"I don't know..." Ayva mutters.
----------------------------------------
The party encounter a strange sight at the cave entrance. A giant wall of ice blocks the entrance while mist is emanating from behind the wall.
In Ayva's head, there was only one thought
'So that is how you use it in real life.'
While people are trying to find a way through, or figure out what the ice of wall is, Ayva already figures it out
"It is the effect of [Ice Wall] and [Frost Curtain]."
"[Ice Wall] and [Frost Curtain]?" Leonel asks
"They are extremely powerful defensive ice magic. If the school of Fire magic is offensive, ice is defensive as well as-" Ayva was about to say debuff but realizes people won't even know what debuff mean
"-temporarily draining your strength, making you fight less then optimal."
In game, both Ice Wall and Frost Curtain are defensive spell. Ice Wall grants a 40% block to the entire party. It is separated from the player avatar's individual block too. If an enemy gets over the Ice Wall's 40% block, they will then face the player's own stat or something like that.
Frost Curtain is the most powerful debuff spell a mage has access too, however, it is not a [Break Limit] skill. As for its effects, 60% reduction in accuracy and 50% reduction in dodge. It is extremely powerful but costs a lot of mana in game.
If Ayva is right, the caster of this spell having NPC stat sheet can probably do this constantly without stop.
...It is probably why the NPC in game does not have access to these powerful skills.
However, what does Ayva knows about defensive and debuff spell anyway.
After all, with [Evra]'s build being stupid, her fellow party members share the stupid too.
[Agade] the elven sorcerer playeravatar has 26 INT, 6 more than the actual limits of 20 in the game in exchange for every other stats being limit to 8.
That is to say, Agade has a a Stat spread of 8 STR, 8 AGI, 8 END and 26 INT. And her STR, AGI and END can't be increased any further. 10 is the actual avetage every player avatar should have, that mean, Agade has to wear the lightest beginner leather armor meant for rogue. She has the least HP in the party, as well as the least defense. If an enemy actually target her, Agade will be hit, no question about it.

Also, Agade is equipped with only three spells
[Fireball 3]
[Aurora Lightning Strike]
[Hypnosis 3]
[Fireball 3] and [Aurora Lightning Strike] are pure offensive skill with Fireball 3 being an aoe skill and Aurora Lightning Strike being a single target skill. Except for the utility of Hypnosis 3, there was not a single point into the defensive and debuff skill trees.
Was it stupid? Probably, however, it was a game.
Because of that, Ayva only has tertiary knowledge of the other path. He honestly only knows about the effect of Frost Curtain after being hits with it.
"Is this also the knowledge of [Evra]?" Leonel murmurs.
"[Evra]?" Micah asks
"It is nothing sir Micah, let's focus on the task at hand. Do you know of anyway to get to the princess then Ayva?"
"If I'm right, she is probably the caster. We should just approach them. Even though it is a wall, I'm sure the caster is aware through it." That is what his instinct tells him anyway.
[Evra]'s instinct, he corrects himself.
Leonel smiles.
"Yes. Then let's wake up the princess sleeping behind the ice wall."
The party walks forward, with Ayva next to Micah and Eliza next to Leonel.
When they approach, as expected, the wall shatters.
The caster can see through it.
And from it, a girl in a white dress and a tiara runs out in tear. She was spreading her hand extending for a hug. Sir Micah looks flustered as if expecting it. Ayva was expecting it too, because he thought Micah was the only one the princess knows here.
However, the light blue hair girl ran past both of them.
With an extended hand , she jumps and hugs Leonel, the most handsome of them all.
"My hero!"
"Wait get off him bitch!"
At that moment Eliza starts her protest. Even Leonel was flustered, not knowing what to do as the princess pulls his arm close to her.
Ayva is not sure what he is looking at. He has probably expected a harem in an isekai yeah, but it is probably not that. He did not expect to actually be on the side this time.
Handsome people really has it easy.
Craning his head 45 degree, Ayva pats the back of the downlooking sir Micah who looks like all his soul has left his body.
'There there buddy. Been there done that. Let's join the not-handsome men club.'
And the hero gets the princess
