Gravity control

Gravity control

Two rails of conductive metal, lightning magic, hollow bolts of specially synthesized material made to be insanely heavy and strong, so they penetrate armor, inject magic energy Inside the bolt, add a magic imbuement to release all magic energy as heat on contact with an object. And there we have a railgun with explosive ammo, when it’s inserted in the forearm it can be used to kill armored enemies at long ranges. Now then we send that to my armorer AI to handle the specifics and create the blueprints.

Next is magic that is necessary for the next weapon, alright take this bed and imagine it moving up against the force of gravity by transforming the magical energy to mechanical energy, now move it around a little and... There it’s flying around. Now then just to get a little more precise movement I'm going to let a new AI translate my orders into actual movements.

*New skill: Telekinesis*

Now with that I can lift my sword and if I then use the skill “Sword creation” I can take control of Multiple blades without it taking too much processing power from my brain.

Using my new telekinesis skill, I can also imitate gravity control by setting some force up or down, and with the new precise control of magic I can also more selectively control, like if I wanted to incapacitate one person in a Crowd, I could just select his body and pin him with what would feel like gravity.

*New skill: Gravity control*

Then as dawn approached, I finished the installation of my new arm cannon which was embedded in my forearm and fired when I split my hand in two between my middle- and ring finger

*Knock, knock*

“Automaton, are you awake?” called the voice of Aldor from the hall connecting all our rooms

“I am!” I answered saving him the explanation of how I actually didn’t sleep at all

“Good, we’re gathering downstairs in the lobby after we are done eating, after that we’re going to the Challenger center to sign you up and get your first contract.” he yelled as I could hear him walking away from the door

After I stood up from my chair to go wait in the lobby for them, I attached my scabbard to my back and put on my raggedy brown cloak and opened the door to start my life as a Challenger.

There weren't many people in the lobby and the clerk who normally stood at the desk was probably still asleep as it was quite early.

“Who left their tiny golem here!” yelled a voice coming from the entrance

As I turned around, I saw a tall, heavily muscled man with spiky brown hair standing in the entrance looking at me,

“Excuse me sir but I am no golem” I said with my politest voice “I am an intelligent automaton.”

“Oh, so you are the Nomed that recently showed up at the front gate” he said as his frown turned to a smile

“those incompetent soldiers really couldn’t beat a weak looking golem like this, what would they do if people like us didn’t exist.” he mockingly said to his party standing behind him as they laughed

“I bet you’ll fetch a pretty penny if we deliver you to an arena, so why don’t you just come with us nice and easy.”

“Are you threatening me!?” I asked him as I stood up from the place I was sitting

The clerk who had just arrived in the lobby to start his morning shift could only watch as the group of Challengers all took their swords in their hands and lunged at me.

“WE COULD ALSO DELIVER YOUR CORPSE FOR USE AS A PUNCHING BAG!” yelled the spiky haired guy as he quickly closed the distance between us.

But with one snap of my finger (this wasn’t needed but it probably looks really intimidating) I increased the force of gravity they felt by a factor of 10 which instantly pinned them to the ground with a loud thud.

“Please calm down and think about the repercussions of attacking someone before you do” I smugly stated as I lifted my hand and used my magic to pick them up off the floor.

They quickly went about their business as normal after this, checking into a room and practically tripping over themselves going up the stairs, to get away from me

“Oh, you’re here already!” I heard the voice of vigil say “I guess we’re all set to go to the Challenger center”
