The ground started rumbling and shaking as the canyon caved in. Sophie activated all her movement buffs and ran away from the epicenter. Humphrey started teleporting away and was picked up by a large winged Statch. Bella hopped into Clive's rune tortoise Onslow and they flew up.

From there, they could see the entire plateau caving in. It was like the entire rock bottom just disappeared and let the rock fall.

After the dust had settled Clive stepped out and recorded where the rock had disappeared.

"Guys, look at this." He extended out a large sheet that mapped out the former cave.

"These marks are too regular and large to be anything but a building manifesting and dematerialising. The question is how and why. I don't know what will happen to Jason, but my guess is he was pulled into an alternate dimension again," explained Clive.

Humphrey shook his head.

"My mother wanted me to follow him. How the fuck am I meant to when he keeps shifting into alternate dimensions?" Humphrey furiously growled.

"Humpy, remember what happens when Jason has no idea what he's doing?" said Sophie.

"He becomes insufferably smug, says a bunch of things I still don't understand, ignores all warnings, gets help from gods, and ends up succeeding against all odds?" gambled Humphrey.

"Exactly."
