The knock at our door continued, ‘Knock, knock.’ While the man continued to say behind it, addressing us all saying in a confused tone, “Hello you guys?"

While we largely ignored him at first, nobody I was with responded to the man. So instead, we just sat there in disbelief and listened to him talk from behind the door, “Hello, I know you in there...The lady at the front confirmed this was the room you were staying in.”

I began to choke a little upon hearing that last part. Coughing on the apple cider wine, I was drinking; ‘choking on the wine.’ Nervously I began to scan the room I was in before locating a large window across from where I was seated. Saying nothing now, I got up silently and started to activate my sneak skill ‘Night-walk’ Each step was silent now, and with that activated, I started silently walking towards the window to escape the city. Once in front of the window, I began to climb up and into it. I was trying my best to climb up, but I started stumbling around, being a little drunker than I had guessed I was.

Nevertheless, I managed to get into it. But it was becoming more clear the window was not large enough for me to fit through and, in fact, I realized it was quite small. I crawled up closer to the exit hole as I began to shift. It was slowly shrinking before my eyes, as it was a small exit. Now I found myself getting bigger. I soon found myself stuck in the window. Now unable to move, I was jammed in the window frame with my feet kicking around as all I could see was the outside. I was stuck.

At this time, the men at the front door began to spin the handle to open the door. I could hear the nob being turned as the door shuffled open, having heard some noise and waiting long enough. Once the men opened the door, I was sure they were puzzled to find the Demon stuck in the window, and the girls he was with were trying to help him back inside.

One of the three men I heard while stuck started to shout at us all, “What the heck are you doing!”

I could tell whoever was yelling was a young human from his voice and speech patterns, and as he began to shout in the heat of the moment, he said, “We got a runner!”

‘Reena,’ I looked at the leader of their group. The older gentlemen who turned to the young man looked at him confused after seeing Azurith must have been stuck and we were trying to help him down as we held onto his legs, I saw the older man place his right hand over his face then smack the young human upside the head.

As I kicked around in the window, I could hear the noise of something smacking; afterwards, I heard, “Why did you do that!” The kid then complained about being struck hard upside the back of the head, which I would hear an older man next answer him and say, “He is clearly stuck; go help him, you two, go make yourselves useful.”

In a calm voice, I heard the older man who was talking walk towards me and said, “Man in the window, I was only here to ask you some questions and that your guild pays for the damages done to the streets, Demon, may I start with your name.”

Still kicking around, I could feel the ladies let go of my legs Reena, Maria, and Jacosta then I heard ask the men, “Can you help our friend please.” ‘Awe, they called me their friend.’

In a confident voice I heard, the human man answers them clearly, and in a radiant proud voice, he announced to them, “Certainly stand aside, give us some space.”

‘Reena; We stood aside, allowing the clearly much higher level Human who seemed confident and his Elven comrade who stood in silence to give it a go. While I heard Azurith try to reply in the window, “Ahfg,” but it sounded like whatever he said came off in a slur as he answered them and said, “My name is Azurith, a pleasure to meet you three.” The Elven male had a soft-spoken tone in his voice with a calm demeanour as most elves do, sounding like the woman at first at the desk when he spoke, saying, “It spoke?” But this guy had more of a manly charm compared to the lady at the front desk. After hearing Azurith’s name, I heard him respond to our friend, “Do all the Demons in your city and guild have such fascinating names?” I stood beside my sister as we watched the men yanking on Azurith’s leg. Placing their legs against the wall, they braced themselves as they were pulling as hard as they could; we heard Azurith begin to hiccup drunk in the window.

I could feel a sharp pain in my gut from being stuck for so long now on this weird arched angle. Out of nowhere, I started to throw up violently while still stuck halfway inside and/outside of the window, raining vomit down onto the streets; thankfully, it was night, and no one was down below walking.

