I reached into my pockets to pull out some gold from my inventory to start things off. I thought 2,000 gold should do like in the markets. I did not want to come off as to wealthy. I couldn't help at the moment to glance over while the menu was open in my vision to see what else I would need to refill. Everything was looking good, but the fighting power potions. Looking around the magical inventory screen. ‘There were 38 spots in my bag when I played the game but would things be the same here?’

After I had given the two weapons to Reena and Jacosta, there were few supplies I had left from the items of the original game. So I gave away was the second Betless cutlass I used to use and the wand. The other weapon was my old friend May and her character Ferish had given me before the game ended, and I woke up here as Azurith. While I did my best to navigate the menu sitting in my vision, I could see there was 50 (HP) and 60 (MP) potions, and beside them still in the bags-menu was Chums Axe, the Mace Wand, and the Old Wooden Staff, the others I used to play with used.

The window closed when I stuck my hand out of my pockets. inside my hands now was 2000 gold and my last (FP) potion; I walked up to where Natia was seated, and I asked her once I placed the handful down on her desk, “Hey, do you guys carry anything like these?”

Once I put down the two potions on her desk. She and Arthur, both together, one after another, picked up the (FP) potion. That was when they asked what the potion was was for. Arthur, who had the red-orange vile in his hand and had it held close to his eye, said to me, “Why I have never seen a potion with this colour before? What is it for?”

Looking at them both, it took me a moment to think of a reasonable response. After all, how do I explain what that potion was for unless I flat out told them I was not from this world and it was for my abilities and skills. So then, scratching my head, I replied to both of them and answered in a calm, confident voice, “It helps me recover a kind of form of stamina if that makes sense. Do you have something like that?”

I noticed Arthur looked at Natia with a suspicious look, and then he responded, “Hmm, Stamina?” I was taken aback when he said that it looked like they did not, but before Natia could have a chance to reply to Arthur's question, I interrupted her and said to both of them, ”Wait, you have something similar to this?”

I could see the woman named Natia smiling while she sat on her chair. Natia, after getting up, said to me, “Let me check the back for stamina potions. It is 50 gold a potion though most people use them in the bedroom and not in combat.”

Now blushing, she left the front desk while casually turning back to face me with a lewd look on her face. Walking towards the back, I saw her then start to check the shelves in the storage area.

I was feeling a little uncomfortable as I turned to Arthur and frantically said to him, “I swear, I don’t use them for that...There is an excellent reason behind why I need them to hear me out.”

I could tell Arthur was mentally laughing at me; now standing back upright, he got up from leaning against the wall and, he then said to me, “I am sure there is. Was that all you needed?”

After Arthur finished saying that, we both heard Natia scream from the back area towards us, yelling, “How many did you want Azurith!?”

Yelling back to her, I decided to add as I replied, “I need 25 of the stamina. So if you added 10 magic potions, that would be awesome.”

After I finished saying that, I began turning my attention back to Arthur, asking him while I had the chance while we were alone. I asked, “Why are you so nice towards me? Don’t humans hate demon races?”

Arthur paused for a moment, and then with his hand on his chin, his reply caught me off guard as he went on and told me, “I don’t have an issue helping those who need a hand. I judge people more on their character rather than race. Others in our guild feel the same though they may not be so quick to show it as much.”

Hearing that, I replied to Arthur and said, “Well, anyway, thank you for being so nice to the ladies and myself. I have some odd questions I feel you could answer. Do you have a moment to hear me out?”

Once I finished asking Arthur my question, I hoped I could get some information about what to expect going forward; I was hoping Arthur was knowledgeable. Having been an older human man in a well-established guild, he must have had access to a lot of valuable information. Arthur casually replied with a smile on his face still; he answered my question and said, “I don’t mind, Azurith. What did you want to ask me?”

Looking at him, I needed to know was there Undead races here? They had always spooked me, casually rubbing the back of my neck as Natia was still gathering the potions. So I started to ask my questions, started with just that, and said to Arthur, “Are there still undead races?” Arthur looking at me, paused, giving me an unusual glare he had not given me before; then he replied with a cold tone, “Yes, though; the Undead can be a bit much at times.”

