"Good morning, sir. I'm looking for a quest to take on in a level 2 zone."
The guild master nodded. "Good morning, Knox. We have a quest that might interest you. A group of goblins has been raiding a nearby village. We need someone to take care of them before they cause any more damage. It's a level 2 zone, so it should be a good challenge for you."
Knox listened carefully, his eyes lighting up with excitement. "I'm up for it. What do I need to do?"
The guild master handed him a mission scroll with all the details and instructions. "Take this scroll and read through it carefully. It contains all the information you need. Once you're ready, head out to the village and take care of those goblins. Good luck, Knox."
Knox thanked him and left the guild, feeling excited and ready for his next adventure. He knew that goblins could be dangerous, but he was confident in his abilities. He prepared his gear and supplies, double-checking everything to ensure he was ready for the mission.
As he set out toward the village, Knox couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation. He was eager to put his skills to the test and prove himself. When he finally arrived at the village, he could see the destruction that the goblins had caused. Buildings had been burned, and people lay dead all over. He quickly stopped himself from reeling, continuing to walk forward in search of the goblins who had caused this.
Knox had been searching for a new adventure, and the guild master had just given him an exciting quest. He was tasked with taking down a group of goblins raiding a nearby village. It was a level 2 zone, meaning Knox must be cautious and vigilant to complete the mission.
The guild master handed him a mission scroll with all the needed details and instructions. Knox read through it carefully, ensuring he had all the necessary gear and supplies before leaving for his journey.
Knox knew he had to act quickly. He moved silently through the village, scanning his surroundings for any sign of the goblins. He could hear them chattering and whooping, their voices carrying through the empty streets.
Knox approached them carefully. He waited for the right moment, then killed the first goblin by piercing him through the heart, dying instantly. The others turned to face him, their eyes wide with surprise.
The air was thick with tension as Knox stood firm, his eyes locked on the goblins surrounding him. The battle had been raging for an eternity, but he refused to give up. He was determined to protect the innocent villagers who depended on him.
With lightning-fast reflexes, Knox dodged the goblins' relentless attacks with grace and precision. His movements were calculated, and every step was taken with purpose. He knew that one misstep could mean his downfall.
But Knox was not easily defeated. He fought back with all his might, delivering deadly blows with punches and kicks. With each goblin that fell, he felt a surge of adrenaline and a renewed sense of purpose.
Despite the chaos and danger swirling around him, Knox never lost his focus. He knew the village's fate rested on his shoulders, so he had to be solid and unwavering.

After the battle was over, Knox searched the village for any survivors. He walked through the destroyed buildings, calling out for anyone who may have survived the goblin raid. He searched for hours, but all he found was death and destruction.
As he was about to give up, he heard a faint whimpering sound. He followed the sound and found a small boy hiding in a corner, clutching a stuffed animal. The boy was the only survivor of the goblin raid.
Knox approached the boy slowly, trying not to startle him. "Hey there, little one. Are you okay?" he asked softly.
The boy looked up at him, tears streaming down his face. "My mommy is gone," he sobbed.
Knox kneeled beside the boy. "I'm so sorry for your loss. But you're safe now. I'll take care of you," he said gently.
The boy looked at Knox with a small glimmer of hope. Knox picked him up and held him close, feeling a sense of responsibility wash over him. He knew he couldn't leave the boy alone in the village.
Knox took the boy with him and left the village, making his way back to the guild. He knew the guild would care for the boy and ensure his safety.
As he walked, Knox felt a sense of guilt. He had been so focused on completing the mission that he had overlooked the human cost of the goblin raid. He promised himself never to forget the innocent lives lost in the battle.
Knox arrived at the guild with the boy and explained the situation to the guild master. The guild master assured Knox that the boy would be cared for and that he had done a great job in the mission.
“No! I want to stay with him,” the boy pointed toward Knox.
Knox told the little boy, "You can't stay with me. I'll keep fighting monsters like the one that destroyed your village." Knox knelt to the boy's level, adding, "Moreover, you cannot use the System yet, so you won't be able to level up."
The boy asked, "Do you mean the thing that pops up when I think about the menu?"
Surprised, Knox stared at the little boy and asked, "You can see it?"
The boy replied, "Yeah, Mommy said I'm special."
Knox was taken aback. He told the guild master, "I'll take care of him for the time being."
“A-alright, take care, Knox.”
“You too, guild master.”