I started saying out loud to whoever was listening, “This wine is as awful going in, going out.” Finally, I hung my head low and went limp. At the same time, I could feel the hand of someone. The younger Human male began to pat me on the back while talking in a kind matter towards me, saying, “That's it, little buddy, throw it all up that. That nasty cider wine no one should drink that shit.”

I did not know the relationship between him and the wine, but it sounded like he really hated that wine. It almost sounded like they had bad blood between each other. So, I turned as best as I could to try to face them. But, unfortunately, I hit my head on the frame, and I was unable to, now even redder in the face; I started screaming, “I am stuck! Ah, please help me!”

Time passed, I was still being pulled on by the two younger males relentlessly. They were still holding onto my legs giving it their best. I could not imagine the strange older man continuing to try to help me down for too much longer, as he was old and needed to get some rest from the sound of his voice; he must have been late 50’s. More time passed, I was still unable to get out of the window I was stuck in.

However, It did not take long for their party leader to move over and enjoy my wine; he took a seat next to the girls and began to drink with them as I could hear them cheering and clinking glasses. I could hear the noise of bottle’s clink’, as all four of them now began to drink together. I heard them laughing as I remained stuck with the two males grabbing onto my legs, pulling. Nevertheless, I could hear the two men begin to yell at each other that 'Neither one of them was pulling hard enough,' Which I found hilariously true. Soon after, the elf getting angry, violently grabbed my ankle and screamed," Not trying? WATCH! I'll SHOW YOU.” ‘Ploop’

I could hear the noise of something coming undone, like that noise from something from a drain being unclogged as the force sent me flying backwards in the air. I could see everyone inside the room, including myself, oddly as I transcended from my body looking down at myself; I could hear that gasping noise as everyone looked at me as I flew through the room like a shooting star with tears slowly running from my eyes. Then, like a bird free flying through the room, I soared like a paper airplane, and once I hit the floor, I returned to my body as It was slow motion as I rocked back and forth, bouncing backwards on the floor,’ bang, crash thud.’

I started looking up into the ceiling before time returned to its normal flow as everyone began laughing who had seen what had happened. I then announced to everyone looking downwards at me, “I think I am going to be sick.”

I did a 180-degree spin from my back to my stomach; I fell onto my hands and knees. Following up from that, I started to crawl past everyone like a Demonic spider. As I shuffled past everyone at incredibly high speeds towards the washroom, I must have looked very weird...But before I could reach my destination, my body gave up, and I was forced to stop in the hall on all four and then spreading out; I laid there the men walked over.

': The three men who came looking for answers looked at the Demon who went by Azurith. They noticed he was pale in the face, sweating and holding his mouth, vomiting in his hands, trying to get up. Unable to before crawling again. They all looked at each other now before they began thinking to themselves, ‘This was the guy? The guy who took the four masked level 46’s all by himself:.'

I noticed Reena was quick to come over to my aid after I made a mess, and she started wrapping her arm around me as I continued to sweat. I began to have flashbacks of her and Jacosta saving my life as I listened to the various voices in my head talking. Finally, I heard Reena call for Maria over to come and help her. ‘What a nice girl,’ one of the voices said in my head.

Not sure if it was because I was because of being drunk or was my subconscious thought, I could hardly see or think straight as I watched everyone in the room begin to shuffle and spin around violently as the floor began to rock back and forth; I noticed that Jacosta was sitting around in her pyjamas, laughing hysterically while slapping her knee with tears of joy in her eyes. The sight of Jacosta enjoying herself and the atmosphere I will never forget; I saw the girl take another sip of her wine which made my stomach turn.

Reena continued to help me as her sister and Maria struggled to help me to the washroom looking at the three men; she started to now say towards them all, "He probably has about fifteen minutes, gives or take, before he is out cold. If I were you, I would get a move on and get his statement now. Or come back tomorrow in the morning when he is not drunk. But, man, you guys should have seen his face when you guys knocked; it was hilarious."