When he finished, he turned over with a weird posture to him now as he leaned up against the wall again and asked me, “Hey Azurith, Have you ever been to a Necropolis in your lifetime,” ‘A necropolis?’ Not even in my game were their Undead cities; as I turned to him, I replied, “No, I have not. I did not even know they were smart enough to build their own cities.”

I could tell he was hoping I would say yes by the way he slouched; playing it off, Arthur started laughing again. Arthur was a kind and jolly man from what I could tell, and once he finished laughing, he turned to me again and said, “Well, as long as you behave in the city, you’ll be fine. From what I hear, Humans, elves, beast-people, dwarfs are not allowed inside their cities whatsoever, and they rarely let the demon races in. So if you go there, go alone.”

“Thanks for the information, Arthur. I appreciate it. However, I have one more question for you. Are there any books I could buy about the past classes and the magic they used? I am trying to research ‘The summoned, and Other worlders’ and anything would be useful.”

Arthur was still leaning up against the wall, and he now glowed in his eye, though. It was as if there was a sudden fire that ignited in them as he turned his head; I could see the glow as he tipped up his fedora and replied, “I have a book in my room; if you win the tournament, I’ll throw it in as a gift it has some useful information I believe you would be interested in.”

Once we were finished with our conversation, I could hear a stumble as Natia turned the corner at the perfect time before I had a chance to answer Arthur. Now walking back, I could see in Natia's hands were handfuls of supplies, and as she walked towards us, the click-clack of her heels I could hear as she approached. She leaned right and then leaned left; her hands were full with a crate that I could see was full of potions. The crate looked very heavy for the little woman as she struggled. I could tell when I turned to face Arthur that he also looked a little worried as he went on and frantically told her, “ Natia, please don’t hurt yourself; if you have to put some of those down and go back for them with a second trip, shesh woman!”

Natia managed to make it over to where her desk was and where Arthur and I were waiting; as she got to the desk, she went on and threw the crate down, saying while she did so, “I got this, Arthur," Then she turned and faced me and said, "Alright Azurith,” I turned to face her; I noticed she had a little slip of paper and was filling it out I was a little puzzled and answered her and said,” Yes?”

Then with a cute smile and a little grin, she went on to tell me, “Your total is 1850 gold.” So I gave her the 2000 gold and said,” Keep the change.”

With that transaction completed, Natia happily accepted the extra gold saying as she did, “Yay, thank you!” Clapping her hands together.

Next, she turned to give the supplies over to me, and while leaning over the desk, I heard her say to Arthur, "I like this guy, Arthur. You can bring him whenever you like around here on my shift. It will be our secret!”

Smiling, Natia then handed over the box of supplies to me. I then started to take out each potion, examining it briefly. It was a strange red colour for the stamina, but they lacked the orange tint, and the other potion was yellow. As I removed them all now from the crate, I began slipping them into my pockets. As they disappeared before her eyes, I could see the magic trick caught off Natia as she jumped back a little.

Arthur was getting used to my magic trick, having spent the day shopping with the ladies and me earlier. However, Natia continued to freak out behind the desk when she saw that each potion disappeared as it entered my pocket. Thus, Natia watched each of the potions she had carried over disappear before her eyes.

Finally, just as I was finishing, I could see Natia could not contain herself any longer. She was standing behind the till, rubbing his legs back and forth. Then, panting, I could see her getting excited as I heard next to a shuffling noise and a door slam or something as I saw her then run around to the side door, open it and look at me.

Natia began to full-on sprint towards me, running around the front desk past Arthur, which must have caught Arthur by surprise. I could not help but see him shoot back a little as she shot past. I could not do anything like the little human woman Natia came barrelling towards me at high speeds.

As the little woman jumped at my pants, I got scared, and I held her head back by her head. Thankfully, she was too short of reaching me. But she was within inches of reaching my pants with her hands. I now said, looking down towards her, “Um, you are an Elf? I did not even notice before with your short hair covering your ears. Your name would add up now, though.”

This whole time I had thought she was a human. It was strange to learn she was actually an Elf. As I restrained Natia, who was continuing to try to reach for my pants pocket or something, I could feel a shift in her body as she frantically kicked around and busted out of my grip.

