The Dwarf casually stood there unphased by what I had said to him as he stared at my gear through his lenses; he then responded to my question, saying in a calm, low deep voice, “Yes, there has been several times in the past. Though recently, I am unsure, you see. All the time, the races of the people summoned here are always of humankind. Is that why you are here in Geroleo? Are you looking for someone?”
I began to calm down a bit when he said that, knowing I was not the first to be summoned to this strange world, so there had to be a way back. The dwarf man seemed like a trustworthy kind of person who would not lie. I asked him next, “Have any of those people ever returned home?” Laughing a bit, he answered, “A few from old legends have. Are you into history, young man? Was that all you wanted to know in return for these blueprints?” Then, wiping the sweat away from my head, I just stood there and continued to listen to him explain ‘other worlders,’ “Other worlders or commonly called ‘The summoned’ are usually from some magical world. A powerful summoner has called upon them though it said that over time, people had lost magic to time as were many classes over the decades of fighting that could perform such a feat.”
Now standing there for a few minutes, it was only a tad bit longer till the Dwarf finished up his scans on my swords and copied them down on some blueprints. I watched as his goggles scanned the paper and began to write down all the information; as he lifted his goggles, he said to me, “There’s clearly nothing in my shop that's on par with your gear. Why are you here? Are you just in search of knowledge? I may be old, but I perhaps can help you.”
The Dwarf looked at me rather oddly after saying that it was obvious he was trying to be nice and help after I allowed him to copy my gear; ‘It was the least he could do.’
Standing there with a blank look, I thought for a second and answered him and replied, “I think that is enough for now. I will return later when I think of some new questions to ask.”
I was sure he found this Demon in front of him very intriguing. He could tell I was clearly a mighty person based on the gear I used. Yet I was with two low-level beast people that had no gear at all. They had, but rusted swords and daggers and a wooden wand, and they were not at all on an equal footing to my own.
As the short Dwarf started to now walk away from me, he turned to the girl’s, with a glimmer in his eyes he stroked his beard and looked at them afterwards, in turn, he asked me the funniest question, “So, which ones which,” Pointing to Reena, “Is this your wife or mistress?” Next, pointing to Jacosta, who had a handful of stuff, he said, “Which would make this one your kid, or are you.” Pausing, he held his heart temporarily, almost falling over; he stumbled back, holding himself upright with a sword, and continued, “No, I bet you're mistress and wife shopping at the same time, you devil.” I stood there and thought, He can’t be serious...’ Idiot.’
The short Dwarf could not really tell the sisters apart that much was clear either then they were two beast-girls who were cats, and then after he raised his goggles and had a closer look, he knew they were related from the way the two looked: one having white hair, the other orange. That was when while we were talking, we could hear the noise of the helmet being dropped, and it was coming from the back area; Reena was now standing there making the gesture of holding something in her hands, causing both myself and the Dwarf to turn over and look at her confused ideal speechless stare.
Her face was a deep dark red as she ‘messed up’ while she looked at us; she frantically looked down at the helmet that was rolling away on the floor. Then, running over, picking it up quickly, I saw her shoot back around. Now making it seem she was busy browsing the gear and was not just listening earlier to our conversation, but I knew she was. I knew what she had been listening to us this whole time. I saw her, after all, in the beginning, obviously key in as her ears twitched. I could not help but listen as Reena started to nervously laugh a little at what she did while back peddling.
The Dwarf noticed my humerus reaction, and then after I calmed down a little, I asked him, “Dwarf, what is your name?” He responded in his deep low voice, "My name is Huggiee Ironskull from the city of Foothold. I come from a proud and noble blacksmiths lineage, and my father's father was a blacksmith as my son will be when he grows up. How about your self stranger? What is your name, and where are you from.”