I could hear the older man began to chuckle as he kindly said next to Reena, who was now standing in front of him. "Well, I will try and come back tomorrow. In this state, he is now no threat to anybody besides. It was just for the damage done. The victims did not lose their lives, so it would be a warning for fighting outside the arena. We will come by to get his guild information for the damages and bill them tomorrow. Tell Azurith we apologize for the intrusion." Then he tipped his fedora towards the ladies as everyone from the guild left.

Now, as I heard the door close, I poked my head up as I was about to reach the washroom only to ask the ladies, “Am I in trouble?” Then after I said that before they could answer, I quickly got up, ran inside and closed the door; next, I violently begin throwing up some more in the toilet.

Alone in the washroom after throwing up everything, I stumbled around for a bit, trying to find something to sit on, seeing a stool in the corner of the room. So I made my way over to first washing my face.

Now pulling the tiny stool over to where I was. I began to strip while seated. With sweat pouring down my body, it was hard as everything stuck to me. Getting this armour off was hard while shit-faced and seated was hard, but I got it off with some effort, falling off the stool in the process but whatever. Now on the floor, I continued to take off piece by piece while looking around this strange room. That was when I spotted the bath, and while on my back, I slid over like a puck. When I slid, I hit the tub getting up; the bath looked nice, very luxurious; it was deep and was a pearl white colour tub. With gold trim around the bowl, it looked nice. I located the tap to start running the water; in the process, thinking to myself, “This is why I don’t drink... bad things always happen. I am such a lightweight.”

'This is nice, I thought, sitting alone.’ I inhaled the steam, trying not to throw up anymore in the process. Now closing my eyes, I tried meditating on that idea of thought. That is when I heard the door behind me begin to turn, jolting up, forgetting I had never locked it. I was surprised before I could check who it was, and I was stunned it was Maria. She slowly turned around and closed the door before she came running over towards me with a pink towel covering her private parts.

I ran towards her to ask her what she was doing, but before I reached her, I lost my footing and started sliding, losing my footing. Then, just when I was in front of the door, I slipped on some water and cracked my head on the hard cold tiles.

As I began to pass out, ‘this was becoming a common occurrence, I thought.’

Placing my hand on my head, I felt it was bleeding, then on the tile floor, blood formed around my head; I saw Maria running over in her cute pink towel with her cute silver tail poking out from the back of it. Maria quickly took a seat down beside me picking my head up and placing it on her lap, wrapping it up. Then, I could hear her start screaming to the others, “I think Azurith killed himself!”

It did not take everyone to enter the bathroom once hearing what Maria had told them I’ve done. I slowly began to fade away before her eyes, and everyone else’s as they entered. I did, however, notice Jacosta and Reena run into the washroom. Unfortunately, they were dressed, ‘sigh’ They were not in a cute towel like Maria was. One of the last things I remember as I started to go unconscious was hearing Jacosta. At first, I thought Jacosta was crying. But she was crying out in laughter as she couldn't contain herself any longer and began rolling on the floor, and I felt her hit me; I watched her now holding her side beside me with her head against my leg. Reena walked over and ran her hands over my hair. Thankfully, she ignored her sister... Finally, I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

'Reena, I started running past Maria to grab a blanket and cover poor naked Azurith, who was now out cold on the floor. I could not help but look over at Maria, who caused all this. I did not know what she did, but I knew it was all her fault. She sat with his head on her lap, I noticed, as her tail wagged excitedly. “Maria, what did you do!” I asked. That was when I noticed the bathtub was full of water and walked over towards it. Placing my hand in the water, it was hot and was the perfect temperature. I could see the steam was coming off it, ‘I shouldn’t, but it’s been so long since I had a nice bath like this.’

