He sat up and attempted to listen for anything, but didn’t hear anything that sounded like either friend or foe, just the silence of a sleeping village. Though, what did catch his attention was a small notification on the corner of his vision, that he seemed to have glanced over in his haze yesterday.
“Status,” Leo said, not expecting the flood of information to fly by his face.

[EXPAND LIST]
He looked on in shock seeing the casualty list of just one single blow, so much death as just the highlight. Leo tried clicking the expand list to see just how high the tally was, but no matter how far he tried to scroll there was always more to show, a truly obscene amount of monsters and creatures slain.
Leo knew his blow would have casualties, but even if most of these were violent creatures, this was far more than he could have ever predicted. Though this time, he felt less guilty over the sacrifice. Despite this taking much more life, Leo knew he couldn’t have just let David go and allow the world to be at risk.
However, that was not enough for him to simply shrug his shoulders and carry on. Leo moved his focus towards his status screen, seeing an update on his current state and condition.

Leo felt his body quickly, realizing he had in fact healed up from most of his injuries, with only minor damage of some cuts and bruises still left on his body. With only 10k experience he could limit 80% of his strength, so Leo couldn’t help but think that maybe he could have a way to live life without constant destruction of his surroundings.
Though before he leaped at the opportunity, Leo looked at the class category with an inquisitive glance. While before it claimed he was too inept to have one, now it seems to just show that he has none. Leo wondered if maybe there was a class that could not only help him manage his strength, but perhaps help him fight without endangering anyone nearby.
“System, can I buy a class?” Leo asked, hoping to get some answer.
Before him a new screen appeared, showing an option to spend EXP to get a class. Lifting his hand to the screen, he moved a slider that increased just how much EXP he could spend to increase his odds for getting a class he wanted.
“I want a class that can help me manage my strength, so I don’t hurt anyone innocent,” He said, hoping that maybe the system could understand his request as he moved the slider as high as possible.
With every piece of experience he had on the line, Leo pressed enter and saw two spinning screens that ran through thousands of words a second, each one a unique class. Koram told him that everyone’s class was unique, so Leo could only assume that with how much he put in that his class would be perfectly tailored for him.
The first spinning wheel came to a stop, showing the word “BARBARIAN” in a bold font. Leo couldn’t believe it, perhaps this was a mistake considering how a raging brawler is the opposite of what he wanted to be. He held hope that perhaps the second portion of his class could be better suited for him, even if he couldn’t see how much one could change what a barbarian is.
Leo didn’t feel shocked, happy, nor disappointed when the last portion of his class finally appeared. He was simply confused, as to what it meant to be a “BARBARIAN OF CHAINS”.
Thankfully, as if it could sense his confusion, below his class title was a short description of what his class focused on.
[Barbarians of Chains are an extremely rare class combination, where one surrenders physical power in return for benefits and bonuses.]
Leo read on, his face widening into a smile as he saw what his new class did for him. His mind instantly went into thinking of all the possible benefits, of giving up a fraction of a fraction worth of power and being able to cast powerful spells.
Though he did need to figure out how exactly to use his new abilities, he was certain he could spend the day doing so. Leo decided to head back to sleep for now, having spent his EXP and hoping that a bit more napping would help him recover from the rest of his injuries. Of course, sleeping is easier said than done, as his mind raced at what exactly his new class would enable him to do.
