Even for someone like me, I still have to balance out my lifestyle instead of focusing solely on being a shinobi. So instead, I decided to join Sam Maximus's Vacation to Nihon and enjoy the journey. In the meantime, I had been told by my cardinal, Lala to always be prepared for anything. Lala has always been a methodical person. She thinks things through before executing it. She reconsiders everyone else suggestions and see whether it is beneficial for everyone involved. But most importantly, she cares about our wellbeing. I think that's why she told me to always prepare myself even in this peaceful and relaxing time.
Even so, I still decided not to wear my usual dark garb and instead a smaller outfit for this hot burning afternoon. I have no intention to swim so I'm definitely not wearing a swimsuit. What I'm wearing now is just a modified shinobi outfit that I have carefully made for the past few weeks.
I thought of multiple designs. The design which was I end up sticking to was a simple pair of loose pants that only covers to my knee. There are some pockets on those pants alongside a belt made out of ribbon. A pair of shinobi tabis as my footwear, an inner for both of my arm, a simple traditional Kunoichi top along with a lovely balloon cap.
It was cool that I have finally finished making this outfit of mine and what's better than that was that we're about to reach Nippon. It is one of my favourite lands to visit. That place is also the birth of the shinobis and a bunch of other amazing things. But before I could explain that, I was distracted by a loud splash near the cruise ship.
I looked below and saw Lala was in the sea. She quickly recovered herself as an unnatural stone pillar started to appear from under the sea below her, acting as a float for her.
"Come. This is a better place for us to fight in." said Lala to someone from the deck.
I looked at who she was talking and it was actually Sam who was riding on a small cloud. As far as I could discern it, somehow these two got into a fight of sorts. Lala will be relying on her earth-based magic while Sam is...well...she's a bit hard. Why? Because she actually has multiple different magic other than her one true ability, Absolute Order.
For one thing, she is a fire-based wizard but she can also use other elements. Additionally, she's one of the few people who could combine these elements to create a whole different element. Since she's a fire-based wizard, most of her combination will be based around her most familiar element. She could create magma by combining fire and earth. There's also a rare occurrence where she could also use glass magic.
If she decides to combine fire with water then she will have what we call steam. It's basically what we're seeing right now and that was Sam riding on a small cloud. On the off chance, she can also create a thick mist to disable visibility. If fire was combined with wind, she can get a devastating hot air. Hot air can sometimes be considered toxic for us to breathe in. I'm not sure how much a human can handle. I think I should ask someone who is an expert in wind-based magic in the future.
"Lala...you think you can beat me? There's no way that can happen." She laughed.
"Why don't you prove that by not relying on that mind controlling ability of yours? I want to see how strong you're really are."
"Fine, then. I won't cheat. You won't as well correct?"
Lala nodded as a bunch of other stone pillar started appearing all over the place creating a unique battle arena that consist of tiny 'islands' to stand on.
"Azreal!" Sam called for her assistant.
"Yes, Sam!" Azreal appeared next to me as he said that.

"My sword!"
"Here you go, Sam!" Azreal throws a golden sword to her.
She grabbed it and slowly unsheathes the sword but as soon as she finishes unsheathing it Lala was right in front of her, coming in with a destructive fist that was immediately blocked by her sword just in the nick of time.
"Are you trying to break my sword, Lala?"
Lala then returned with a wicked response, "Nice sword you have here...Too bad you won't be able to see it shining after I break it. Of course, I'm talking about your face."
Sam immediately jumps away as she suddenly heard a crackling noise from the sword. She looked at it and noticed that a tiny little crack had begun to open. It wasn't noticeable but I was able to notice it with my sharp eyes. It's not in a damaged state but it might be broken if used for a long time and the battle is only starting.
Sam quickly covers herself in a bunch of cloud and immediately made herself disappear in the battlefield. Lala couldn't find here anywhere and before she was able to dodge it, Sam was way up above her. Sam made a waterfall of magma that was immediately engulfed in flames as Lala was buried by the deathly lava.
I can't believe Sam would use such a deadly ability to her. But it seems like she was prepared to be punished for killing another student. She has that kind of eye in her. But much to both of our surprise, the lava begins to dry up and it suddenly cracked and demolished. Lala emerges from the magma.
She then said, "You think that using a magic based on my own element would defeat me? The earth is with me in this and you got nothing else to say about that..."
"But I do have something to say..." Sam proudly replies, "How about I give you something not from our planet?"
"What?" Lala braced herself for what's to come.
As everyone was trying to look around searching for whatever Sam was talking about the temperature started to rise at such a dangerous level. Of course, if she ever combined her own fire ability with her own fire ability, it will create combustion! Combustion is heat without the visibility of flames and fire. It's like tasting the hot furious sun. Only that this time, the sun is very near us.
Lala was getting dizzy as the heat begins to rise to an extreme point. She tried to cover herself with a bunch of sands and stones but it was only a temporary solution as the sands and stones started to scorch off her skin. She took off the sands and stones that was covering her and decided that she has had enough.
"Very well..." Lala clenches her fist and grit her teeth, "You asked for it..." her eyes started to glow as she was about to unleash something.
Lala composes herself and punched the air on both left and right of her. Suddenly, the air started to crack as if it was glass being shattered. She did crack the air...But that wasn't just it...In a few seconds later a loud crashing sound can be heard from both sides of the horizon. Water levels from both sides started to rise as the central point begins to dry up from the movement of the sea.
"What is happening?!" Sam was confused.
"This is...a seaquake..." I whispered to myself.
Lala literally split the sea in half and in just a few moments later the split sea turned into a hazardous tsunami. The tsunami was fast approaching to our location; we couldn't do anything but scream and panicked. I quickly test my luck and pulled out a mystery card from my magic deck. Out of the entire card I have, I was lucky enough to obtain the exact card that I wanted to use especially in this condition. Immediately, I stick the card to the floor and activate it.
The cruise ship and everyone in it then began to lose all colouring. Only leaving behind an outline from their body. I just used a card that enables me to make anything transparent momentarily. With this, we won't be harmed by the ferocious tsunami that was immediately smashed into the middle. The ship was sent flying up into the sky. I was able to grab onto safety while everyone else was immediately saved by a bunch of other Trinities that was present.
As the ship finally went down and the water had calmed down, Cyclone White's lifeless body rolled next to me. If I had to guess, the fight between the two Cardinals probably had a strong connection with White, seeing that he is the only one who seems to be out of the situation.
I've looked outside of the ship and saw that both of them were on their knees. They seem to be planning to prolong this fight. But I think that is enough from them, sooner or later they will definitely kill someone if we don't intervene.
"Trinities!" I called for the other fellow trinity to help me stop them.
Each trinity from both classes came in and stopped the fight from those two. Acting as one of the trinity alongside two other classmates of mine, we managed to stop her with our abilities. That goes the same for Sam as well. Many say that there was definitely a winner in this but at the end of the day, it was a draw for both sides...