I could see Reena's listening in. She was nearly falling over with her head far out; I bet she was also curious. As I saw her begin to put everything down and lean over the armour rack to listen, she held some helmets again and listened in again. I began to speak as they both went on to listen...“Well, I am Azurith Baldarren. I suppose I am a Master enchanter, from um from a small city called...” Not sure what to say next, I felt I should not be so quick as to say my city they would never have heard of it anyway, but still. I did not want to give the impression I was not from around here more than I already was from my questions earlier. So, I decided not to say anything. However, the Dwarf Huggiee did not pester me about it any further and turned to the two girls I was with to see what they were up to after making all the racket.
Jacosta had in one of her hands a purple set of armour. With a single white highlight that went around the shoulders, waist and handpieces. It also had a traditional silver crown helmet band that hid under her hair. On the other hand, she had some clothes. The clothes were pink, but after trying them on, she said, “I looked better without it.” I could not help but agree.
Jacosta put the clothes away to fill in the armour that would not have allowed her to expose her skin, she had some shorts that looked like a kind of spandex, but they were made of an iron-type material. The same material was around her hips, waist and breastplate, and the shoulder pieces were simple and rounded on the top. I assumed that this black spandex clothing would go under the armour she had with her and be like her walk-around clothes. Now Jacosta started looking back in the direction of Huggiee, glancing over her shoulder while she checked herself out in the mirror; I heard her then ask him,
“If we get this, would you be able to cut out a hole for my tail in the suit and one in the clothes? I will also need one for the cutout for my hoodie for my ears!”
‘The way she even said the hoodie was cute.’
I heard Huggiee gladly agree to her request. Next to have some armour in their hands was Reena. She did not have normal armour in her hands and instead had a cute outfit made of cloth that looked more magical in nature. It was a light red blouse with a white tie scarf around the neck had a matching white shawl with red highlights. Reena also had in her hands a belt with tight black spandex pants she had picked out. Lastly, she had her black high-top boots to go with the outfit and some matching gloves for the armour.
Looking at the two, I chuckled a bit, as it was like when I first started playing all those years ago and first purchased my gear set. The first thing I did was visit the blacksmith in Darkon for the first time. Despite the fact, the NPC was nothing like Huggiee, and I’ll never forget it.
Everyone began to look over towards me. I could see the glow in their eyes as the candlelight flickered. They happily stood next to the Dwarf Huggiee; I slowly turned over, and then, knowing this was gonna cost a lot, I asked him, “So, how much is the damage today.”
Huggiee had a huge grin on his face and proceeded to hand me over a bill saying to me, “Hmm, your receipt should show, 45970 Gold which is not too bad,”
Without question, I handed him the gold, reaching deep into my pockets and pulling out the gold I did not argue or heckle. He did not seem like the kind of person to lie and swindle me for being a demon-like some already have. I did not even bat an eye towards it as I even pulled a little tip out for him thinking it was customary. His kind nod of approval and smile was the confirmation I needed. Walking away now, I heard him from around the desk yell, “The exact total how?” I could see Huggiee run back around looking astonished, tapping on my pockets afterwards, asking me, “Was that magic?”
The two girls headed to the dressing rooms to get properly dressed into their new gear, and together I watched as they entered one room.
I patiently waited beside Huggiee, who kept pestering me about that gold trick; he continued tapping my pockets before walking away and began weighing the gold again, smiling walking back over. Before finally standing behind the till. I waited alone by the change room door now.
I could hear the girls playing around. As I asked them to, “Hurry up.” I heard Jacosta make some remarks to Reena while I imagined them undressing. Bad Azurith. Imagining her sister helping her undress as she leaned over, undoing her bra pressing up against each other before ‘pop’ bra falls off and panties slide down as she slowly continued undressing. ‘But my dirty thoughts were interrupted by something I could not ignore.’

I heard Jacosta speaking so clearly through the door, talking to Reena while they did whatever they were doing behind it; I heard her say to her older sister, “Reena, your boob’s are getting so big! Lemme squeeze them. I need to do the squeeze test, so you better not move.” My jaw dropped upon hearing that; now pressing my head closer to the wall, I could feel the wood beginning to crack. Wishing I was in the room; I could only listen as Reena started yelling out as her sister grabbed her, “Stop it now, Jacosta. Don’t grab me like that. I am warning you to stop!!” before kicking her against the door I could feel her body hit against where I held my head, causing it to swing open and smack me. It was not much longer after the commotion they came out, both dressed in their new armour.
