I, the Dragon. What to do now?
Chapter 25: Tannery Hell

Chapter 25: Tannery Hell

Warning: This chapter contains graphic descriptions of cruelty and suffering towards animals. Reader discretion is advised.

The dragon, now bonded with the wolf pack, made its way to an abandoned tannery near the lake. Inside, they discovered a horrifying scene of cruelty and suffering at the hands of poachers.

The wolves explained to the dragon that Moon, a white wolf with rare blue eyes, and her two grey brothers had been captured by the poachers. The alpha wolf, now referred to as Fang, declared the dragon as their sister for saving the tribe from hunger.

Together, the dragon and the wolf pack approached the tannery. The dragon had no guilt for this mission; it despised cruelty, poachers, and was now fiercely protective of its new family.

Inside the tannery, they found animals of various species locked in cages, awaiting their gruesome fate. The poachers' goal was to preserve the animals' fur quality by subjecting them to extreme fear and pain. The dragon couldn't bear the cries and moans of the suffering creatures, some of whom were forced to share cages with their natural predators.

The poachers were preparing to skin a grey wolf, and the dragon couldn't let this cruelty continue. It instructed the wolves to proceed with caution, as the poachers were armed and dangerous.

The dragon explained the concept of cameras and phones to the wolves, warning them not to let the poachers capture any evidence of their presence. They stressed the importance of not being recorded or photographed.

As the wolves prepared to confront the poachers, they asked the dragon about a peculiar term: "vore." The dragon explained that it could absorb living beings into its body, essentially consuming them and granting them a new existence within itself.

With a clear plan in mind, the wolves proceeded to confront the poachers. The dragon, using its abilities, disrupted the entrance gate, allowing the wolves to enter undetected.

The poachers, soaked in blood and armed, were preparing to skin the wolves alive. The dragon intervened, using its scales to deflect bullets while the wolves attacked the poachers. It was a chaotic scene, with the poachers meeting a violent end at the hands of the enraged wolves.

After dispatching the poachers, the dragon and the wolves found two of their own, Moon and Wolfy, in a horrific state. Moon had a hook through her jaw, and much of her skin had been removed. Wolfy had been skinned alive and was on the brink of death.

Desperate to save them, the dragon sought guidance from Octahedron. Unfortunately, the damage was too severe, and there was no recovery possible for Moon and Wolfy.

Octahedron recommended using electricity to relieve their pain and prevent their hearts from stopping. The dragon proceeded to provide this mercy, using electricity to keep Moon and Wolfy alive and unconscious.

However, the injuries were beyond healing. To end their suffering, the dragon explained that it could perform "vore absorption," a process that would essentially consume them, granting them a new existence within itself.

Despite the horror of the situation, the wolf pack agreed to this plan, understanding that there was no other way to save their comrades. Moon and Wolfy would become part of the dragon, living on in a different form.

As the wolf pack looked on in sorrow, the dragon carried out the vore absorption. Moon and Wolfy's suffering ended, and they would live on as part of the dragon's essence.

Afterward, the dragon addressed the wolf pack, asking them never to harm the prey animals they had rescued from the tannery cages. These animals were now part of their family and should be treated with love and care.

With their mission complete, the dragon ignited the tannery, turning it into a blazing inferno. They left the scene and headed back to their den, carrying Moon's now lifeless body, with the knowledge that they had put an end to the cruelty of the poachers and granted their fallen comrades a new existence.
