Ayva wakes up cold at night. They are very close to Red Crown now, they have been going slowly because of the safety of the princess. However, tonight, Ayva wakes up alone.
Confused, and on edge, Ayva took out his knife.
Everything was quiet. The campfire has gone out.
He half expected something bad has happened.
It is that bad premonition that is bad for his heart.
Hearing a noise, Ayva quickly activates his skill [Hide].
Tonight, Eliza was supposed to wake him up after her shift was done. Eliza takes the first shift and Ayva takes the second, but no one wakes him up.
Slowly, with the knowledge of [Hide], Ayva pulls the cloak high enough to cover his face. Then, with knife in hand, he approaches the source of noise.
...It is Leonel's tent.
Feeling a bad premonition, something tells Ayva to turn back, however, swatting that away, Ayva steps inside.
"Leonel, are you alrig-"
In the middle of the camp, in Leonel's arms were two beauties. On his left was princess Aries, and on his right was Eliza.
"Let me reiterate. Do you prefer a bountiful piece of grass land or a flat plain that is nostalgic of home?"
'Did that guy choose both?' Is what was going through Ayva's mind at that moment.
However, that train of thought was disrupted by a pair of eyes looking back at him.
Eliza was awake. She just finished her shift.
Eliza stares at Ayva.
Ayva stares at Eliza's half-dressed state.
"You pervert."
Eliza told him.
----------------------------------------
And for the rest of that night, Ayva couldn't get a wink of sleep. He didn't wake Leonel for the third shift either, scared of actually walking into that kind of scene. In the morning, the boy was haggard, his eyes bloodshot.
"Ayva, are you alright?" Leonel asks. Ayva flinches back at the touch. Seeing his childhood friend like that, Leonel frowns at the scene.
"I'm fine. Let's get going to Red Crown."
"Why didn't you wake me up for the third shift last night?"
"I thought to let you sleep in. Come on, it is alright, two shift is nothing. When we get to Red Crown, we are sleeping in door, I would catch my sleep then."
For a moment, Leonel looks conflict, however, finally he flashes a smile.
"Thank. I know I can always rely on you."
In Ayva's mind however, a million train of thought was running.
'How bold'
'Have they progressed that far?'
'How did I not know?'
'If this become a frequent thing, won't I become a voyeur?'
'Won't Eliza hate me if I become a voyeur?'
'Will princess Aries execute me?'
'Will this be a common occurrence?'
'Could I get some sleep from now on?'
At that moment, Eliza was looking at Ayva from afar with narrowed eyes. Slowly, she walks next to him and whispers
"I couldn't believe you are a man like that. However, I won't tell the rest."
Ayva looks at the rest, feeling cold. The cold has returned.
Stolen story; please report.
He can't wait to get to Red Crown.
----------------------------------------
Red Crown was a big city for the country boys and girl, Leonel, Eliza and Ayva. However, Leonel was composed as if he was all too used to such occurrence. Princess Aries smiles at Ayva and Eliza amused. It was like she was laughing at the country hick
To be honest, Ayva does not have any excuse.
He has seen bigger and more magnificent grand architecture that made a city.
However, years of chopping wood and a quiet life has made him forget what a city is like. He was like a deer in the headlight.
It was all familiar, all the people, all the business, everything.
"Ahem," Princess Aries coughs to get everyone's attention.
"Let get going."
In Red Crown, the knights from the capital who would join their expedition to escort the princess back to the capital would be waiting.
The new knight, along with Micah, Leonel, Ayva, Eliza and Aries, will create a 6 member party. It was starting to get big.
They will be waiting at the biggest inn in Red Crown that is reserved only for the richest merchant.
To be honest, Ayva does not see the point of that.
The princess was almost assassinated one. Wasn't the best course of action is to go underground and disguise themselves until they reach the capital?
[Evra] knows a few [people] who could [arrange things]. In a moment, the entire party can disappear in any random alley.
However, that was a sleep-addled mind speaking. In a moment, Ayva realizes that he was not [Evra] the rogue, he does not have any of that kind of information.
However, his instinct told him that it was a bad idea anyway.
But, in the end, Ayva was a person who went along with the flow.
----------------------------------------
When they arrive, Ayva was extremely tired. It was a safe place, Ayva was almost falling asleep while walking.
"Hang in there, we are almost there." Leonel pats his back.
"Why are you so weak Ayva? It was only a night." Eliza complains. Even the princess was looking at him with a disappointed eyes.
Lazily, Ayva's eyes track a person in the room.
It was a nondescript woman approaching them, with her hair tied behind her back in a pony tail. For inexplicable reason, Ayva feels that he can't take his eyes off her.
In a moment, the woman starts running, and Ayva's eyes become wide. Immediately, he found a knife in his face.
"To be a princess guard, you have to be on guard at all time. With such a weak appearance, how can you be worthy?"
The strange woman stated.
The woman's right hand was on Ayva's shoulder, preventing his movement while the left hand was in his face.
"I am Aeana, the knight sent from the capital."
Realizing what was happening, Ayva was pissed. At this point of time, these people are even playing these kind of dangerous game. Pissed as well as venting his tiredness and frustration, while the woman was holding his right hand, Ayva punches the woman in the stomach at point blank range with his left hand without any starting distance whatsoever before anyone could react
