and save the villagers
The thing just nodded before rushing off towards the village.
?: Looks like you’re hurt…Enri Emmot.
What? How does she know my name?
?: I have a bit of an ability you see? But that is not what is important. It looks like you got a nasty cut on your back. If you let that be, you’ll bleed out to death you know?
As the adrenaline faded away, I felt the pain on my back. It was excruciating but the girl just handed something to me. A red liquid that had a surprising resemblance to blood in a vial.
?: It’s a healing potion. Not poison or blood Nemu.
Nemu: It’s not?
?: No. The potion is going to save your sister. You want your sister to be alive, right?
Nemu: Yeah!
*chug* *heal*
As I chugged down the vial in fear of the taste of blood, I felt the magic work on me. I felt the wound cleanse and close, all without pain. When I looked back, even my clothes were fine. What magic was this?
Kara: I guess I should introduce myself. I’m the White Sovereign, Monarch whatever. But you can call me Kara.
WHAT??!!! She was the one of the twin Monarchs’? What was she doing here in this crop dusting village?
Kara: I’d appreciate it if you don’t tell anyone though, alright? I’m taking a break right now and I’d rather not be found out.
As she smiled, I just nodded to show that I understood.
Kara: Good, and here’s just an extra something for protection for when I’m not here.
She handed me a horn and a drum. While the horn looked pretty typical, the drum was a traditional leather drum, with a symbol that looked like the nose of a pig on the side.
Kara: The horn is for small trouble. The Drum is for big trouble. They’ll summon goblins and orcs respectively to help you. You will have their complete loyalty so no need to worry about that, ok?
I nodded.
Kara: Now then, let’ go back. Summon Worker
Suddenly, a dozen shadows leaped out of her and formed the shape of vague humanoids.
Kara: Gather the corpses into the middle of the village, villagers on one side, bandits on the other.
Like the warrior before, they took off running to the village.
Kara: I think it’s pretty much done. Should we head back now?
POV Kara
As I headed back to Carne Village with Enri and Nemu, I had this sense of amusement. I had pretty much taken the role of Momonga when he first arrived into this world. It was honestly a strange feeling, after all, we didn’t really have much of an opportunity to bother Luffy as we liked in our previous life.
Once I was there, I saw that all the bandits were slaughtered and piled on one side and the villagers laid out on the other.
Kara: Is this everyone?
The shadows nodded. I used Observational Haki just to make sure…I sensed no more dead other than the ones who were here. Good.
Momonga didn’t revive the dead villagers since he didn’t want to expose himself as a Magic Caster of that caliber, or that he didn’t even know that resurrection magic even existed in this world, or how it was viewed. I think he also mentioned he didn’t want to use the One-time item “Wand of Resurrection”. A good point since losing such an important item (not in game but in real life) would be devastating. I don’t blame him but I’m also not in the same situation he was.
While the other villagers looked at me in confusion and in mourning for their lost ones, I walked up right to the dead villagers.
Chief: Um…excuse me miss, but who might you be?
Enri: Chief? Could you please come here for a second? I don’t think you want to disturb her.
Me: *Silent Cast: Art of Rinne Rebirth!*
I didn’t need the gigantic head of the King of Hell to pop up anymore. In a way, I probably had more power over the dead more than he did. After all, the eyes were literally the 6 Paths of Reincarnation. Add that to the World Tree which can cleanse and pass souls onto the next life, I was perfectly capable of doing this.
Slim bodies of light entered the dead villagers as they woke and looked around. After that was the typical reaction of a loved one coming back from the dead.
Chief: Thank you…thank you!
Me: It’s no problem. I just did what I needed to do. Besides, it looks as if the bandits are back…more than a hundred of them.
Chief: I know this is shameless, but could you please save us?
Me: Relax chief, I didn’t save you just so your people so they will die again.
Present Time
POV Kara
As we didn’t go meet the bandits outside the village, in the end they came to us. It wasn’t the Sunlight Scripture and Nigun, but it was close enough. Besides, this was a crucial moment for the Arcanian Empire as well.
