After obtaining the 'Darkness' element, Samuel knew it was time to choose his class. Sitting against a tree, his brows furrowed, he opened his interface and recalled Helydia's words.
She had explained to him that the interface could suggest a class based on numerous factors: his fighting style, his skills, and even the amount of mana he possessed.
He scans the list of available classes, reviewing the familiar options: knight, swordsman, heavy soldier… Choices that seemed natural given his combat experience and expertise with his sword. With a slight sigh, he mentally clicked on the "Class Council" button and waited.
The loading time seemed to last an eternity. Samuel was already imagining himself as a knight, or perhaps as a swordsman, a class that would reflect his direct and powerful fighting style, and after all, if he wasn't happy with the suggestion, he could always decline.
But when the interface finally displayed its suggestion, her heart skipped a beat.
"Recommended class: Calamity."
Samuel frowned, perplexed. This name meant nothing to him, and curiosity drove him to click on the class description. But to his great surprise, the description was empty. Not a word, not a hint. He sighed, aware that it would be unwise to choose a class without any information.
At that moment, Helydia, who had been watching him closely for a while, moved closer to him. "So, which class were you suggested?" she asked with a mix of curiosity and impatience.
Samuel replied to him in a grave voice, still as perplexed: "Calamity."
Helydia made a face of confusion. "Calamity ?" she repeated. "I have never heard of this class... Maybe she is rare, or even legendary? Who knows?"
Samuel shook his head, his expression hardening. "Legendary or not, I’m not going to choose a class without a description."
A glimmer of irritation crossed Helydia's gaze. "Samuel, you should accept it, If it is of a high level of rarity, you could gain a considerable advantage from it."

But Samuel remained unyielding. "I have already had to accept an element that I did not choose. I'm not going to give up choosing my class myself."
The tension rose between them, their voices echoing in the heavy air of the forest. Kai, who was witnessing the scene, remained silent, impressed by Samuel's determination but also surprised by his unusual outburst.
Finally, Samuel, irritated by this confrontation, mentally clicked on "Decline the class." He quickly scrolled through the list of available classes and chose the one that seemed the most logical to him: knight. But hardly had he confirmed his choice when a new message appeared in bold letters:
"Your 'Immortal Anger' skill does not allow you to choose this class."
Samuel couldn't believe his eyes. He clenched his fists, a cry of frustration escaping his lips. He, usually so calm, had let out a rage that neither Kai nor Helydia had ever seen in him. The young Kai, astonished, looked at Samuel with wide eyes, while Helydia remained frozen, not knowing how to ease her frustration.
After two or three more unsuccessful attempts, Samuel found himself out of options. Every time he tried to choose a traditional class, the same message appeared, sending him back to that strange suggestion.
Finally, with a heavy heart and reluctance, he resigned himself to accept the 'Calamity' class. His hands trembled slightly as he confirmed his decision, feeling a wave of disappointment wash over him.
Samuel lowered his head, a look of weariness on his face. He had just made a choice that plunged him into the unknown, and despite his skills and experience, he had never been so uncertain about his future.
A heavy silence settled in as Samuel digested his decisions. Finally, he straightened up, regaining his composure. "Well, enough chit-chat, we need to keep going. What is the next village on our way to the capital ?" asking Helydia .She replies: "Harama"