I could not help but begin mentioning now to Jacosta, “That armour looked a lot like the armour I once used a long time ago. It looks good on you!”
With a smile on her face, I paused and looked over at Reena, and I could not help but notice she also cleaned up very nicely. Now looking like a proper combat mage or ‘Battle-mage,’ I corrected myself mentally before saying to the pink-eyed orange-haired cat-girl,
“You look beautiful, Reena, and now you will both need a weapon, so if you promise to treat them well, here, take these from me as I think they will serve you well.”
As I put my hands In my pockets being greeted with the same screen in my vision as before. In my vision now was the bag's inventory showing me my gold and the other stuff I had on me. I Mentally went over the Flower sword wand and the old Betless cutlass I used to use daily and the wand my friend gave me, then, pulling them out from my pockets like magic, there were the weapons in each of my hands. With one of the weapons in each of my hands, I presented the two ladies with their new weapons and said here, “Take these.”
It was at this moment Huggiee lost his mind seeing another one of my inventories tricks. This time I pulled two short-swords out of my pockets. I knew Huggiee could recognize the one sword, but then what was this new mysterious weapon coming from the opposite pocket? I pulled out a brand new weapon, and I knew Huggiee could not help but run over towards Reena. She was holding her weapon up and admiring its beauty. That was when with a huge bag of gold in his hand, Huggiee began to try and barter with me,” So Azurith?” I turned him down swiftly. Once they were holding their new weapons, Reena and Jacosta both said, “Thank you, Azurith."
They did not get a chance to hug me or anything of that nature, as before they could, Huggiee ran over to Reena and cut me off and began examining the new weapon she had in her hands. With the new weapon in his presence, he could not help but begin to repeat the process he did on me but now to Reena. However, I could tell Reena was not like me. I was patient; she was not. Reena then slapped him before yelling out loud, “Don't touch me there!”
Once he recovered from the slap, I watched as Huggiee spun his goggles around his head before saying to her and her sister, “Never lose those weapons. As you will never find another one better in this world," ‘It was Possible the Dwarven man knew they were unique and damn near impossible to re: create.’
The dwarf Huggiee bowed his head and thanked me for buying armour from him, and then, stumbling back to the till, he took a seat behind his make ship table desk. Then once he was comfortable again, he turned towards us and asked us all to “come again, I will be cheering for you to win. Don’t forget to say where you got the armour from if you do!”
Reena and Jacosta looked down at their gifts and were left speechless as they looked proper with those in their hand. I guessed no one had ever treated them properly as people before today, now feeling like I succeeded in making the two of them smile. But then, I heard Jacosta came running over. She started to run from the armour racks she was standing beside, and when she arrived, she asked me,” Are you seriously sure? I have to tell you when we met, I wanted to rob you for this, and I felt so bad, but I stopped before I touched it.”
“Well, anyway,” I said as we all left the tented booth in silence, it was now late at night. A lot of time had passed since we were inside the Dwarfs booth, and he must have stayed open extra late for them as the sale was huge. I saw Reena smiling with her tail wagging now as he stood under the light of the moon in the street. I could still see her face, and with the happiest look on it, she turned to face me slowly; walking up beside me, she turned and then asked me, “What was next, Azurith. What did you want to do next?”
I knew this was one of those days she never wanted to end, but Jacosta then responded to her sister, reminding her, “It was getting late. I am sure Azurith wanted to find somewhere to stay for the night.” Then Jacosta paused. I looked over to her say “Maybe with you.” Now winking towards her sister. There was a large clock located in the center of the district we were in. I could see Reena begin to look up at the clock; I remembered her promise to Maria. I could see Reena remembering herself jump back now, as she then started to face me asking,
“Hey, Azurith? Would you like to accompany us to to the brewpub, and then after, we could show you on our way home to a tavern.”