I scanned her with my unique scan and saw the following information. Natia Silverwing was her full name, and she was a level 44 Mentalist with the guild, inspecting her more while I re: adjusted my hand. I continued to restrain her by her head, and as I held my hand against her forehead, her pink short hair ran over my hand, exposing her ears again.

Before, it was hard to see her ears as her hair was covering them, but now with my hand exposing them, I could see the little woman was, in fact, an Elf and not a human. Plus, now that she was in front of me, I could see Natia's little figure. She was a petite girl. She stood about 4’4 and was clearly very young. Looking down at Natia, who was trying her best to reach for my pants, I continued to ask, “Can I help you?”

It was at that time I could hear Arthur started running over to my aid. When he reached us, he grabbed Natia by the waist, picking her up like a doll. Natia, who was still attempting to grab my pants, reaching out with her tiny hands, cried out, “: Let me down.”

She was relentless and did not let the fact Arthur picked her up stop her. Arthur then went to scold her before he threw her behind the door closing it behind her, saying in the process towards Natia, “Never leave this door open, Natia!” Then, picking herself but up off the floor, she sat down at her desk and said to me, “How did you do that? I want to know...I need to know, for you see, I hate walking! To get up and to get supplies from the back is awful! It sucks!” ‘Wait, what?’

Looking over, I noticed Arthur’s jaw dropped to the floor, as did mine after hearing that last comment, and he then said to me, “Common this way, Azurith, let us get to your friends now, and then you guys can get on with your training for today in the Arena.”

Shaking my head as to what I just heard was funny, we started to walk away from Natia, as I answered Arthur and said, “Right, let’s go.”

After all that happened, I wanted to distance myself from her. It was also getting late, and we still needed to train. After we were at a safe distance, I turned back to face Natia and apologized to her, “Sorry, Natia, another day!” I could see she was holding her hands out, saying towards me as I walked away with Arthur, “My shift ends at eight tonight; find me later tonight. Then, swing by the guild and tell me all of your secrets!”

While looking back towards her, I replied, looking worried with every step, “Right...”

I sped up to Arthur, who already began walking ahead and away from the crazed elf. I looked over at Arthur, who slowed down momentarily to allow me to catch up. But, besides him, I could see him continue to walk away. So I started saying to him now beside him, “She’s a fascinating girl...”

Arthur looked over and grabbed me by the shoulder and said, “Interesting, yes, but for your safety, you should stay away from her. Once Natia has a target in mind and sight, she does not stop. Natia is relentless and a little crazy. Just so we are clear, I warned you to stay away from her, Natia may look innocent, but she is crazy. That is the reason why we keep her here on desk duties after the last incident.”

Nervously I began to look back; my heart sunk a little when I noticed Natia met me with a stare. She had the creepiest grin on her face while she licked her lips, sending shivers down my spine. As we walked into a new area in the guild, the smell was very exotic and refreshing. When we turned the corner, the sight of various hanging plants on the walls and ceiling met my eyes. Some of the vines I saw had hanging flowers growing off of them. I could also begin to hear running water like before in the entrance. However, this time, it was a lot louder. This noise I heard sounded more like a waterfall falling into pools of water as it was crashing, making that loud splashing noise. Various frogs and fishes I could see swimming around in the stream beside us as we walked. This was a very magical area. Arthur looked back and saw I was standing around in amazement and said towards me, “Come this way, they are probably in the center of the garden.”

As we walked along the brick path with the stream beside us, Arthur began to talk a little about the garden we were in and how it got started, “So this was the previous guild leaders project to preserve the rare exotic flowers in this region that were going extinct.”

As we now approached a wooden bridge, we started walking over it, and on the other side, Jacosta and Reena were seated on a metal bench with Lest and Paul standing beside them. I could overhear the gentlemen talking about the garden's flowers. However, as soon as the ladies saw me, they ignored them, and they started to run over and said, “Azurith!”

Once they were within arms distance, both of them ran up, giving me a huge hug. Next, Reena asked me, “Did you get everything we will need for our training today?” Answering her, I said as the noise of water continued to crash, “Yes, I did. Did you enjoy the garden? I think this is a gorgeous garden."

