Chapter 59
POV Arche
Me: Please! Let me in!
Guard: I know you used to be a student here but you aren’t anymore. I can’t let an outsider go into the Academy
Me: I need to meet Master Fluder immediately! Please!
Guard: I said you can’t! Didn’t I?
Me: I’ll push in with force if I have to! It’s that urgent!
I tried to threaten them with my magic. After all, they knew who I was. As a third tier magician, I was way above most humans in magic. Yet, this was the guards of the Imperial Academy. There was no way they’d let a former student do something like this. Moreover, this was close combat. Mages were weak and vulnerable in close combat.
Then, an unexpected savior came, the person who I was looking for.
Fluder: Arche, what a pleasant surprise.
Me: Master Fluder! Please…please help me!
Fluder: Guards, let her through. I know her good enough that she won’t act like this without reason.
Guards: Ahh…oh course Fluder-sama
They bowed. Of course they would; this was Fluder, the best Wizard of mankind. Hope of all magicians. Of course now he might not have the impact he used to with the Arcanian Empire taking over everything…with their rulers still completely hidden as well. Fluder will remain Fluder.
We walked up to his private office in silence. When he closed the door and offered I sit, I began my story.
It was almost like a scene in a nightmare until I found the note someone left for me. My father dead, mother out, and my little sister…god…they were gone. Of course, I didn’t give a shit about my father but if my beloved little sisters were harmed in any way…I would kill them. No matter who they are.
Me: So the letter told me to find you. It told me you would understand.
Fluder: Child, I’m afraid I don’t know what you are talking about. I don’t know why anyone would do that to your family.
His face and expression told me he really did not know. But how could this be? No…wait, I didn’t tell the ‘word’ yet.
Me: It told me you would understand this word. ‘Alexandria’

The look on his face changed from shock, surprise, to a very confused face. One in which he knew what it was but rather a question of how I know.
Fluder: That would explain the way they died but why…would
He didn’t finish his sentence and looked at me. He didn’t need to. I understood.
Why would someone like that approach me?
Me: Master…I must know! I need to know where my little sisters are, please!
But it didn’t work. He was lost in thought.
Fluder: Do you have a hidden talent? Perhaps something of worth to them? Tell me and I will ask for permission.
Permission? The Tri-Arts Fluder, the very same Fluder, needs to ask Permission? Who was this, to make someone like that, have to ask permission.
Me: I don’t know! Take to me them!
Fluder: Silence! This is not a matter I can decide alone! You cannot simple walk into the realm of gods without permission! Why do you think the Empire was almost erased off the map?
Ahh, so was that what had happened? Thank God we didn’t choose to take that request. We could’ve been in a state worse than death, who knows what could happen there.
Me: Whoever they are, they gave me permission, didn’t they? They found me. This is an Invitation! Take me with you.
It was utter bullshit, but I was hoping it was correct. That my beloved little sisters were doing fine.
Wait for your older sister you little potatoes, big sis is coming to you.
POV Kara
5: We have completely integrated and taken over the Adventurer’s Guild and nationalized it. While there were many concerns regarding the treatment of the Adventurer’s, once they heard how we will change the system, complaints were quickly reduced to none.
3: Undead Labor Rental has been facing a massive increase for heavy labor work. We have requested Moria to create a stronger low-tier undead to bring about maximum efficiency regarding this. In order to collect more dead bodies, we have declared the body of all people their own property. They can either wish to be buried, burned, or turned into undead to serve who they want; however the last choice will come with a time or generation of maximum of 4 Generations before their body is transferred to the Government’s property for the price of performing ‘turn undead’ for free.
Me: The Nobles?
4: While we cannot abolish Nobility overnight, the strength of the nobles have decreased dramatically. Stripping the noble title of the Emperor and giving him the status of ‘Minister’ worked in our favor. We expect that within 5 years we will be able to get rid of the nobility system. All we need now is to release their bad deeds one by one into the public and reduce the reputation of the stronger nobles and let the lower ones tear each other apart.
Me: Then we’ll need a Dark Horse to do the job, won’t we?
3: Yes, we have a list of degenerate nobles who have the potential to do great harm to the Kingdom.
I took the list he handed me when I saw a familiar name.
Me: Phillip. No man better to fuck up the country better than Phillip.
POV Diana
Kara was in a meeting with the five elders regarding the Empire. Meanwhile, I was here talking with the Librarians in Alexandria.
There were lots of them here but the head librarian was named Hemingway, after the famous poet. I thought it would be easier to remember him that way, and it worked.
Hemingway: Diana-sama, how may I help you? It is not often you come to the library
ahhh…why do I feel guilty? It was true though. I was always to sports type while Kara was the bookworm…relatively. That didn’t stop her from creating planets and throwing them at Joyboy. Still, it was true that Kara came to the library much more often than I did.
Me: I came to discuss a theory that Kara told me. It’s regarding mana for mortals…and if it is proven true, then the knowledge must never leave this Haven.
She told me this theory was not was caused her awakening, but it was close. A theory on regarding mana which could give someone so much power…without us ever interfering.
Hemingway: Please explain…I am keen to hear this.
Of course he was. He was technically a sane and wiser version of Fluder.
Me: Tell me, how do you store mana?
Hemingway: Inside me, I suppose?
Me: Personally, I wish Kara was here since she’s so much more of an expert on this than I am but I’ll try my best.
I took a deep breath before I recited what Kara told me.
Me: There is no specific organ or place where you store your mana. Every part of you stores a limited amount, when added up, becomes the total amount of mana you store. Right?
Hemingway: Yes, that is the basic understanding of it.
Me: Ok, and once you deplete your storage of mana, the mana is naturally absorbed into you again. From the air, food, potions, and whatever form of injection. Correct?
Hemingway: Yes…?
Me: Kara told me, she has a theory about modifying this way of storing mana. Think about it…Imagine if there is a box. Once you fill it to the brim with water, what happens next?
Hemingway: The water will overflow.
Me: Yes, and the box will not be able to hold any more water than it’s volume. Up until now, history has been trying to increase the volume of this box.
Hemingway: Is there a better way to increase the amount of mana?
Me: In a way. I’ll explain after. Now, imagine the same box…but it’s in a pool of water, but the box is still empty. Can you explain this?
Hemingway: The box is heavy and the depth of the pool is low?
Me: ehh, yeah that works. Now, I want you to cut two holes into the side of the box. What will happen?
Hemingway: The box will overflow with water. But overflowing a person with mana will kill them.
Me: Yes, and this is where Kara’s theory comes into play. Create a third hole, but this one in a way that water can only leave.
Hemingway: Excuse me?
Me: With the flow of water entering, leaving the box indefinitely, you create an infinite loop. Where any amount of mana you spent is instantly refilled…but it can never go over the limit of the volume since…
Hemingway: The third hole will always pump out the extra. But how will she achieve this?
Me: She’s going to make many parts of the body push away most forms of mana. A special form of mana that rejects the natural form. With this she wants to try and create a pathway which will create a mana loop.
Hemingway: Genius…
Me: I know right? I don’t know how she’s going to pull this off but…if this is true and safe…
Hemingway: The potential for infinite mana…how glorious is it for me to witness Kara and Diana-sama’s revelations.
Me: Begin researching the possibility of it happening. Make sure to never leak it to the outside. And that includes Fluder. Understand?
Hemingway: Of course Diana-sama.