I looked over to my sister and Maria and asked the ladies a question, “The bath was ready for someone to enter. Did you guys want to bathe together, Maria, like in the old days?” Maria smiled already in her towel, answering me with a smile said, “Yes, let us do it!” Maria looked over and threw her towel towards Azurith; ‘as I held my face, I noticed It landed on his face.’ Maria, now naked, I saw, jumped in first, creating a huge splash as the warm water soaked everything, “Maria, calm down!” I was quick to follow Maria in jumping into the bathtub after creating my own splash as we played in the tub together, splashing each other while Maria was a creep. I could not believe we left poor Azurith there on the floor, and there he laid on the cold hard tiles motionless. Azurith probably had a minor concussion from his fall. But as we all bathed around him, we ignored him and started washing each other, and there he slept for the night.

Grabbing my head, I jolted awake, screaming, "I'm okay!" I noticed someone healed the cut on my head, and I could not help but feel weird opening my eyes to find myself in a bathroom naked. The first thought that met me was a mind-splitting headache followed by, ‘what the hell happened?’

Lifting myself off the floor now, I notice I as a small blanket fell. I did have a blanket over myself which I couldn’t remember doing; I could hardly remember the night. Then, looking over at the bath again, I began to walk over, and that was when I felt the feeling of knives in my brain.

Holding my head with both my hands, the towel around my waist fell. I now tried to reach over towards the tap and begin to try and rerun the water. I quickly started remembering, ’That was the last thing I was up to before...Not able to remember. What happened?'

Putting aside the feeling and questions I had racing throughout my head, I started getting into the tub as the feeling of nausea began to become overwhelming. I sat in the bathtub and allowed the warm water to relax my body. Now sitting with the water running over my body, I slowly began to get relaxed in the tub and calm down. Washing my head hurt like hell, and I was so cold. Sinking into the water, It really was the lowest I had felt in a very long time. I sat there in the water as I started to think about that time, remembering that time in college.

I closed my eyes and washed my hair with this random shampoo that I found by the tub. It smelt kind of like Maria's hair did when we first met, like strawberries, then next, using this weird soap, I washed my body. Again hearing the twisting noise of a door handle, I was not even remotely surprised this time. Like hell, I was going to get up and run over since, you know, “Last time worked out so wonderful,” I muttered out loud.

As the door opened, I was surprised it was Jacosta this time out of all the people? Seeing her, I quickly raised my head out of the water like a hippo and looked at her and asked, “Do you mind?”

She was still half asleep as her eyes were closed, and she staggered while she walked, I could tell from the drowsy, sleepy look she had on her face she was out of it, and she must have just wanted to use the washroom, but still, the audacity of that girl to walk in, like, where was the sense of privacy.

Now pulling the curtain past myself, I started saying to Jacosta in a weary tone of voice said, “I have the worst headache today, so do whatever it is you wanted to do. Just do it, and please leave me to bathe in peace. Lock the door when you leave.”

What Jacosta said caught me off guard. I was not expecting in my wildest dreams to ever hear her say, “Sure, Reena, just let me do a squeeze test before I go back to bed. I promise I won't be rough.”

Hearing that, I shot out of the water, forgetting I was naked, and I replied and said towards Jacosta, “Oh hell no...I am not!”

Jacosta, before I finished, ripped the curtain away to find me standing up now before her completely naked. I saw her eyes went wide as she started to check my body out, then lewdly looking at my junk that was hanging out...Then Jacosta half-ass covered her eyes but did not do a good job of hiding the fact. I could still see her eyes peeking through her fingers.

I could not help but have screamed like a girl being eyed up like some meat, “Ah, Jacosta, stop!” Like, this was so random. By Jacosta? Like this by an odd little cat-girl. Completely startled, snatching the curtain back from her. I closed it and sat down, announcing to her afterwards, “I don’t know when or how I will get you back for this invasion of privacy, and where I am from, it's an eye for an eye. But, I will catch you changing or bathing, be gone now, woman!

As she walked away, I could hear Jacosta’s familiar laugh, and she answered while walking away, “I can join you if you like; I’m sorry!”

As I heard her walking away, I began to think to myself, “What a strange girl who says that most guys would take her up on that offer... But, wait, what if I had said yes?!”