Me: You sense it too, don’t you Gazef?
Gazef: I do. Their movements are too organized to be called bandits. They’re moving in formation and their weapons too advanced.
Me: So you still don’t get it warrior captain?
Gazef: ?? I’m afraid I don’t
Damn this idiot. Why are the strong people in this world also so dumb? Can’t they connect one dot to the next?
Me: Look. You don’t have your sacred treasures. Next, they send you out to this village with the least men you can take against a large bandit force you have no idea how large. Now, you’re looking at bandits which are better organized than the Kingdom’s army. Doesn’t that ring a bell anywhere?
Finally. The looks on his face told him he understood.
Me: Yes, someone’s trying to kill you. Or rather perhaps it’s an entire faction, hmm?
Gazef: But why would they…I’ve done so much for the Kingdom!
Me: You did a lot for the people Gazef. Serving the people doesn’t put money into the nobles’ pockets. Looks like this was all just a nice trap to kill you.
He looked down as he realized I was telling the truth. Well, it was mostly the effect of my voice on him but he took it as the truth anyway.
Me: For now, I recommend you fight them, then ask questions later. Besides, it looks like your men has some connections to the Black Market.
I pointed at a soldier who looked taken aback and then in shock.
Soldier: No! I would never!
Gazef: Search his pockets.
Out from his pocket came a few healing totems. The very same ones Dressrosa sold.
Me: A product of Dressrosa, I still question why your King outlawed them when their entire army are equipped with them. Interesting.
I turned back to the approaching bandits where a guy who seemed like the leader started yelling out some stuff.
Newun: I am Newun! The notorious Bandit King! Hand over Gazef and we will spare your village!
Me: Which Marquis sent you?
Newun: I said I’m a bandit!
Me: Was it a count?
Newun: Look! Just hand over Gazef
Me: Ok sure!
The rest of them looked at me in shock but I wasn’t done yet.
Me: I’ll trade him for all of your lives! And that’s a discount!
The men behind me started laughing as I taunted the seemingly bandits.
Me: Alright, enough playing around. I don’t have time for this. I’ll offer you one chance at a deal okay?
They just looked at me in confusion.
Me: It’s real simple. Surrender or die. Mind you, it’s not going to be a quick death either.
I purposely held back my malicious intent and haki. I needed them to underestimate me and think I was bluffing. It worked.
Newun: Men! Kill them!
Me: Kneel
*thud* *thud*
Me: Slice open your stomach
Many of them were trying to resist but there was simply too much of a level gap between up.
Newun: Please! I’ll pay you anything! I’m very influential in the Kingdom! Marquis Cammus told us to do this! It wasn’t us it wa—
Me: Silence
His mouth slammed shut as he finished taking off his armor and then cut open his stomach. As the bandit began to bleed out, the soldiers and some villagers (who decided to fight) just looked at me in shock.
Me: It’ll take a while, but I did tell them what will happen if they do not surrender, no? I would be a fool if I do not uphold it, so do not blame me Gazef.
Gazef: I do not
Me: Well, at least now you know who it was that ordered them to kill you. Quite a shame really, that your own ruling class is trying to kill the best defense they have against us.
Gazef: Us? As in you are our enemy?
Me: Perhaps, but it was nice meeting you Warrior Captain. I’m afraid our next meeting will not be pleasant like this one.
I lifted my hand and summoned ‘Gate’. As the churning black portal appeared in front of me, Gazef asked before I went through.
Gazef: Will you mind telling me your name?
Me: You wouldn’t know it anyway. But people call me the White Sovereign.
As the sound of confusion and chaos from the soldiers sounded behind me, I walked through the portal back into Vanir.
I saw sis right there upon the black throne, sitting next to an empty white one. As I sat down, she smiled at me.
Diana: All done?
Me: All done. Tell the elders it’s time for war.
