I just sat there with a blank look. I just heard that Imphi hates men. Of course a lot of people are afraid or even hate the other gender. Even I can understand her. I hate girls. They get free items for nothing, and don't even play good. In the same time I need to work hard for those things that they get for free.

No, that wasn't the reason I was surprised.

The reason that I was surprised was because she was Imphi. That one girl that got items for free in my last guild. That one girl that didn't do anything, and was just talking all the time. That one girl that made my free time miserable. That one girl that was just talking and laughing with other boys, while getting free items from them. Now she's saying the she hates men.

"It was weird wasn't it?" she said when I didn't respond for a long time.

"N-No! It's not weird a-at all that you hate men hehe" I said with a stoic voice and perfect poker face.  

"So you think it was weird." she replied with a sad face.

I don't understand? Was my poker face not enough?

Anyway, for some reason I didn't want her to be sad.

It's not like I was charmed by her! Oh no! I'm not like those other boys! Yeah, there is another reason. She is now a part of my guild, and I don't want my guildmates to be sad. Yeah, it's not like I'm some NEET that can't look at sad girls. Don't make fun of this man.

"I d-don't think you are weird!" I replied.

When I said she looked at me for a moment and then smiled a little.

I don't understand her. She's really weird for such popular girl. Is it something normal? Do boys like weird girls? If I knew about that I would give my character some weird tattoos with a scary eye, and even weirder name. Well, I always liked cute girls, and I thought others did as well, but now I know that this isn't the case. It's too late to change my appearance but it's a good thing to remember.

"Anyway, thank you for letting me into the guild." she said when she finished her cake.

"O-Oh, it's not a problem. You really helped me there, I should be the one thanking you." I replied.

I looked at her one more time. Those items on her, they were given to her by some guys. She says that she hates men, but she must hang out with them.

It can only mean one thing.

Yeah, she must be lying.

It's not like I can talk to her about old times, but I can ask her about that. It shouldn't be a problem.

"You said that you hate men, but you have items given to you by them. Don't you think that this is weird?" I asked with a devilish smile. I want to hear your answer to that.

I was a fool to even believe you for a second.

"Yeah, it's hard to explain. I think it will be easier to just show you." she replied and stood up.

"Show me?"

I don't understand a thing that she is saying right now.

"Yeah, it's weird and I don't understand it myself, so I will just show you. Can you come with me?" Imphi asked.

It's something weird? I don't understand. How can this be weird. You just take advantage of boy’s fragile heart, and then you get free items. How can you even call it weird.

But I was a little bit curious. I wanted to get free items too, so I could learn few things from her.

"Yeah, I don't see a reason not to." I replied

"Oh? Are you going already? I thought you would stay for a little longer." Maid said when she saw that we were going out.

"Yeah, thank you for everything. The cake was great." Imphi replied while opening the door and I just went after her.