Jacosta, now looking up at me with a smile, replied as she started saying to me as she reached down and picked a flower, “Yes, we did. We haven’t seen these types of flowers in so long. Some aren’t even found in this region anymore.”

Looking around, there were many beautiful flowers, none I could recognize, but the smells of some of the flowers were giving off were familiar. I could compare to smell to roses or lilacs and maybe daisies. Regardless it was a pleasant area to be in, very calming, very soothing to the soul. Taking a deep breath in and out, the air was way fresher than the normal air outside in here; I slowly responded to Jacosta while enjoying the clean air. “Well, that is great! We will leave when you want to then, okay? We still have plenty of time in the day.”

Jacosta and Reena both started saying together now in unison, “Let's train!”

‘Seriously!’ Now, Paul, Arthur and Lest led us back to the guild's entrance hall from the garden. Once we were at the front, they began waving goodbye towards us. Once we were in front of the door, we waved back towards them. Afterwards, I thanked Arthur for their help, and we left.

Now, as we started walking down the steps, I could not help but to turn and say to Reena and Jacosta as the sunset in the sky slowly, “Well, that was a nice guild house, wasn’t it?” Reena turning to me, said, “Agreed.” I could see them both shake their heads in agreeance while smiling, and then Reena said to Jacosta and I as we walked down the steps,

“We will have to walk down a few streets to get to the Arena, but it is not too far from here, I think.”

I then followed her and Jacosta down an alley. We found ourselves on the main street once again in no time. As we started to walk towards the Arena, we did not say much as we walked around in the rich area. The ladies I was with were more uncomfortable as there were many people out with no shops around but nice houses, and when compared to the poor area, nobody was at work. At the same time, I imagined everyone in the poor area was still at work to survive at this time of the hour. Here on this side of the city, it was different, nobody worked, and it was calm. I could not help but say to the ladies as we walked around, "I guess where ever you go. The rich always have free time,”

Reena then picked up her speed, and Jacosta followed closely behind her, saying back to me, “Common Azurith, this way!! I can't wait to try out this armour and sword!” Chasing after Reena and Jacosta now I yelled out to them both, "Slow down."

We walked towards the Arena, now through the final alley. As we turned the corner there, there it was, the Arena. There was a huge circle ring structure before we made it out of stone, probably 32 metres tall. From what I could tell, The Arena had a roman theatre kind of style to it. I imagined inside there were probably stands to sit in and spectate the fights below. If the arena was anything like Gepots, I knew the arena area was more than likely a simple design and was very straightforward to battle. ‘In a center stage for all the watch.’

We started moving past the people outside, gathered around the structure's front, and walked into the arena entrance. Large groups of people took bets and talked to this one guy standing on top of a crate. I could tell upon further inspection he was a dwarf man, and he was the one taking the bets one would call “bookie” you would talk to him on to bet on who would win in the stands.

I watched below as two people walked out of an area and up to the center of the stage to begin. I scanned the two individuals before it began and saw one was a Ranger level 41, and the other was a level, 47 Slayer. Walking over to the Dwarf male standing on the box. I looked towards the dwarf man on the box with the girls beside me, yelling, “Last call!”

I took out 500 gold and was determined to bet it on the Ranger, not knowing how they fought. I just wanted to place a bet to introduce myself to everyone, but that did not work out as planned. I walked up and said to him,” Dwarf, I put 500 on the Ranger.” The Dwarf, not seeing me before, asked,” New are you, alright 500 on the Ranger then.” Laughing, he then asked,” Name stranger?”

I replied to his question without hesitation and said, “Azurith” The dwarf then replied, “Alright, Azurith ill take that bet. Bets are going 3:1 on the Ranger losing.”

Accepting the gold from me, everyone I was with now took a seat in the stands; the match began as we all sat down. Finally, finally, I was ready to watch the fight. I could see a random man walk up to the side of the arena stage, and then out loud, he started to prepare to count down from ten.

As each combatant got ready, the Slayer drew their sword and raised their shield, looking like a true knight of might and magic with their sash blowing in the wind. His opponent across from him was wearing a full-body spandex suit that was black and green in colour. The person standing on the side counted down, as the two looked at each other,

“10...9...8...7...6...5..4...3..2...1...0” The Slayer ran forward, charging the Ranger class with their shield drawn.