As I looked at the two girls smiling. They looked even cuter than before while dressed in their new armour. How could I not agree to go with them? And I even told them, “I can't let you two go alone now, can I? Now you two look so lovely.”
Reaching my hands out, hoping both of them would take one each. They did, and then they began to lead me back to the pub. Together we now started to walk towards Shauntys brewpub linked arm and arm. The walk was nice under the moonlight, and as we passed the odd oil lantern, I could not help but think. This is nice.
I had a lot nicer trip on the way back to the pub than from it. It felt so magical outside now as the random lights flickered, casting shadows of the strange buildings, unlike the walk we had previously walked before. No one was outside at this time, as everyone returned indoors for the night. It was pleasantly quiet as not a single person could hear a bird or bug. There were these kinds of glow bugs flying around us, making the odd bug noise, however. Arriving just as Maria was walking out, she ran over towards us all as her foot's steps echoed from the road; she began running right to Reena and started saying when she saw her,
“Hey, guys, you remembered! Wow, you two are looking so damn adorable. Reena and Jacosta, your finally looking like a slayer and Mage, congrats.”
I heard Jacosta replying to Maria's question, and she said, “Yes, I know. I look so cool.”
Now swinging her sword around like a maniac, everyone there laughed at poor Jacosta as it was too funny to see her so relaxed. That was when Maria now looked over at me; I could see from the lewd look a certain lust in her eyes like earlier. Now zeroing in on me like a bomber, she ran over towards me.
But Reena pulled her tail, causing her to stop inches within grabbing distance of me. Then, phew, I noticed Maria looking back at Reena, and I heard Maria say to her friend in an upset tone, “Reena, really? Did you already call him?”
I could tell Jacosta was waiting for her moment to attack the two of them, looking at her sister with those intense eyes of hers; she stared at Reena and Maria as she began to repeat, “Reena's got a.”
As I watched poor Jacosta getting smacked violently by both of them before she could finish her sentence. Maria smiled and looked back at me innocently, giving me that whoopsie look. She then walked over towards me, swinging her hips and hair back and forth, looking elegant as she strolled over to where I stood. Once Reena let go of her friend's tail, I saw her suddenly run over to me, and she grabbed my hand with hers. I was confused; never had I been this popular. But before I could say anything to her, at that moment, Reena grabbed onto my other arm and pressed her head up against me. I could only look down into Reena's pink eyes and say towards her, “Well, shall we go to the tavern.?”
Now Reena and Maria were holding onto my opposite arms as we walked it was very nice.
It was like two perfect pillows cushioning my body from both sides, like two body-sized pillows that had their own perfumey kind of smell. Jacosta was following now closely behind us. I could hear her waving her sword around still, but as we started to walk down the dark streets towards the tavern and as we were apparently just around the corner. Jacosta knowing the area, decided to run ahead of us. The streets I noticed had little light in this part, and the wind was beginning to pick up. Running up way ahead of us now, Jacosta began to dance and twirl around in the streets, enjoying herself like she was a kid again, not even remotely worried. Reena happily looked at me while thanking me for everything I had done. She leaned over, kissing me on the cheek, and went on to say,
“I can't express how much today’s meant to both my sister and me, even if she won't say it—no one ever been this nice towards her in seventeen years alive. You had made her dream come true today, thank you. She really looks like the slayer class now; we both looked at her sister dancing in the distance.
With tears in Reena’s eyes now, she continued to thank me over and over again, and Maria told her to, after a few moments, unaware of our day, “Stop thanking Azurith already. It was starting to get weird.”
But before I could talk, suddenly walking out from around the corner bumping into Jacosta, someone with an all-black outfit with black sashes covering their face acting as a mask appeared. Besides them, I quickly noticed hiding in the shadows was a few other people dressed in similar outfits holding swords and bows. The masked people said nothing; however, one man came out behind them without a mask. The fat little man was a Human, and he was wearing rather fancy clothes and then spoke towards the girls as if he knew them from somewhere,
"Hello ladies, fancy running into you tonight."
