As we left the inn, we were on one of the four main roads that radiated out from the center of town to the city walls.
Even though dawn had just broken the streets were already busy with traders and people going up and down the cobblestone streets, and as the reality of this “dream” world set in I got a strong feeling of nostalgia that restored my mood to what it was before my less-than-optimal start of the day.
And my mood worsened again when we opened the reinforced oak door to see a large fight had broken out which was blocking the way to the desk where I could sign up and take a contract, but before I could even try to activate my magic to stop the fighting Grog just took the lead and started throwing anyone who stood in our way to the side with quite a lot of force, like enough force to make the building shake a little when they hit the wall, and this was a building that could probably support my weight on the top floor without any help from my skills.
When we got to the desk the lady that manned it casually asked us what we were there for
“we’re here to sign a new member up and to get a level 3.5 contract to test his strength” answered Aldor while ignoring the fight that was still going on behind us

“Excuse me I can’t hear you over all the noise in the background” yelled the woman trying to overcome the increasing noise of the fight behind us
“we’re here to sign a new mem... oh screw this, Vigil just shut them up.” said Aldor looking at Vigil
“Got it!” Aldor said as he lifted his hand to compress a large amount of air in his palm. Then he released it to generate a shockwave that knocked everyone down and instantly silenced the room, and the ones that got up to try to fight the person that knocked them down quickly changed their minds when they saw Grog.
“What I was trying to tell you is that we’re here to sign a new member up and to get a level 3.5 contract to test his strength” repeated Aldor for the last time
“And who is the person that will be signing up?” she asked while inspecting every member of our party
“That would be me.” I answered while squatting a little, so my face wasn’t blocked by the desk window
“And what specification are you?” she asked holding a piece of paper and a pencil
“What are these specifications?” I asked tilting my head to the side
“They are like your job titles, like mage, swordsman or ranged.” she explained
“Oh, then I'm all of those” I said casually
“O... kay, I'll just write Omni-specified” she said a bit confused
“And what is your name?” she asked
After I found out I couldn’t sleep I thought about what my new name would be. It had to be something that reflected my goal, something fitting the change I wanted to make, it just had to be..
“Sentinel” I answered