Some time passed when I was interrupted by Jacosta. Once I was done, I got out of the bathtub making sure the coast was clear, peeking my head out. When I got out of the bath, I noticed only my undergarments and pants were inside the room I was in. They were sat off to the side on that tiny stool from before. So, putting them on, I exited the bathroom shirtless while I walked. Then, forgetting they may have been asleep, I started asking everyone in the other room, “Have you seen my gear?”

Noticing it was all lying on the bed for me, I walked over and saw the three ladies smiling; they all asked me in perfect unison at the same time, “How was your sleep?”

The three of them acting like that caught me a little off guard. But, especially by the response they gave simultaneously, I slowly answered and said back to them, “Umm? It actually could have been a lot worst for being on the floor. And whoever gave me the blanket, thank you, you probably saved me from my... um from freezing.”

I could notice Reena blushed after I said that and replied, “It was her who had given it to me.” I started to think; that she was the perfect girl out of the three, so considerate and thoughtful.' Maria ran over to me with her hair today in an unusual style. Now, as Maria seductively played with it in front of me, she asked me, “So, do you have a girlfriend?”

I noticed Reena choked a little on the drink she was drinking when she heard that. I looked over to find her hitting her chest coughing. I suppose she was also interested? It couldn’t be. I concluded which made sense, at least in my head, she did not. I may have spoiled them a little bit... But that was no reason to like someone. But before I could answer and say my response, Jacosta was hungry and began to interrupt Maria and me, saying to the both of us, “I am hungry. If you are going to eye me up later while I changed, at least buy me some food first!” Everyone looked at me strangely, “Out of context...” I cried out.

I could hear Maria yell out, "Azurith," Next was Reena sitting right next to Maria, “Azurith!” They both began to look at me rather questionably and then, to top it off. Next, Jacosta stuck her tongue out towards me in a playful manner setting the bomb off. Then as if she did nothing, she sat off by her sister and Maria and said, "Oh, it was the awful sister he promised to walk in on me several times while I am bathing and changing!"

Red in the face because I mean ‘she was not lying...I was.’ Looking outside the window now, I previously was stuck in the night before; I started to think.' I was so dumb to think I could have fit...' I could hear coming from outside the noise of heavy rain; as I looked to the window, I saw it was pouring rain outside, and with that, there was not much we could do till the rain let up. So I stopped putting my armour back down on the bed before lying down next to Reena and Maria. I noticed quickly after I did that Jacosta moved over and jumped on me before falling back asleep. Closing my eyes, so did I.

Hours passed, and when I awoke on the bed, all three girls were cuddled up on top of me in various positions. That was a nice rest compared to yesterday, and I was feeling a lot better. Looking outside, the weather also had improved greatly, and the sun was shining through the window, leaving a little spot of light on the floor, and I could hear when I opened the window the birds were chirping. The ladies all slowly started to wake up before each of them all started yawning, looking adorable as they stretched; I turned to them to ask if they all had a nice sleep on me, to which they all replied, “Yes.”

Now reaching over beside them, putting back on my shirt and then next my armour. I decided to pick up the weapons first, re-equipping them on my waist. Once everyone was dressed, we began to head out for the day. Reena turned to me before we left and asked me, "So, what the plan was for the day," To which I casually replied and answered, "Today, we would go to the pub to eat again and then they would be training for the tournament that was being held tomorrow."

Reena stopped in her tracks, causing me to stop and look back; she then said to me quietly, "Wait, you were serious?” I was now looking at her like she was joking and replied. “Yeah, why would I say something I did not mean? Let us go to the training grounds or arena your pick.” Reena then told me, “This city only had an arena you could challenge people in. So various shady people would hang out there all day to pick fights. They were shady because they usually only fought each other for money, placing bets on who would win.”

I could not help but begin to grin, thinking that the idea of an arena did not change from world to world game to game. Next, I started saying to her Jacosta and Maria,

“Well, lead the way after we eat to the arena. You are going to make some money today!”
